"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that the icemaker was working until the past couple days and then it stopped completely making ice. I took temperatures of the refrigerator and freezer sections and found the refrigerator at 37?F and the freezer at 18?F. I found no evidence of a defrost issue within the unit. I checked all gaskets and found tears on the gaskets and the refrigerator door was seemingly partially open causing cold air to leak out of the refrigerator section. I checked that center mullion and found moisture buildup on the center mullion and the refrigerator door gaskets. I also found that the mullion was not creating a proper seal and was loose causing the doors to have a little play when closed. I also found evidence of lint build up all over the condenser coil. I remove the lint from the condenser coil and Im ordering the gaskets, mullion, and pivot block and will return with priorly sent parts. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not agitating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the same thing happened as last time. They advised that the unit will start to wash, but then will not agitate and will quit the cycle early. I ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and confirmed the whole basket was spinning during the agitation portion of the cycle. I I gained access underneath and found the cam melted at the top causing the issue. I went to replace the gearcase and found the agitator completely seized up on the driveshaft. I broke off the agitator and replaced the gear case, agitator, cam, and capacitor. I tested the unit and found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. Upon further inspection I found that the incoming water temperature was too low (80 degrees ) This results in the heater possibly going into lockout. "Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was making a loud noise when spinning. I tested the unit on high speed spin and could not duplicate any noise. Customer showed me video of a loud screech noise that was alternating frequency up and down repeatedly. Noise doesnt sound like gearcase noise at all. I disassembled the bottom end and found nothing abnormal in the rotor, stator and slider. I did notice the unit is on a leak tray with ridges, and if the basket gets too low it can sit on those ridges and can make some noise if the shield is pressed into the rotor. I lifted the unit a bit and ran again on delicates. Could not get noise to happen. Advised customer to run a few cycles to allow some time for parts to break in, and follow up with additional video if noise returns. If it does we need to return with rotor, stator, gearcase and slider. No parts used since issue could not be duplicated. Call completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose microwave that is throwing F1E5 error for transformer unresponsive. I tested the unit and heard abnormal sounds coming from the mag area / wave guide. I pulled the top wave guide cover and checked it out with a borescope camera. I found some abnormal spots that look almost like peeling plastic, and don't look like they are just discoloration. Called tech line, SR7739767733 who said to proceed with a mag / inverter repair, and to see if we can get a closer picture or scrape any of the spots. Ordering wave guide cover, inverter and mag. "WFE525S0JS4 Arrived to inspect breaker tripping. The machine had already had the element service and heating regimen, but tripped afterwards at an unacceptable amount. Removal of the lower cover and accessing the terminal, I found the cord had every conductor intricately wrapped, likely causing immense and unwanted electrical interference, causing subsequent breaker tripping. I corrected the issue and performed a complete preheat to 500F and allowed additional cycling time. Operational test good."

