San Antonio is a city that offers a variety of activities for residents and visitors alike. The following is a list that highlights the top upcoming local events in San Antonio, Texas.

  1. San Antonio Potters Guild Juried Ceramics and Glass Arts Show happening at the Centro Cultural Aztlan, 1800 Fredericksburg, #103, San Antonio, through June 28, 2017. This show is in its 24th year. It’s open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free. The renowned ceramicist Ovidio Gibga is judging the entries this year.
  2. High Voltage Music Program is offering free music workshops for children and teens ages 12-17. This program occurs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the South Texas Museum of Popular Culture, 1017 E. Mulberry, San Antonio. This is a great opportunity for young people to learn how to play their choice of guitar, drums, bass, vocals, songwriting, and DJ skills. Registration is based on first come, first served, and advanced registration is required.
  3. Texas in the First World War is a presentation that explores the role Texas played in World War I. The exhibition takes place Sundays from 12-5 p.m. and Mondays-Saturdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. It takes place at the Institute of Texan Cultures, 801 E. Cesar Chavez Blvd, San Antonio and continues through January 7, 2018
  4. Fourth of July Artisan Walk along the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk happens this year Friday, June 30, 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 10 a.m.-11 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. and Monday, July 3, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
