"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that seems to be running a lot more than usual. I found the customer had the temps set at 37 degrees in the RC and 2 degrees in the FC. I found the ice bin full. I found the FC temp dropping to -6 degrees and still cooling. I found the FC thermistor resistance at 24.65 Kohms registering -1. The UI has digits missing and I explained to the customer that this can be an issue also. I did find the center of the condenser coil partially packed in dust and hair and it will take compressed air to blow the coil out. I removed the outer door panel and found the main control not attached and the molex connector for the element and power source was burnt (photo). I test3d that element and it showed 12.9 ohms. I am ordering the gasket and office will need to schedule return service with ticket #360512. "Arrived on site to inspect oven/microwave combo unit with microwave not working. Upon further inspection, I found the control panel would not respond to touch. I cycled power at the breaker and placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes. I found F6E4. Cleared the code and tested the components. Unit is operating as designed except the microwave light does not come on and the unit is not connected to WiFi. Customer advised that they get the open door error when using the microwave. I found the right side of the MW door not closing properly. I assisted the customer in connecting the unit to WiFi. Arrived on site to continue diagnosing the fridge. I found the Evaporator drain clear. I tried to run a wired through the return vent from the fridge to freezer. I found the vents blocked off from insulation collapsing from to much ice build up. I spoke to the customer about the fridge. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with water in the freezer bottom. Upon further inspection, I found water in the bottom of the fresh foods section. Also found the fresh foods evaporator drip pan badly bowed, the deli control not operating and the customer advised they have seen ice built up on the fresh foods evaporator cover. I inspected the deli control and it was dry. I inspected the deli harness and found the brown wire broken. I explained to the customer that the unit is in the beginning stages of malfunctioning. I explained that the unit has the damaged wire harness which will eventually lead to cooling issue, which theyve already experienced with the fresh foods evaporator freezing up. I provided a disclaimer written by management and recommended they not proceed with repairs due to it not being cost effective. The unit is currently cooling properly, but the deli control is not working due to the harness being damaged.

I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F3E2-water temp fault. I cleared the error code and removed the console to access the inlet valve and found the valve leaking at the sensor. Continued with testing and when the water began to dispense, I found water leaking from the sensor seal. I removed and replaced the valve and calibrated the unit. Tested in diagnostics and the unit is operating as designed with no further leaks. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a oven microwave combo that the microwave will not heat. The model and serial number tag has been partially removed. I tested the unit and found the magnetron humming loudly. I got with the other members of the service team and there is no way to narrow this unit down to the exact model because there are multiple engineering codes. I had advised the customer if we could not narrow down the model then to call GE directly and see if the unit was ever registered under the address or see if they could send a GE tech out to verify what the model of the unit is. Arrived onsite for a dryer making a loud squealing noise at random times. I couldnt duplicate the noise but I disassembled the unit and found the idler puller almost locked up. I replaced the idler bracket and vacuumed out the chassis. The dryer is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for PUSH START BUTTON WILL NOT ALWAYS WORK AND START A CYCLE . Upon arrival inspected unit and found start button off of console. Saw sensing button stuck flashing. Held the start button down to reset control. Control reset and am able to get into diagnostics. On diagnostics ran manual cycle and all components operate correctly. Pierced low side found no refrigerant in system,installed a new filter drier,pressurized system to find leak location,found unit losing pressure,checked compressor compartment and tubing,removed evaporator cover checked evaporator connections while checking tubing found hissing noise with cap tube movement.

Arrived onsite for a dryer thats making the same noise again and started smoking. After I arrived I found out that it wasnt the dryer but the washer that was the issue. I found the spider had broken from the rear of the basket and the basket was wobbling in the tub. This was the noise the customer was hearing and it was rubbing the outer tub before it stopped that cause the smoke the customer saw. The unit would need a tub and basket replacement.

