Arrived on site for dryer tripping breaker. On inspection found the installers connected Neutral to the ground. I fixed the issue. Explain why the Neutral could not be connected to the ground. The unit heated to 200? with no issues. No parts installed.

Arrived on site for unit with no power. On inspection the outlet had 123vac. Gain access to the back of the unit and found no power at the compressor. "Arrived on site for range tripping breaker when both cooktop and oven are on at random times. On arrival found 248v(L1-L2), 124.1v(L1-N), 124.2v(L2-N), 0v(N-Grnd). Found no grounding failure In harness or range heating parts. I found when all 4 burners and oven were activated the amp draw would reach 37.7amps. Found unit could run without tripping breaker when it was cooler outside and breaker wasnt yet overheated. "Arrived on site to follow up on dryer with long dry times. I spoke with the head of maintenance who walked me through everything they have done. Both maintenance and construction have inspected the vent with both a camera, and snake and verified there are no restrictions in the venting. I spoke with the resident on site who said even when they run timed, after about 15 mins the unit shuts off, console off like the cycle was cancelled. SS verified on the first visit that the unit was getting too hot and tied it to the venting. Since venting seems good, I'm ordering the thermistor, cycling thermostat, console and control. On return visit we need to call tech line, and likely start with the cycling thermostat until unit gets to proper temps and does not shut off. Something appears to be causing unit to overheat / shut off. "Spoke with customer in regards to dryer still taking several cycles to dry. Customer says it's heating fine, and they have contacted property managers who submitted ticket to whirlpool in regards to bad venting. I called the property management company and clarified that we do not clean vents, and they need to contact a vent cleaning company directly, as this is a housing / maintenance issue, and not a warranty or normal repair issue. No action needs to be taken since the dryer is working as designed, property management needs to have someone out to clean vents. Call completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose microwave that is sparking when in use. Examined HV system and found evidence of sparking coming from the transformer sheath to the diode. Unit has a large grease / oil buildup, which soaked into the sheath and allowed it to spark. Replaced diode and relocated the transformer wire away from the diode. Reassembled and tested. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking water from the filter. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was gushing out water from the filter area every time that they were dispensing water and was still leaking even when it was not dispensing water. Check both that she had turned the water off to the unit. I did confirm the customer complaint and found the filter head damaged. I replaced the filter head and tested the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven not completing preheat. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the unit control panel display which showed the unit not in use, but the display would go blank and come back on showing the manufacturer name. I cycled power to the unit and placed it in diagnostics showing the error code F6E0-HMI miscommunication. Due to the history with this unit having this error code, I contacted techline and spoke to Joe and advised of the history, my findings, and the error code present. Joe researched the units WiFi connection and asked for the SAID number. I provided the number to Joe and he advised the number doesnt exist. Joe recommended replacing the control panel and reconnecting it to WiFi through the customers app on their phone and if it continued to fail to contact the Whirlpool WiFi Team to correct. Joe provided SR#7739577854. I removed and replaced the control panel and the customer deleted their old account and recreated an new account for the new SAID. Once the unit was connected to WiFi through the app, the unit continued to fail as the previous panel. I recommended the customer contact the WiFi Team and provided their number to my customer. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher displaying an F8E4. The customer had the breaker turned off when I arrived. I powered the machine up and the drain pump never came on. I confirmed and cleared the error. I checked the drain pan and it still had some water in it but not enough to activate the float switch. I removed the water and ran the machine thru two service cycles. The machine never leaked any water. I found the door gasket good and no sign of water trails around the door. At this time the machine works as designed. I found out the customer has a water softener and I went over detergent use with them and explained they needed to watch for sudsing during the wash cycle and they might need to change detergents or the amount of detergent being used. There was no rinse aid being used. I went over using rinse aid and adjusting the strength through the control if needed. Call complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED.

