How to Replace a Bosch Dishwasher’s Hose (Sump to Water Inlet)

Dishwashers can leak. While there are a lot of different parts that can break and lead to water damage, a visual inspection can usually let you know which part is broken and needs to be replaced. A cracked sump to water inlet hose can leak a lot of water. It also attracts thirsty pests. Order a replacement part #00361113 for Bosch dishwashers and follow these steps:

1. Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water connection.

This repair involves removing parts connected to the water inlet. It’s important to shut off the water to limit any spills.

2. Access the interior workings of the dishwasher.

Loosen the two screws holding in place. Pull the panel away
Remove the screws from the interior edge of the dishwasher door to loosen the exterior access panel. Close the door and pull the exterior panel free.
Remove the inner access panel, located under the exterior door panel by loosening the two screws. Set it aside. Then you can see and access the inlet hose on the left side.

3. Remove the old inlet hose.

Pull the middle of the hose free from the retainer.
Then lay a hose near the sump port to catch any water still in the hose. Pull the hose free from the sump connection and then the water inlet. All you have to do is pull it free by hand until it snaps loose.

4. Replace the inlet hose.

Push one end of the hose into the water inlet connection and the other into the sump port until it snaps into position. Make sure it’s snugly in position. Next, click the middle of the hose into place in the retainer and close the safety cap nearby by.

5. Reassemble the machine.

Screw the inner access panel back into position. Then slip the door panel into place so it snaps together before opening the door and tightening the screws on the interior of the door. Screw the bottom access panel back into position.