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that started leaking from underneath. I tested the dishwasher in the diagnostics cycle. I found no leaks . I found no signs that anything in the sump area has ever leaked. I did see signs where the fill hose had leaked at one time where it connects to the valve but it was tight and not leaking now. I found where the sound barrier had gotten wet at the toe kick and it had been wet all the way across it from left to right. I inspected the float and it wasnt leaking. I removed the outer door and there were no signs the dispenser had ever leaked. I inspected the door seal and found it good. I suspect the unit had excessive suds and cause water to leak over the tub seal. The customer is not using rinse aid in the dispenser and is using Cascade Complete pods. I went over detergent use with the customer and turning the hot water on at the sink getting the water hot before starting the dishwasher. I explained to the customer what to look for in regards to suds and told them they might need to change detergent. There were no water leaks present at the time of service.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the main control and control panel and when I went to test, I plugged the u;it in and the control panel display showed F2E3 error code. I unplugged the unit and waited approximately 3 minutes and plugged it back in and got the same results. I placed the old main control back in the unit and retested and continued to get the error code. I contacted techline and spoke to Steve and advised of the previous complaint, previous techs diagnosis and my issue with the new parts. Steve advised that the main control is not recognizing the control panel and to re-order parts. Provided SR#7735084951. Also, when I tilted the unit back to confirm the drain pump was connected as it was replaced at previous service call, I found a large amount of gearcase oil on the rotor and all four cabinet panels. I am ordering the main control, console, gearcase, clutch and slider and office to schedule return service. Upon return service, returning tech will need to replace all parts ordered to complete the call. Unit left unplugged and water turned off for safety. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is having a hard time draining and spinning. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the hub stripped again. I did advise the customer that it is possible that her issue is deriving from her gear case. The customer advised that she would just prefer to have the hub replaced again just to be sure and well Figure out her situation if that does not work. Re-ordering the hub assembly and did not collect due to the customer still being under warranty for the prior repair. Arrived on site to test unit for loud screeching noise. Found noise coming from rotor rubbing against motor due to failed gearcase. Attempted to remove wash plate with no success. "Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. customer complaint was unit not working from prior repairs. I inspected unit and found refrigerator evap cases up in ice. I explained to customer that refrigerator will have to be fully defrosted for 48 hrs and then we could return and continue diagnosing. customer did not want that option and that the only way, if we try to force anything could cause more damages."

"WTW8127LC0 Arrived to inspect washer non-operation. I found F6E3, F7EA, F7E9, F7E3 and F2E1. I tested all three of the motor circuits from the control connector and found all we at 8.8 ohms, which is very good. I found all loads tested within specifications and were not the cause of the control failure, which was only the motor driver section. Inspection of the motor assembly revealed a light amount of oil within the rotor, showing gear case failure in the beginning stages. The unit will require the control, gear case and slider. No leaks observed during service. Office to contact customer if an earlier appt. becomes available. ; ordrng 1 W11449841 (Gear Case) and 1 W10734521 (Slider)"

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not getting to temp. Test unit and unit getting stuck at 335?. Replaced board and sensor test unit and unit still getting stuck at 340?. Will need to replace element and maybe harness on return visit. Ordering new fuse ; ordrng 1 WP3196548 (Fuse)

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with noise and vibration. Found rattling again duct. Padded the duct and the under side of cabinet. Unit is now operating quietly. All checks good.

"Arrived to inspect burner issue. I tested the unit multiple times per burner at various settings and could not recreate the issue. While working on the vent system, I found the cooktop was incorrectly installed and could slide back against the retractable vent and bind it, causing internal damage to that machine. I am rescheduling this service order to research mounting options and will relay them to the customer. No gas leaks detected during service. ; ordrng 1 GCO (Tech GC Only)"

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Installed the UI and tested unit. No gas leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to diagnose wall oven that is having issues with console and lights on. Customer said after breaker was changed out recently the oven started itself once. They have since power cycled and issue never returned. The console tends to lock up and results in customer having to power cycle. Advised on service pointer w11525554, which states a software update should resolve issues with console UI. Customer advised steam will cause the console to act erratically, and they need to cover anything with a high steam content to allow power operation. Assisted customer with setting up wifi and WP app, and pushed software update. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for error F21. Installed a pressure switch tested unit in diagnostics mode and did not get the F21 error. Put the unit in rinse and spin mode to see if it would error out again. It ran the whole cycle with out error F21. Told customer to use the unit and see if the error came back. No water leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite and found damaged nameplate and replaced the nameplate W10876598. Unit is now correct.

Inspected unit and I did not find any noises from normal. customer says she can hear it while I was inspecting it, I couldnt hear it. Called techline and spoke to Cliff SR#7735088158 unit is operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service."

Arrived onsite to replace FC door. Replaced door and tested. Unit is functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the freezer section at 13?F initially but cool down to 8?F. Ran the unit through icemaker error codes and found an E5 indicating the icemaker did not harvest within the specified time to make ice. Unplugged the unit and checked pressures. Found pressures inside the unit were only at 12 psi. I vacuumed out the unit and charged the unit with nitrogen. Found a leak at the dryer at the top where it meets the steel line. Re-braised the dryer and charged it up with nitrogen again. Did not find any leaks present. Vacuum down the unit and found the vacuum held for 15 minutes without dropping. Charge the unit back up with 56 g of R600. I plug the unit back in and found the return line heating up indicating the refrigerator cooling down. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer error codes. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that since the error code he has run several loads and the errors have not reappeared. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F3E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit is operating as designed. The customer advised that when the unit threw the code, they were washing a king sized blanket and a twin sized. I advised the customer that the unit is designed to wash no more than a queen sized blanket. I removed he back cover and inspected the air trap and sensor tubing and both were in good condition. I advised the customer that the unit is operating as designed and if they noticed it not operating properly to call it in for service. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
