I monitored the unit and when the burner was to ignite again, the ignitor took just over 20 seconds to re-ignite the burner. I am ordering the ignitor and scheduled return service for 02/12/24. Arrived onsite for washer not dispensing water. On inspection ran the unit in diagnostics mode and it filled normally. Had the customer explain to me what the issue was. Arrived onsite for a MW that makes rattling noises when using the vent on high. Upon arrival I tested then unit and found this to be true. Upon further inspection I found the mounting screws loose. I tightened the up and found the noises went away. Upon opening as designed

Arrived onsite for gas leak. On inspection gain access to the regulator and saw that the pipe dope was not put on correctly. I pulled the gas line off and removed the adapter to. I put tape on the adapter and reinstalled. When I turn the gas back on it the leak was twice bad. I removed everything thats when I saw the fracture in the gas regulator. Installed new regulator and reconnected all the lines. No more gas leak any more.

Arrived onsite for a DW that will beep at time and not start. Upon arrival I ran an diagnostic test and found no codes. And the unit ran with no issues. I ran the unit in normal mode and the unit beeped as though it did not detect that the door is closed. Upon further inspection, customer had the unit operating with a load and found when it got to approximately 19-20 mins left on a Timed Dry cycle and the unit would shut off. Arrived onsite for a range with a knob that turns past off like it is stripped. I found the left rear burner knob to be the issue. Got an average of 331 on the low end and 359 on the high end, total cook average is 345. A five degree difference is within specifications. Cannot duplicate issue of overheating. Customer must know that anything thermometer other than a thermocouple cannot be used to calibrate unit. Dial type and infrared are the most common thermometers used to test ovens but cannot due to the way ovens heat cycle. Job complete"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont spin. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will start to fill but then when it goes to wash, the unit will run for a few minutes and then shut down and drain out the water. Advise the unit does not go through the spin cycle. Around the unit to diagnostics and found an F0 E3 (overload), F7 E1 (basket speed fault) and F7 E6 (motor open) error code. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found all tests, pass and diagnostics except for agitation. Found that they were in the unit was trying to agitate, it was spinning the whole basket. I checked underneath and checked the shifter. Found the shifter in good condition. Checked the cam, and found the cam broken on the top, indicating that the gearcase had dropped and broke the cam. I went ahead and replaced both gearcase and cam and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

"Ive been on site for a dryer that is not heating again. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found no heat coming from the dryer in a timed dry cycle. I checked voltage to the unit and found proper voltage and polarity. Disassembled the unit and found the thermal cut off open again. Checked the heater for continuity and found continuity across the heater terminals, but none across the heater to heater housing chassis. I visually inspected the heater and found no issues with the heater or sagging from the coils. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7738376659. He had me run a few tests and advised after one of the airflow tests that there is still a restriction in the venting. He advised to go ahead and replace the thermal cut off and the high limit thermostat, but that the customer is going to need to have their vents looked at again due to improper airflow movement. I replaced both parts and test of the unit. The unit is working operating as designed. I advised the customer to hold off on using the dryer until they have their venting company come back out or to run it without the vent hose attached and use another venting solution. Call complete."

I checked the garbage disposal and asked if the customer had that recently replaced. He advised that he had several months ago but couldnt remember the time line of that. I asked if they had ever used the dishwasher while he had the garbage disposal and he advise he didnt believe so. I checked the garbage disposal where the drain hose connects onto and found at the knockout punch had not been knocked through. I went ahead and knocked out the knockout punch and tested the dishwasher. Found the dishwasher draining and working as designed. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."

I reset the setting to the manufacturer recommended settings of 3 of 5 in both compartments and locked the UI as the customer does not use the dispensers. All components activated correctly and unit could be clearly heard draining into the sink. Operational test is good. Job complete no leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite and found unit with bad latch. Unable to complete a cycle. Replaced latch and calibrated. All checks good. Advised customer on repair.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed moisture strips, harness, and ACU. Installed parts, powered on unit and watched it run for 10 mins, unit is sensing properly, advised customer to monitor and if loads are a variety of different fabrics to use timed dry instead of sensing dry. Unit is running as designed, job complete."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. The customer verified that when the paddles for ice or water are pushed the UI does light up but it will not dispense either when it acts up. I replaced the UI for this. The customer stated the icemaker had stopped working and some stuff in the freezer had started thawing. I found the FC temp only at 17 degrees and the RC at 37 degrees. I explained to the customer this is the reason there was no ice. I found the left side of the baskets in the FC with frost build up on them and the evaporator cover with some ice blocking the lower vents. I found the coil with frost about 3/4 thick across the top of the coil. I explained this looks like the door had been left cracked but the customer stated the door has never been left open. I found no issues with the freezer door gasket and found it sealing good. I removed the ice from the vents and top of the coil then tested the refrigerator. I watched the FC get down to 8 degrees and it was still cooling and dropping. The icemaker has no error codes and will go thru a harvest. The mold has water in it. I explained to the customer that now with the temps correct the icemaker will start working again. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Austin SR# 7738384319. Austin agrees with the UI replacement with what was found and what the refrigerator was doing. No other repairs needed at this time.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that wont start. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised of the unit will start, but that it will only run as long as you hold the push the start button. I did confirm the customers complaint and check voltage to the unit. Found proper voltage and polarity. I checked the voltage under a load when trying to start the dryer and did find voltage on the line one side drop from 122.8 V to 113 V. However, the unit still had enough voltage to start. I checked voltage coming from the timer to the push to start and found 122 V. When pressing the push to start saw the voltage drop to 114.1 V, but still was being supplied power. Went to the outcoming voltage connector at the push to start and found voltage activating when the push to start was pressed, but would not hold after the push to start was let go indicating an issue with the push to start relay. I replace the push to start switch assembly and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to test unit for broken door. Called safety and stated customer would be responsible for repair. Home owner said she would be purchasing new unit. Job complete. SR#7738308096

Arrived onsite and found unit non responsive. Traced power and found unit power supply shorted. Corrected by finding the gfci circuit connected to the outlet and resetting. All checks good. Unit now operating as designed.
