Arrived on site for an electric dryer model MED7230HW2that is making abnormal noises during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me a video of the sound and it sounded like a cracked blower wheel rubbing. I gained access to the blower wheel and did find it cracked. I replaced the blower wheel WP697772 and checked all rollers. The rollers and idler pulley were in good condition. I reassembled and tested the machine and found the unit working and operating as designed with no abnormal sounds present. Call complete.

MVW5035MW1 Arrived on site for a washer making nosies when spinning. On arrival, I ran diagnostic no error codes. I ran a test and I heard the nosies coming from the splutch. I looked under the unit and found the splutch, belt and actuator have failed. I replaced all parts calibrated then tested product is working as its designed no water leaks visible from main water supply.

Arrived on site to test unit JJW2830LL01 for F2E1 error code. Upon arrival found F2E1 (stuck key) error code persisting. Removed unit from cavity and replaced both controls, harness, and console using updated control kit (W11819339). Attached images of all connections and new parts reference sheet to SD. Entered service mode and ran auto test; all tests passed. Initiated 350 bake cycle in both cavities; unit reached set temperature with no interruption. Unit is now running as designed, job complete.

Arrived on site to replace the previously diagnosed blower assembly and control for the oven. Removed the necessary panels to gain access to both components. Replaced the blower and control. secured all wiring and connections, and reassembled the unit. Tested the oven after completing the repair to verify proper blower operation and overall functionality. Arrived on site to install, previously diagnosed parts on a washing machine model MTW5820TW0. Inspected unit and work area. I went to replace all parts and found all parts were seized onto the basket or tub. I found the drive block was so corroded, parts of it broke off as I was removing it from the basket drive. I was able to remove and replace the gearcase 3360629, basket drive W10820043, and clutch 285785. I reassembled the unit it and found the drive block couldnt hold the basket in place properly. I found that when it went to spin, the basket would skip. Arrived on site for a washer WFW560CHW4 not draining. Verified that the unit isnt draining. Vacuumed the water and replaced the pump w11578225 since it was clogged and weak. Filled and drained several times without any issues or leaks detected.

Arrived on site to inspect upright freezer WZF34X20DW06 no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the unit in the garage and was pulled out away from the wall and unplugged. I plugged ths unit in and checked amp draw to the compressor and found .5 amps but the unit is not cooling. I advised the customer that the compressor has failed. I evacuated the system and cleared the system with nitrogen. I removed and replaced the compressor, access valve, and UV dye drier and vacuumed the system down to -30/0 psi. Checked the repair for leaks and found none and checked the the evaporator and found no leaks there. I installed 45g of R600 refrigerant and allowed the system to equalize. Once equalized, I plugged the unit in and tested and it is beginning to get a full frost pattern and cooling properly. I recommended that the customer allow the unit to cool for a few days before placing food items inside. No water connections to the unit, job completed. WPW10143759, W11506635, W11547313

Arrived on site (Unit 30) to test unit WTW4816FW3 for not progressing. Upon arrival customer stated it will sense and fill but will not advance into wash. Entered service mode; found F8E1 (long fill) error code stored. Cleared code and ran test cycle; when hot side energized, no water flowed. Removed water lines and tested; pressure present at both lines. Replaced valve (W11210463) and retested; condition persisted. Further testing found when water line opened all the way, no water flows, indicating shutoff valve on house side is the issue, causing improper water pressure and long fill condition. I found temperatures fluctuated between 315F, and 365F, averaging a temperature of 340F. Arrived on site to test unit WRTX3021TZ00 for no ice production. Upon arrival customer stated ice maker has been replaced multiple times but production never started. Internal FC temps at 5. Initiated harvest cycle; harvest completed successfully but valve did not energize. Inspected valve and found connector had not been plugged in. Plugged in connector and retested; harvest completed followed by fill with ideal water volume. Advised customer to allow 24 hours before seeing ice production. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete.