When removing drip pan found sudsy water present which activated the overfill switch. Replaced pump and motor assembly (W11545764), tested unit, unit now drains properly. Advised customer on the uses of pods. Advised customer to use liquid soap due to soft water system in the house. Also advised that 1-2 tbsp of soap is all the unit needs. When using too much soap unit will oversuds and trip the overfill switch. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making a beeping noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit worked great after the last repair for about two weeks and then it made a beeping noise when he went to dispense ice. He advised that it was beeping at him for quite a while, and was flickering lights on the user interface. He stated that it stopped after a few hours and has been working fine over the past few days since he called in. However, he wanted to have it checked because it sounded a lot like it did previously. I tested the ice and water functions and could not get the issue to replicate. I ran the unit through diagnostics and checked all components. I found all components working and operating as designed without replicating the failure. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Joe SR# 7739769439. He had me specifically run back through the DC loads to ensure that there was not a DC short. We ran all fans, lights, ice maker, and damper control without a loss of power. He advised that it could be an electrical supply issue, but he could not fault the machine because all the components were working and operating without causing a failure. He advised that generally speaking, if there was a DC Short within the unit, it would happen every time one specific component was working. He advised to have the customer take a video of what is happening and try to reset power to see if it may be an issue with his electrical supply. He advised to make no repair at this time. "Arrived on site for a dryer that is taking a while to get the drum to turn. Inspected unit and works area. The customer advised that she can hear the motor running, but that the drum can take anywhere from a few seconds to 30 seconds to actually start tumbling. I test the dryer and found the drum immediately start turning with no clothes in it. I tested the dryer, holding the door switch and trying to provide some resistance against the drum. I found the belt slipping across the drum, causing the issue. I checked the belt and found that the belt was completely stripped and did not have enough grip to continue to turn the basket. Ordering the belt, rollers, idler pulley, and will return with previously sent parts. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making abnormal sounds during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit makes screeching noises during agitation and spin. He showed me a video of the sound that it makes during operation. I did confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle. I could not replicate the sound coming from the washer. I cant access underneath and found all parts. Were in good shape. I started wiggling the cam from side to side and found a slight screeching noise coming from the top of the driveshaft. I remove the agitator and found the spanner not completely loose from the drive block retainer, causing the dry block to scrape against the basket when the basket moved from side to side. I tightened the spanner nut down onto the drive block to create a better connection and test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. I had the customer run a load of clothes in the washer and we found the unit agitating and spinning as designed with no abnormal noises present. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not dispensing crushed ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not dispensed crushed ice, but also does not really dispense ice either. They advised that they may get one or two cubes that come out but it will not dispense any further ice. I found that the model number was different than what was originally sent over and checked with claims to make sure that we could get it covered. I was advised that the model information sent over was similar enough that they would update the information with the extended warranty. I checked the impeller on the dispenser motor shaft and found that the impeller was completely stripped, causing the issue. Ordering all parts needed for repair in the office. Arrived onsite for a range with the door not opening. The tenant stated that the door open but it makes a weird pop. I found the left side passive hinge bad causing the door to drop and make the noise. I replaced the hinge and tested the door. The door is working as designed. Call complete. INSTALLED WPW10299227.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is overheating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they have to unplug the unit when the unit is not in use because the unit will heat when its in the off position. I gained access to the element and found the element was grounding against the housing. I replaced the element and checked all other components. I found all other components within range and showing that they were working properly. I reassembled the unit and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. "Arrived on site to diagnose noisy dryer. Ran unit and confirmed screeching from interior of unit. Disassembled and found the belt tensioner pulley was almost completely seized. I removed the pulley and wiped down the support, and replaced 4 rollers as well. Reassembled and verified proper operation. Parts used - 4392067"

On arrival verified complaint of some lights not working. Spoke to SC and waived diag. Inspected unit and found bad led modules. Replaced FC and some RC. Found top right RC module on side wall is foamed in and unable to be removed. Module cracked and liner was pulling and not giving free. Spoke to TL Drew 7739766998 and was found to be NR. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the dryer, compressor, and access valve and charged the unit up with 250 psi of nitrogen. I found no leaks detected for 20 minutes. I vacuumed down in the unit -31 psi and found pressures. Hold again for another 10 minutes. I charged the unit up with 6 ounces of R134a refrigerant. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is draining when it feels. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he may have sold his issue as when he initially installed it, he had the drain hose hooked up to a garden hose that was laying on the ground. he advised that when the unit would fill, the washer would drain out through the garden hose. I did stated that you looked at the installation instructions and saw that he was supposed to raise up drain hose anywhere from 36 inches to 44 inches high and once he did that, the unit has been working ever since. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I found that the customer does have the unit hooked up to a garden hose that runs about 30 feet long. I did explain to the customer that that can cause issues with the slow drain as well as potentially a siphoning condition once the unit stops draining. The customer stated that he is working on his house and that it will be installed with normal installation once the renovation is done but it was still a few months away from being completed. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I told the customer that the unit is working as its designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"WFES3030RS0 Arrived to inspect breaker tripped. I found the breaker tripped only at the point the oven was turned on. Removal of the lower cover and accessing the terminal, I found the cord had the ground wire wrapped around all of the other conductors several times, likely causing and unwanted electrical interference, causing subsequent breaker tripping. I corrected the issue and performed a complete preheat to 500F and allowed additional cycling time. Operational test good."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not drying clothing. Upon further inspection, I found the control panel display showing error code F6E1-UI/ACU communication error. I cleared the code and tested the unit and while testing, I found some of the selection indicator lights on but the selections werent being used at the time. Also found a large amount of moisture inside the control panel display (photo) and indicator lights. I removed the top panel and found a large amount of moisture built up on the underside of the panel (photo). While testing, I attempted to cancel the cycle and the UI failed to respond and after several attempts, it finally turned off. I found a large amount of moisture inside the unit and on the inner door glass (photos). I retested again and found the unit heating, but its not getting hot enough and I could see the element illuminating, but not as bright telling me the coils are not getting properly energized. I tested airflow to the unit and both tests passed. Due to the amount of moisture built up inside the control panel UI (photo) and it not responding properly (F6E1), I am ordering the control panel and will return with all prescreened parts. Scheduled return service for 08/27/24. Returning tech to replace the control panel and element and clean out the inside of the unit from lint and any water inside. No parts installed.; ordrng 1 W11351728 (Console)"

