Henry Salt
Called Maytag for a warranty claim, they set me up with an appointment with Appliance Express. They got us scheduled quick, were detailed in the appointment timeframes, and responsive. Tim M. was the tech that came by and he had the unit running within 15 minutes. The repair required was an issue that could only be diagnosed by someone with a knowledge and skill for the trade, in which Tim figured out the issue immediately. No surprise fees or costs associated with the warranty repair.

We are not happy with how this was handled. We initially contacted Appliance Express because the lights in our refrigerator were not working properly. The first technician diagnosed the issue as a faulty control board, which was then ordered, and a follow-up visit was scheduled for installation. The installation was performed by a different technician, and unfortunately, the board was installed incorrectly. As a result, the refrigerator stopped cooling entirely. When we called to report the issue, we explained that this was caused by the recent installation and that our food was getting spoiled. Despite this, the earliest appointment offered was nearly a week later. Given that the problem was directly caused by the them, this should have been treated as an urgent situation and addressed immediately. Eventually, the original technician, Luis, returned and installed the board correctly. He did a good job, and we appreciate his work. However, the overall experience was unacceptable. The incorrect installation by the second technician, combined with the lack of urgency in resolving a problem caused by their service, reflects poorly on your process and customer support.