Arrived on site for washer making a loud noise and moving around a lot. I confirmed the suspension is bad and needs ro be replaced. I found f7e5, f7e6. Ran automatic test and confirmed loud gear noise during agitate and jet engine noise during spin. Found everything caked in oil from gearcase. Motor windings are black, actuatoe cannot sense. Replaced gearcase, cam, belt, drive motor, sheild, actuator and suspension. Recalibrated and ran automatic test cycle. Call complete

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis of a failed ice maker and following service pointer #W11832817, I gained access to the ice maker, valve, and fill tube and removed and replaced the ice maker (removed the ice maker air duct assembly per the manufacturer), valve and installed some foil tape to the end of the fill tube and installed a gasket at the air gap at the upper left edge of the air tower and reassembled the unit and tested. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service. Per previous techs diagnosis of needing a screw on the FC door, I researched and found that the screw only comes with the door. I am ordering the FC door and the office to schedule when it arrives. I advised the customer that the door will take approximately 6-8 weeks to arrive. No water leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11797007 (FC door)

Arrived to unit 1301 for unit tripping breaker. Upon arrival as soon as start button is pressed breaker trips. Remove the ground from machine and still same issue. Proceeded to check motor circuit from light blue on timer to white on the push-to-start and reads 1.9ohms. Should read around 3.5. Unit has either a pinched wire going to the motor or the motor circuit is bad. Called techline and spoke with Chris SR#24847933 to document call. Ordering WPW10450286 main harness. No parts replaced. Arrived on site for refrigerator not working. Ice maker not working. Ran diagnostics and checked thermistors, freezer and fridge thermistors checked good. Ran fan test and evaporator fan Ran and ice box fan Ran. Freezer temp was 5 degrees fridge temp was 37. Ice box temp was 8 degrees. All temps checked good. Jumped Ice maker and it would not cucle. Removed and replaced ice maker w11692161. Ice maker cycled and filled with water. Adbised cx that icemaker will start dumping ice after a couple hours. Arrived on site to inspect dryer WED5050LW1 taking multiple cycles to dry clothes. Upon further inspection, I checked the airflow and found it to be restricted. I removed the vent from the dryer and tested the airflow again and found there is good airflow and heating from the dryer. The problem is within the home vent. I informed the customer that the dryer is operating as designed however there is a problem in the home venting that is blocking airflow. Once the vent problem is addressed, the dryer will operating normally.

Arrived on site to refrigerator not cooling. Verified all compartments are room temp. Lights are on and display is working. Testrd evaporator fans and fans came on. Removed back panel and compressor was not ru. Ing. Verified 120vac at main board. Replaced main board and compressor still on running. Arrived on site to test unit WTW4815EW1 for not advancing. Upon arrival customer stated unit would fill and wash but would not remove all the water at the end of a cycle. Also drain pump will energize randomly when cycle is not in use. Entered service mode; found no stored error codes. Ran test cycle, and after cycle completed with no issues, found F3E1 (pressure system fault) error code stored. Cleared error code and reset control; inspected pressure hose and found no kinks, punctures, or restrictions, with valve confirmed not leaking, isolating fault to a failed pressure switch on the control. Replaced control (W11124765). Ran calibration cycle successfully, followed by test cycle; error code no longer returning. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete.

Arrived on-site to diagnose unit for noise during operation. Tested unit and confirmed the noise was coming from underneath the washer.Further inspection found the rotor mounting bolt was missing, allowing the rotor to move excessively and bounce during operation. Due to the rotor running loose, the rotor splines/interlocking teeth were damaged from grinding.Replaced:W11260238 RotorW10734521 SliderAfter replacement, reassembled and tested the unit. Arrived onsite for slow ice production. Customer stated he maybe shouldve canceled the call due to ice bin full now. Opened freezer and found full bin of ice. Cx stated that he looked on the manual and saw that the unit is expected to make ice 3 days after operati9n due to unit needing to cool. I advised customer that the unit can take up to 3 days to cool and prioritizes cooling both compartments fc and rc before focusing on making ice. Also advised customer to make sure the ice doesnt obstruct the twist tray due to chance of breaking the tray. Customer understands. He did state that the water dispenser inside is loud and quiets down. I advised him on first use it is loud due to pressure being supplied and after water is flowing it quiets down due to pressure stabilizing. Also stated the valve supplying the water to dispenser is located inside the compartment back wall and will be a bit louder compared to the rear mounted valves. Call complete. No issues or leaks.

Arrived on site to inspect ice machine KUIX335HPS01 leaking. Upon further inspection I pulled the ice machine out onto my floor protector and checked the water connection and hose. I found that the hose extension was kinked which caused build up in the hose and eventually it blocked water from flowing out and rowing back into the bin. I found that the water line was slowing seeping water indicating the gasket or o ring on the hose was worn and will need to be replaced. I examine the inner components and found secondary issue with the grid cutter developing rust. I replaced the grid cutter and informed the customer that the drain hose extension and water line would need to be replaced by the owner as it is not part of the machine. Machine was left off. All other components are now tested normally. W10919199

Arrived on site to test unit JMC2430LL01 for F2E1 error code. Upon arrival customer stated error code persisted but has stopped the last few days. Entered service mode; found F2E1 (stuck key) error code stored. Inspected console; did not find any delamination. Due to intermittent nature of the issue, replaced console (W11735112) and tested; error code no longer returning. Unit is now running as designed, job complete.

