Upon arrival customer stated unit began making crackling noises during operation and smoke was observed coming from the upper right corner of the microwave. Removed unit from cavity and gained access to internal components for inspection. Found high-voltage diode shorted, resulting in arcing and the reported symptoms. Based on findings, recommend replacing capacitor, magnetron, and diode to ensure complete repair of the high-voltage circuit. Contacted SAFETY to document findings under case number 23719289. Arrived on site for an electric wall oven model WOED7027PZ00 that is showing a fan error code. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the machine worked one time and then it started saying there was a lower fan under-speed. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (lower speed fan under-speed) error code. I tested both blowers and found the lower blower not activating on low speed, but would work on high speed. I checked voltage and found proper voltage going to the blower. I replaced the lower blower W11598119 and tested both ovens at 350 degrees. The unit reached preheat and is working ajd operating as designed. Call complete.

According to customer-provided photos, the fresh food evaporator was completely frozen over, with ice extending beyond the evaporator cover area. Arrived on site for a refridgerator model ED5GTGXNQ00 that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the freezer freezes at the bottom, but the upper freezer doesnt, and the refrigerator is not cold. I confirmed the customers complaint and found evidence of a defrost issue in the freezer. I checked the compressor and found it pulling 1 A, indicating a good compressor. I unplugged the unit and gained access to the defrost timer. I checked resistance going through the bimetal and defrost heater and found 23.5 ohms of resistance, indicating good wiring, a good defrost bimetal, and heater. I found a service pointer referencing this issue (8178769) and replaced the defrost timer/control 4388932 and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose a vent hood with a complaint of the fan not operating. Verified that the unit was receiving power and found the hood lights functioning properly. Activated the fan and could hear the motor humming, indicating the motor was energized but the blower wheel was not rotating.Removed the blower assembly for further inspection and found a loose screw lodged in the blower wheel, preventing it from turning freely. Arrived on site for refrigerator WRT549SZDM06 making noise when running. Examined unit and traced noise to condenser fan blade rubbing the frame during to the angle of the motor. The motor already has the foam gasket installed from SP W11751131, but is still contacting the frame. I added a small shim between the lower right corner of the motor and frame. This adjusted the angle to keep the blade from hitting. If issue returns we will need to install a new frame and motor. Repair completed.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator KRSC700HPS06 with a cracked liner. I inspected the liner and found it was a seam that looked like a crack from the wrong angle. Also noticed condensation on the RC door gasket due to the gasket not seated correctly. I reinstalled the gasket and used adhesive wp279368 from truck stock to seal it properly. No other issues or leaks detected while on site.

Inspected household water supply and found shutoff valve in the closed position. Opened valve and retested, water flow restored; however, pressure remained extremely weak. Removed water filter and retested, full water pressure restored to both the dispenser and ice maker fill circuit. Determined restricted water filter was causing low flow condition. Advised customer to replace water filter to restore normal operation. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete.

The customer advised that the unit does make ice, but it makes slabs of ice that dont get dumped correctly and clog the ice dispenser. I confirmed the custimers complaint and found several broken slabs of ice inside of the ice container. I pulled out the ice maker and found a small slab inside of the icemaker. I unplugged the machine, pulled out the icemaker, and was dumping the contents. I found several ice cubes would not drop. After trying to remove the cubes, I found calcium scale inside of the ice tray, causing the ice cubes to stick and potentially overfill the tray due to the cubes not being removed. I replaced the icemaker W11557001 and tested the unit. I found the icemaker harvest and fill as designed and did not notice any excess leaking from the valve. I advised the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. No leaks were present during service.

Arrived on site for refrigerator WRS571CIHZ04 with issue of not cool. Upon arrival, inspected unit and found is cooling but not correctly. Ice container is empty. Freezer is completely filled with food products . The evaporator fan is on but there is no air flow. I Found entire evaporator above heater is covered in ice. I thawed entire evaporator using steamer. I tested all components and are good. I believe there was an airflow restriction that caused issue. Customer will monitor unit. Job complete

Dishwasher ADFS2524RZ0 not washing dishes properly. Ran cycle and noticed water not spraying from spray arms properly. Lower spray arm had small split and upper spray arm was plugged. Washer NTW4519JW2. Arrived on site. Ran diagnostics and found F2E1 motor control fault. Removed and replaced control board w11607637. Recalibrated washer and ran auto tests. Filled agitated drained spun. Advised customer unit is not designed for extra large comforters and heavy blankets. Smaller thin blankets can be washed. Start button must be pressed twice: once to activate machine, second time to start cycle. Holding button cancels cycle. Customer does not speak English but says he understands. No leaks detected.

