Arrived on site for a dishwasher that wont drain. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the filter cap had fallen off underneath and they didnt know how to reinstall it. I installed the filter cap and attempted to drain the dishwasher. Found the dishwasher would not drain. Removed the drain hose off of the Garbage disposal and found no water coming through the drain hose. Use the shop vac to remove all excess water as out of the dishwasher. Gained access to the drain pump and found a piece of a bowl or a cup impeding the drain pump impeller. Removed the obstruction and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is not dispensing fabric softener. I ran the unit with fabric softener in the dispenser and found that it did dispense all of it I replaced the cold water valve and tested the unit and found that it is now working. Upon further inspection I found F0e2 overuse code stored i cleared the code and ran a quick wash cycle and found unit operating as designed. I advised the customer to cut down on how much detergent there are using

"NED4655EW1 Arrived to inspect heating/drying issue. I found the unit would heat and operated as expected with the venting disconnected, but when the vent was reconnected, airflow was severely reduced. I was able to look into the part of the venting that rose in the wall and found it moderately clear. The issue above the rooms wall level or at the vent cap and will need to be cleared at those points. I advised the customer of my findings and to not use the unit until vent cleaning has been completed."

Upon arrival I checked the valves and found the operating as designed but the flames would dance a little bit and sound like a blowtorch at times. I checked the reg. And found that it was sent correctly for the type of gas the customer is using. Tech recommended that with the parts that were replaced, that should have cleared any issues. Tech is recommending unit be placed on its own dedicated breaker and non GFCI. "Arrived on site for a range that has uneven cooking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will still turn off her oven when using the kitchen timer and that the temperature in your oven fluctuates depending on the cycle being used. I ran the unit through a 350?F bake cycle and found the unit cycling between 347?F and 330?F indicating an average temperature of 339?F. I tested the kitchen timer button throughout most of the cycling and could not get the unit to turn off. The customer also explained that every now and again, the unit will flash red screen and rock cycle itself back on. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR # 7737090152. He advised that besides a little oven temperature calibration, that he saw no no issues with this unit, and that the unit would not flash a red screen, but it would be a blue. He said that generally this will happen if the customer is having some kind of electrical power, surge, or loss of power. He advised that without us being able to replicate this issue, the unit is working an operating as designed. He advised to make no repair at this time. Call complete."

On arrival verified complaint of unit doors not level. Found cabinet is wobbling and doors not level. Leveled unit but doors still not equal and unit still wobbles called TL 7738185842 up due to unit sealing correctly and working complaint is considered cosmetic and advised to shim back right corner. Customer did not like that option. TL and I advised customer to call customer service. Hinges are perfectly level and door is sealing. Customer is going to call Customer service for cosmetic complaint.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not making enough ice. Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of ice in the bin and two gallon sized ziplock bags full of ice in the FC section. I tested temps in the FC=7 degrees and RC=35 degrees on manufacturer recommended settings of 0/37 and the deli temps=38 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked the FC thermistor reading=5 degrees; RC thermistor=37 degrees; deli thermistor=37 degrees. Customer advised that their vegetables are freezing as well. I checked the deli drawers and found the vegetables wet inside their baggies. I tested the deli damper in diagnostics and it is operating as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and made recommendations for use and care, as well as, food placement in the unit. The unit is opening as designed. Arrived onsite and found unit not operating properly due to polarity at the outlet being reversed causing the module to not recognize flame and stop ignition. Advised customer on findings. All checks good.

"Arrived on site for a washer that is not draining properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit works fine on almost every cycle besides delicates. On delicates, the unit never spins the clothes out and they come out dripping wet. I checked the delicate cycle and found the soon selection on low spin. The customer advised that you cant do a high speed spin on delicates because youll stretch them out. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran and operated as designed. Customer advised that when she washes two rugs or two hoodies together that they never come out, fully spun out. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Brandon SR# 7738173823. He advised that based on all the information, the issue would have to be with the loading portion of the unit as the customer is only throwing in 1 to 2 items during certain loads. He advised that it will cause off-balance issues which will contribute towards the unit not completely spinning out properly. If I was, there is no Known issues with the programming and that the customer will just need to adjust their spin speed on their delicate cycle as their delicate cycle setting is on low spin. He advised to make no repairs. Call complete."

Arrived on site replaced defective doors checked door seals good.

"Arrived onsite for unit tripping breaker. Ran test and isolated components. Ran elements individually and had no issues. Once heated ran normal bake cycle at 400 degrees and unit completed preheat and cycled properly maintaining 400 degrees. Notified customer that current GFCI is tripping. Recommend standard breaker or if GFCI is required, using a GE GFCI breaker that has been found to have less nuisance tripping."