Arrived on site for unit making high-pitched squealing noise. Upon arrival, customer presented video recording, however cannot pin point the noise. Ran a load and customer stated the noise happens when it agitates counterclockwise. Proceeded to replace W11795538 gear case. Customer stated still noise occurs. Advise customer to reach out to customer service. Customer agreed. Unit is functioning as designed. No water leaks detected at this time.

Arrived on site for low ice production. Upon arrival out unit into test mode and ran harvest cycle. Ice maker went through harvest normally and dropped ice. Best did dispense test and water dispensed slowly. Removed and replaced water valve in fridge and tested again. Unit now dispensed ice correctly. Instructed cx to monitor ice production and that it takes about 3 days to fully fill ice bin when empty. Cx understood.

Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher WDF332PAMS0 start button not responding. Upon further inspection I placed the unit into diagnostics and observed error code F2E1 internal control failure. Arrived on site to look at model JFFCF72DKM00 for customer complaint of knocking noise. Found noise coming from damper control. I replaced damper control, unit tested good. Part used wpw10594329

Arrived on site to diagnose the over-the-range microwave for a noise occurring when the unit starts and when the cooking cycle ends. Tested the microwave through multiple operating cycles and verified the reported sound. Upon inspection, determined that the noise is coming from the vent damper opening and closing during normal operation. Demonstrated the operation to the customer by turning the exhaust fan on, which caused the damper to open as designed. Once the fan was turned off, the damper closed and produced the same sound the customer had reported. Explained to the customer that this is normal operation of the venting system and does not indicate a mechanical failure. No abnormal noises or additional issues were found during testing. Unit is operating and venting as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site for refrigerator and freezer not cooling. Upon arrival verified concern, FC and RC are both warm and not cooling at all. Checked compressor and it is running and not overly hot. All fans running normally. Removed FC evap and coil has no frost pattern at all and can hear refrigerant flowing but it sounds like water flowing. Will order compressor, coil, Uv dryer, and access valve. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator KRFC236SPS03 not dispensing water properly. Upon further inspection I found that after removing the filter the water flowed normally. Since there is not a way to test the filter or housing alone I decided to replace the the filter housing. The customer pointed out a defect on the bottom of the fridge had caused damage to their floor when the fridge was delivered. I inspected the defect and found it to be a result of too much insulation being applied during the manufacturing process. The foam caused the bottom of the chassis to bow downward and also bending the left foot mounting upward (photos) and is making contact with the floor. Because of the defect there is not way to safely service the refrigerator since attempting to pull the fridge out will cause property damage. I did not move the fridge. I called techline and documented my findings. Techline advised to replace the filter housing and filter. The agent said the defect appeared to be cosmetic. I explained that it had frame bowing and I could not remove the refrigerator saftey due to the manufacturing defect. The agent stated that the filter would be covered however, upon checking with claims found that this was inaccurate. I was provided a case number and reached out to service management and advised of finding and correspondence with techline. Office and management will follow up to resolve the issue. Arrived on sote for a refrigerator model ED5FHEXVB00 that is not cool8ng properly again. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the machine built the frost back up within a week and has noticed no difference. I found evidence of a defrost issue within the freezer section. I gained access to the ADC and checked resistance on the heater from P4 to P2-3 (showing the resistance to the heater without the bimetal) and found proper resistance (27.3 ohms). I checked resistance from P7 to P4 (heater circuit) and P7 to P2-3 (bimetal only) and found an open line. I gained access to the molex connector in the freezer and checked resistance to the bimetal at the molex connector and found resistance. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Jonathan SR # 24853411. He had me run a few resistance checks and had me jump brown to pink at the molex connector. We found the pink wire showed no resistance anywhere. He advised that based on current information, the issue would have to be a wire harness issue within the cabinet. He advised me to make no further repairs at this time. The office will need to reach out the the extended warranty for further assistance. No parts were installed, and no leaks were present during service.