"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found the recirculating pump not functioning. I removed and replaced the pump and retested and the new pump is defective. I tested voltage to the recirculating pump and found 12VAC. I am ordering the recirculating pump and scheduled return service for 08/27/24. Unit left turned off and no water leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11542867 (Recirculating pump) and 1 W11034363 (Main control) and 1 W11126268 (Pump harness)"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning and not draining all of the water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F8E1-long fill and F2E3-control failure. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. While testing, I found the unit would not stop filling with water and once the tub reach approximately 1/3 full, I cancelled the test and the drain pump came on,but failed to drain all of the water out. I gained access to the main control and found the water level pressure tube not connected to the main control (photo). I reconnected the tube and attempted to calibrate the unit and the drain pump came on and when the unit went to calibrate, it shut down and the panel flashed the F3E2 error code-water level sensor failure. I blew through the sensor tube and attempted to recalibrate and it continued to shut down and show the code. I removed and replaced the main control (F2E3) and blew through the sensor tube again to clear it and calibrated the unit. I then placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11513246"

"Arrived on site to inspect gas range leaking gas. Upon further inspection, the customer advised they had left the home and forgot to turn the oven off and when they returned, they could smell a gas odor in the home. Customer had the gas company check the home and was told the range was the problem. Using my gas leak detector sniffer, I tested the cooktop burners and found no gas leaks present. I tested the oven on Bake at 350 degrees and allowed it to cycle several times and did not find any indications of a gas leak. I pulled the unit out and placed the sniffer at all gas lines and connections and no indications of a leak. Using my liquid leak detector, I tested all connections including the gas line connection at the wall and found no leaks. I checked the gas shut off valve in the cabinets to the right side of the unit and found no indications of a leak. I tested the sniffer by turning the front left burner on without flame and it indicated gas odors being emitted from the burner. Once I turned the flame on and allowed it to burn off the gas, there was no indications of a leak from the sniffer. Customer was present during testing and I advised the unit is operating as designed and no leaks were found. I recommended the customer use the unit as it is safe for use. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. No parts installed."

Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not starting cycle. Upon further inspection placed unit into diagnostics and observed error 3-2 and 8-1. I found that the unit did not have incoming water. I cleared the codes. The customer informed me that he had to shut off his hot water in the previous days. I was able to verify that this was the direct cause for the dishwasher not starting a cycle by turning on the cold water supply to the dishwasher. Dishwasher is operating as designed and customer is going to get his hot water supply fixed. No parts used no water leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite to replace leaking tub. Replaced tub and transferred over parts. Also gave mod/sn tag to owner as it would not directly stick back onto the new tub frame. Tested and unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived onsite for unit not reaching temperature above 375 and not maintaining temperature. Ran cycle at 400 degrees. At402 degrees the internal light turned on and door opened slightly. Door would not close without a push until temperature was under 400 degrees. Called tech line and spoke to Jake SR#7739763037. Recommended replacement Latch assembly. Also found door opens past 90 degrees. Also ordering hinges. Set to return Aug 27.; ordrng 1 W11029221 (Latch) and 1 W11568941 (Lef doo hinge) and 1 W11568813 (Right door hinge)

Arrived onsite for unit with no power. On arrival inspected unit. Found breaker tripped. Cycled power and tested. In diagnostics ran broil element and energized with no issues. Ran bake element and energized with no issues. Canceled and ran a bake cycle at 400 degrees and cycled with no issues. Customer set a timer for 30 minutes to allow for burn off. If symptoms persist recommend builder replaced breaker with a higher tolerance and less of a nuisance tripping for example GE 40-50amp breaker. No component has shorted to cause breaker to trip. Job complete. No parts replaced.

"Arrived on site for gets too hot upon arrival, customer states that clothes shrink and very little lint. Upon arrival test polarity and is 349 from L1-L2. Removed rear panel to inspect element and is good. All other components test good as well. Ran temperature test using thermocouple at end of exhaust tube. Test on high , medium and low setting. Got High 160,117, Med 156,113, Low 152,109. Contacted tech line for assistance. Spoke with Leon. Explained issue and test results.