Arrived on site to diagnose dryer making a loud scraping and rubbing noise during operation. Ran the unit and confirmed the noise was present while the drum was rotating. Performed inspection of the drum, support components, and interior cavity. Found the drum damaged and out of alignment, causing it to rub against the cabinet/cavity during operation and create the noise. No additional issues were found at this time. Dryer will require a new drum to complete the repair. Part has been ordered. Office to contact customer and schedule a return visit once the part is available. Arrived on site to inspect washer WTW4816FW3 noises. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged and plugged it in and immediately the drain pump turned on. I was able to get the control to clear by holding the start button down for approximately 10 seconds. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F3E1-pressure sensor fault and F1E1-main control failure. I cleared the codes and attempted to perform a diagnostics test, but the unit shut down and the drain pump came on. Per service pointer W11766193 for the F3E1 error code, I removed and replaced the main control only to find the new conteol was DOA. I advised the office (PARTS) and am ordering another control and CNOTE-RETURNING TECH TO CHECK DATE CODE ON CONTROL and scheduled return service for 06/05/26. Returning tech to check date code before installing. Once control is installed, unit must be calibrated and tested and note that any other repairs would be serviced as out of warranty. Arrived on site for dishwasher KDTS424SPS0 with issue of Door wont close, little bar at top wont retract. Upon arrival, inspected unit and confirmed issue. Washer NTW4519JW2 arrived on site. Not working properly. Verified pressure systems, fault, and drain pump running continuously. Removed and replaced control board w11607637. Ran recalibration. Ran washer through auto test and it filled, agitated, drained, and spun. Washers working as intended. No leaks detected.

UXT5236BDS2 arrived on-site for venthood, making a loud noise and motor not working properly verified issue with motor Im not spending at full speed control console is fine. Removed and replaced motor also notice that the little metal rods that are mounted underneath the fan blade that keep the grease trap from hitting the fan blade will bend in warp due to heat coming up from the cooktop area, I adjusted these as well, so they no longer rub in fan. Customer stated that they adjusted those before and it keeps on happening. Customer asked if we could replace the venthood, I told him we could not that, is something that he would have to contact whirpool with and talk to them about replacement. all I can do is fix the issue and document. Cx insisted on replacement of vent hood. Advised again that is something he has to talk with Whirlpool about. And I cannot replace the vent hood. Vent hood is working as intended. No noise or coming from venthood.

Arrived on site for a washer MHW6630HC2 not starting. Found the unit getting power but the console wasnt working. Inspected the control and found it not blinking. Installed the control w11322883 and ran a quick cycle. No other issues or leaks detected.

Arrived on site to diagnose complaint of unit not heating properly. Tested unit upon arrival and found the unit was heating during initial operation. Customer stated the heating issue is intermittent, with the unit sometimes heating normally and other times failing to heat. Performed an extended operational test and observed the control relay clicking erratically during operation, indicating an intermittent control failure. Based on testing, the unit will require replacement of the main control board and potentially the door switch assembly if further issues are present after control replacement.Unable to proceed with parts lookup or ordering because the model and serial tag are completely missing/unreadable from the unit. Without a valid model and serial number, the correct replacement parts cannot be verified. Advised customer of findings and limitations. No repairs performed at this time. Arrived to unit 262 for loud noise. Powered unit on loud noise during compressor run time. Removed cover,adjusted cooper and steel lines added sound pads to prevent issues,reassembled unit ran diagnostic noise no longer present during compressor run time,power cycled unit compressor powered on unit working as designed. Arrived onsite for refrigerator KRFF507HPS03 not making ice. Ran test on ice maker and found E5 error, bad thermistor. Ice box temp was sufficient, verifiedwith PR. Fill tube line was frozen again. Disassembled and found filltube heater lifted and not allowing tub to heat up properly. Replaced ice maker W11658 due to error and fill tube heater W11087201. Tested and unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site for a washer NTW4516FW4 draining continuously. I verified the issue and the serial number. Replaced the control w11603811 and ran a calibration cycle. Also ran a full factory cycle without any issues or leaks.

Arrived onsite for thermal fracture in the cooktop glass. WFES3030RS0. Replaced cooktop w11719704. Unit is now repaired and able to be safely used. Advised customer on repair.

Electric dryer WED6720RR0. Customer reported breaker tripping, sometimes after 30 minutes or 10-15 minutes. Unplugged dryer and verified outlet: 116V L1-neutral, 118V L2-neutral, 236V L1-L2. Neutral and ground checks good. 4-prong cord continuity good. Reinstalled and confirmed terminal block power: 118V L1-neutral, 118V L2-neutral, 236V L1-L2. Ran dryer 10 minutes; max 7.2A at terminal block. Heater cycled multiple times, never exceeding 7.5A. Advised customer of likely breaker issue possibly from wiring or breaker itself; contact builder for inspection. Dryer operating as intended. Called Whirlpool safety and documented findings.