"Arrived onsite for a washer that turned on by itself. I found the drain pump turning on with the machine empty. I found an F1E1, F8E1, & F3E1 stored error codes. I could cancel out the pump but it would start back up after a minute with the pressure hose disconnected from the control. I replaced the control and ran a calibration and service cycle. Arrived onsite for dishwasher for no operation. I ran error codes and found F8E1 code present. I ran a test cycle and found the dishwasher not filling with water. I checked the water supply under the sink and found it to be turned off. I turned the water back on and it is now washing as designed. I went over use and care with customer and answered any questions they had. Used customer instruct. Call complete. No parts installed. No water leaks present at time of service.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not dispensing water. The customer stated the refrigerator has almost stopped cooling in the RC and everything in the top of the FC has started thawing out. I found the evaporator fan has failed with 123VAC to it and cold air migrated thru the return in the liner and froze the water reservoir. I defrosted the water reservoir and the dispenser is working as designed. I shoved a towel the tenant gave me in the return on the RC side to stop the reservoir from freezing. Returning tech needs to remove the towel when the fan is replaced. Ordering WP2315549 evaporator fan. RS for Mon 7/29/2024.; ordrng 1 WP2315549 (Evaporator fan)

Arrived onsite for a vent hood with the lights dim. The customer stated the lights that shine down on the cooktop are dim. I removed the right LED and inspected it finding nothing wrong. I removed the left LED and the lights went completely out. On further inspection I found the black wire in the harness at the molex that connects to the LED molex connector with the pin not snapped in the molex. I corrected the pin stops and snapped it in the molex and reconnected the LED. I tested the lights and all are working as designed. Call complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED.

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher with the door not closing correctly. I found the door closing properly and I tested the machine in a diagnostics cycle. I found out the customer had this machine in an exterior kitchen and two Miele machines inside and it was one of them that the door was not closing correctly on. This machine is working as designed and there were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED.

"Arrived onsite for a dishwasher with water remaining in the machine at the end of a cycle. I talked with the customer and found out the machine is draining but he stated it wasnt drying correctly and water remains on the dishes. He also stated the door gasket comes out on the left bottom side. I found the door gasket not snapped in all the way and I fixed it. I found the customer not using rinse aid and I explained it can take up to 90 cycles using rinse aid before they start seeing improvement in the drying process. I also explained the bowls, cups, or glasses with concave tops would never completely dry. I went over detergent and rinse aid use with the customer and went over cleaning the filters. At this time the machine is working as designed. No water leaks were present at the time of service. Call complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED."

Arrived on site for refrigerator with water dripping out of the dispenser after getting water. Informed the customer that this was normal for this model. I called and spoke with Rob at Wp Tech line and he said it was normal to have a couple of drops after you get water out of the unit. Customer is worried about her or her husband slipping on the water and falling. No parts were installed during service. 7739567181

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and found the compressor not running. I came back to the compressor and found the compressor attempt to kick on and kick off within 20 seconds. I put a new start device on it and found the same issue. I replaced the compressor, dryer, and access valve. I charged the unit up with nitrogen and found a leak between the Yoder loop and condenser from the factory weld. I fixed the weld and charge the unit up with nitrogen again. I found pressure hold for 20 minutes. I vacuumed down the unit to -31 psi and found pressures hold again. I charged the unit up with 45 g of R600 refrigerant and tested the unit. I found the unit cooling and operating as designed. Call complete. WPW10143759, W11506635, and W11547313."

Arrived on site for venthood not working. On inspection found the power board had shorted out on to the frame of the vent hood an it burnt the fuse stand off the board. Got another board from a another unit and installed it. It power up but the fan is not working. You can hear the relay clicking as you change speeds. There is power to the fan. "Ive been on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the housing and filter cap and tested the unit. I found the unit dispensing water as designed. The customer advised that since the previous repair, the icemaker has been working, and the temperatures have seemingly cooled down properly. The unit is now working and operating as designed. Customer provided video which sounded like compressor noise was louder but nothing to irregularly. Changed defrost cycle from adaptive to fixed due to issue may be defrost related, sound only happens every few days. Arrived on site to inspect unit for damaged glass on cooktop. Replaced cooktop(W11255351). Tested all burners and unit is now working as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for tripping breaker as soon as unit is plugged in. Found ground connected to neutral in terminal block. Isolated ground to ground and neutral to neutral. Unit now working as designed. No parts replaced at this time. Job complete.