On arrival verified complaint of not making ice. Found ice maker is physically broken as previous ice maker on motor plastics causing issues inside housing. Checked temp and found 10 degrees. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the unit was turned off at the UI. Customer provided a photo of the RC evap engulfed in ice. I found the RC thermistor was not reading correctly and once I had the RC evap cover removed I found the thermistor not properly installed. I removed and replaced the thermistor and secured it to the cap tube line with foil tape and a ziptie. I placed the unit ma in diagnostics and checked the defrost time in test 7 and found it set to am96 hour run time before defrost. I changed the time to 8 hours and advised the customer of my findings and repairs. Recommended they monitor the unit and if they continue to have issues, I would recommend replacing the UI as it controls the defrost. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite to install properly ordered parts upon arrival I installed the new control and Ui and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not turning on. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and it failed to turn on. I tested voltage at the outlet and got 125V. Tested voltage at the main harness to the power cord and got 125V. Tested voltage at the timer, start switch, door switch and disconnected the motor and checked voltage at the molex and got 125V at all check points. I removed and replaced the timer and start switch and retested and still nothing. I placed my testing leads at the harness connector at the motor and tested and t(e unit came on. I found the molex connector to the motor is bad. I removed and replaced the harness and retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed"

I suspect the heater was in lockout mode and after running the service test mode and resetting the control, the issue was resolved. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that has low ice production. Upon arrival I performed and temp test in the ice box and found it at 2?F temp set to -3?F and the temps in the fr at -3?F. I tested the water dispenser and found the it is operating as designed I ran the ice maker water fill test and it didnt fill with water. I gained access to the icemaker fill tube heater and found that it was not attached to the tube which can cause it to freeze up and block water flow and causing the water valve to fail as well. I and ordering the heater and water valve because the valve that I had onsite was defective. And set return for the 01/12/24; ordrng 1 W11482383 (Valve) and 1 W11087201 (Fill tube heater)

The customer advised that she was very unhappy with us because she doesnt feel like the washer put enough water to get the clothes clean. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Found the unit running upon entry, but found no temperature in the freezer or refrigerator sections. Unplugged the unit and opened up the freezer evaporator Found a hissing sound coming from the evaporator area. Gained access to the evaporator and found the hissing coming from the cap tube up near the top where it goes into the cabinet. I took a video of the sound and found the leak coming from the cap tube inside of the cabinet. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Rich SR# 7738176486. He had me send him the video of the leak. He advised that based on the information, the unit would be sent to review and to let the customer know that Whirlpool would be in contact with the customer or myself depending on the next steps. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a nonfunctional ice maker. Upon a arrival I got the keys from the office and the when to the apartment and knocked on the door several time, I heated a dog barking in the apartment but no one came to the door. I used the key but the privacy/ top lock was locked and I could not get in to work on the unit I knocked again and still no one came to the boor. "Arrived on site for washer leaking. Says it seems to leak when off more than during cycle. Found f2e1. Unit ran through diagnostics without any issue. Removed control panel,and inspected water valve. No evidence of leak. Removed rotor. Found evidence of oil from transmission. Was unable to removed screw from agitator for removal. It will need to be broken off. Will need new agitator, gearcase, colder, clutch . Reset for fri; ordrng 1 W10752283 (Agitator)"

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed sump and motor. Replaced the sump and motor. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good.

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is flashing an F7 E5 (shifter fault) error code. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and found that error code as well as an F7 E9 (locked rotor) error code. Around the unit through diagnostics and found that the shifter would not shift the slider to engage the basket to spin. Checked underneath and found the slider broken causing the issue. Replaced the slider and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed parts. Tested water pressure and found when water turned on RO system pump kicks on causing pressure to exceed 120psi. Unable to get accurate psi reading as gauge does not go pass 120psi. Recommend installing pressure regulator. Ice maker completed diagnostics. Ice maker filled as designed. Arrived onsite for a dryer not working at all. We found L1 and neutral disconnected at the terminal block and arc marks on L1 at the cord. The neutral part of the terminal block was broken and the nut had fallen out and was no where to be found. Nothing else could be tested because of no power so nobody is sure if the unit was ever powered on. Ordering the washer control also for this reason and returning with all other prescreened parts. Arrived onsite for a dryer the is not working. Upon arrival I the customer advised me that it was working. The customer was not actually home but they spoke to me though their ring door bell.