MOED6030LZ01 Arrived on site for a wall oven with error code F8E1 . On arrival, I verified the error code. Further inspection I found the control board and top blower has failed I replaced both parts then tested. I found the lower blower has failed as well. Im ordering lower blower and wireharness. Arrived on site for washer reseting and not completing a cycle. Says lights go from wash to done then back. Unit was unplugged. I reset power and entered diagnostics. No errors found. Ran automatic test cycle and all components pass. Ran a normal cycle. Unit is working as designed. Advised customer on not opening door during cycle.

MVW6200KW2 Arrived on site for a washer not starting. On arrival, I tested the suspension as I always do. I found the suspension in terrible condition. I looked under and found the belt shedded. I calibrated the unit all is working fine. The issue is the suspension, gearcase, belt, cam. Im ordering the suspension, gearcase, and washplate. All returning parts will be needed. MTW5605RW0 Arrived on site for a washer making knocking sounds. On arrival, I checked the suspension, and they were good . I checked if it was balanced. It was way off balance. I adjusted the left front leg. I checked diagnostic no error codes. I calibrated, and then I tested on quick wash. It went through the whole without any sounds. The product is working as its designed no water leaks visible from the main water supply. No parts used.

Tech line just found out there was a misprint on the owners manual. The indicator if for the door open light. It is not an error for anything else. There is currently not formal service bulletin or published documents. Whirlpool is working on it. Unit is functioning as designed. Job complete

Arrived onsite for start button not working and random operation. Upon arrival verified start button doesnt respond. Customer stated it wont wash either, replaced W11683480 cntrl and tested. Unit operates as designed with no leaks and pump checks good. Advised customer due to control failure it was most likely continously canceling and filling and not allow any wash operation. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the ice maker failure and our service pointer W11832817, I gained access to the ice maker, dual valve and fill tube. I removed and replaced the ice maker and per the manufacturer rep, I removed the ice maker air duct; I removed and replaced the dual valve and installed a gasket in the upper left corner edge of the rear tower to close off an air gap, then while in the process of removing the fill tube, the tube was providing a lot of resistance and my hand slipped and hit the fill tube water line connection causing it to crack. I reassembled the unit and turned the water off at the wall and tested the water dispenser several times to verify there was no water to the unit. I advised the customer of the issue and am ordering the fill tube and office to schedule return service due to the availability of the part. Rwturning tech to add the foil tape to the fill tube upon return service per the service pointer. No water leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11818596 (Fill tube assembly)

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Replaced stator and harness and ran diagnostics test. Unit completed as designed with no issues. Arrived onsite for washer MHW6630HC2 Giving error F3E2 and canceling cycle after 2-3 min. Another company, was out but no record of what was done. Did find the drain pan broken (took pic) and residue on the floor. Tested unit and found NTC giving reading approximately 75 degrees through the harness. With sensor reading good, replaced control W11322883. Reassembled and ran a complete quick wash cycle with no issues. Unit is functioning properly. Job complete

Areived onsite for leak claim. Tested and found significant drip leak out of the back left. Exposed dishwasher and found tub crushed outside in at the top seem. Leaking out of the popped seem significantly. Tub replacement will be needed to repair, turned unit water off, advised customer to not use dishwasher at all. Arrived on site to inspect washer model WTW4855HW3 continuously draining unless unplugged. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit into service mode and observed error code F3E1. I checked the condition of the pressure hose and found no obstructions or damage. The control has a failed pressure sensor, which is causing it to drain continuously. I replaced the control and calibrated and tested the machine. The machine is now operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. Arrived on site for a refrigerator model WRS325SDHZ08 that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the ice maker completely quit but they have had no tempertature issues. I took temperature of both compartments and found the freezer at 0F and the refrigerator at 36F. I tried jumping the icemaker and found the motor would not turn. I checked and verified proper voltage going to the icemaker, indicating the icemaker had failed. I replaced the icemaker W11700250 and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for unit with repeat unresolved complaint about squeaking during spin. Put belt w11239857 and cam W10721967 on unit, did not resolve the issue. Put motor on due to motor pulley squeal but new motor has a loud electrical hum and is not a good part. Eventually determined gearcase at fault and found seized washplate, unable to remove with GChammer tool. Ordering parts to replace gearcase to repair squeal. Arrived on site for a dryer WED8500DC1 not starting. Incoming power is correct and the tfuse is good. Found an f4e2 error stored for not sensing the heater. Both lines from the relays ohmed out to the heater so I replaced the control wpw10739349. Unit is starting and heating now but has very restricted airfow. Advised to have the vents cleaned before using.
