When functioning as an access point, the refrigerator will show the AP error code. The access point mode is used so that you can configure your refrigerator for Wi-Fi features such as SmartThings.

The refrigerator is in cooling off mode if it displays the symbols OF OF, O FF, or OFF, or if it displays scrolling temperature bars. Demo or store mode are other names for cooling mode.

This error code indicates that while the fan should be spinning, the electronics are not picking up rotational data from the fan.
This typically indicates that the fan is frozen, which can happen if the door is left open or if the door gasket is not closed when it should be. Fan motor failure is another possibility.
If your fan is frozen, unplug the appliance in order to defrost it. You can also check to ensure the fridge is not overfilled to the point that the door is not closing properly. If this doesn’t clear the error, check the door gaskets all the way around the door to make sure they have contact.
These codes indicate another fan issue and may be brought on by operating the refrigerator with the door left open for an extended period of time.
If this happens, disconnect the fridge, leave the doors open for a few hours, then plug it back in, close the doors, and carry on as usual. This should clear the error code.
Only the 3-Door French Door Family Hub units should experience this problem. It indicates an issue with a software update. To fix it:
