"Arrived onsite to inspect refrigerator not making ice and being warm in the RC. The customer stated that prior to the failed cooling issue the RC evaporator had frosted over and another company had come out and defrosted the unit. I tested the FC temperature and got 28?. I tested the RC thermistors. I read the RC thermistor and got 69? and the RC evaporator thermistor was 64?. I tested the RC evaporator fan and it is working properly. I found that the compressor was extremely hot to the touch. Sealed system needs to be done, compressor, drier, service port,three way valve,RC evaporator needs to be replaced. SS is covered by manufacture warranty. Also gonna bring the control kit just in case for the defrost issue on return and will determine if it is needed at that time. Arrived on site to install previous diagnose part. I replaced the float switch and ran the unit. It tried to fill with water but stopped and drained 30 seconds in. I gained access to the inlet housing and found the flow meter board corroded. I tried cleaning the corrosion but still found the same failure. With the flow meter disconnected the unit is not defaulting to a timed fill. I am ordering a flow meter and the harness to be replaced. The harness has corrosion in the connector as well. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still having issues completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they had fixed the electrical to the washer. Did check polarity and found an open ground. Found an error code flashing on the washer indicating an off-balance pause (F0 E9). Ran the unit through diagnostics and did confirm that error code only. Tested the washer and a drain and spin with the current clothes left in the washer and did find the unit going off balance. The customer advised that they had their logical fixed yesterday and that was the first load they had ran since. Remove the clothes out of the washer and ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Chris (No SR#). He advised that because the unit had an open ground at the plug that it can cause electrical issues with the unit throwing error codes. He advised that because the unit is running fine through diagnostics, there would be no parts that he would advise this point. I spoke to my service management team and was advised that the off-balance issue could be caused by a number of issues but the fact that it ran through diagnostics without going off balance would only mean the basket itself was fine. Ordering the gear case, cam, hub, and belt for repair. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they were drying clothes on the low setting and when they opened the unit door, it felt too hot inside and the clothing was too hot to touch. I tested the voltage at the wall and got 243V. I tested temps on the low setting and got an average temp of 143 degrees which is approximately 8 degrees out of range. I tested the unit on the high setting and the average temp was 152 degrees, which is within range. I tested the thermostat and found it within range as well. The customer advised that they had opened the unit door during the cycle when they found the clothing too hot. I explained that the element cycles on and off and possibly they had opened the door when the element was at its hottest point during the cycle as the unit is testing good. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Suspicion is that the relay on the control had stuck closed causing the coil to be energized at all times and burn up.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not making it through any spin cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Round the unit three diagnostics and found an F 51 ( motor RPS failure) error code. Checked all my connections and found all connections good. Tested resistance through the RPS sensor and the motor and found both within range. Spoke to CS and was advised to remove the basket to see if there was anything stuck underneath the basket. I was unable to remove the basket even after shaking the basket up and down at least 50 times. The basket would not break free from the driveshaft. Did not find anything underneath the basket. Hes been advised to check and spin the basket to see if it was making a grinding sound. Did find the unit making a grinding sound as the basket was spun. Advise the customer the issue would be with his bearings on his washer and because of the basket not being able to be removed, we would have to do a rebuild on the washer for repair.

"Arrived to inspect microwave door issue. I found the chassis had sustained damage at some point and has a twist/bend, causing the right upper microwave switch to not be fully depressed unless the door is pressed in at the upper right, or slammed. The lower right front leg area was bent over toward the center of the chassis and causing it to further induce twist to the chassis when mounted. Further inspection revealed the outer stainless panel to the right of the actual microwave chassis is slightly deformed, preventing the door from fully contacting the switch. I contacted MFG tech Chris, SR# 7734490868, and advised of my findings. The MFG tech said the issue is due to shipping or installation damage and due to the nature of the damaged chassis, cannot be fully repaired. I was able to square the chassis in the mount and the issue was reduced, but requires a specific press or technique to get the door to close fully and shut off the light."

I heat the unit to 350?F then monitored the temp fluctuations and found it heating as designed. I informed the customer of my findings. I reached out to the office to collect the service fee. Arrived on site for a washing machine not running properly. On arrival the customer stated the unit will fill (and appears to fill to much) then it will stop and flash lights on the UI. The customer showed me a video of the lights and it was error code F8E1 for long fill. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F8E1. I then manually activated each component and it ran as designed. I then ran a quick wash and found the unit would fill way to high and then throw an F8E1 and stop. I gained access to the pressure tube and found it had come loose. I re-installed it and then ran through the same steps prior. I found the unit now running as designed. Call complete.

I removed e toeplate and removed the float switch reservoir and found water in the reservoir. While testing, I checked the tub and found a large amount of detergent suds inside (photo). The customer advised that when the error code came up, they opened the unit door and found a lot of suds as well. Customer advised that they have a water softener system. I attempted to clean the float switch but was unable to get all of the water out of it; therefore, I removed and replaced the switch and reassembled it to the reservoir. The unit completed testing and is operating as designed. I cleared the suds from the unit and I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. Arrived on site for dryer taking a long time to dry. I inspected the unit and work area. I spoke to the customer and found out it only happens on sensor dry. I inspected the sensor and found it working as designed. I replaced the control and preformed an air flow test. I found the air flow weak when the unit is on the exterior vent. I recommend the customer have vent wizard come out and clean the exterior vent.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher, inspected unit and work area. Tested unit in diagnostics and found stored error codesF4E3 F7E1 F2E1. I then ran a test cycle and I had no motor response. I gained access to replace sump and motor. Tested unit and its now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to check no lights, inspected unit and work area. Tested switches and they where good but found othe one in the RC cracked so replaced it. I then checked the control connections and found a connector unplugged. Reconnected the connector and all lights are now operating properly. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed."

I gained access to the rc evaporator, I found it p,urged in but not receiving power. Indicating a failed control. I replaced both the UI and main control. I tested the rc fan and found it working. I put the unit into a forced defrost. The unit is working as designed. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Gained access to recover freon from compressor, after recovery I desolder the compressor joints and evaporator. Installed new evaporator and compressor and solder joints. I then vacuum the system out and charged it up. Unit is now cooling. No leaks observed during service. Job completed"

Arrived onsite for center burner not functioning properly. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found debris in gas ports not allow proper flow for ignition. Cleared debris. Tested unit and unit is functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site for fridge leaking. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the fresh food drip pan warped and allowing water to leak out the wrong side. I cleared the ice and shimmed the drip pan. It is now level and allowing water to flow into the drain. Job complete.

Arrived on site for no ice. Found broken wires exiting door hinge unit will need a new freezer door. ; ordrng 1 LW10691266 (Freezer door ss) and 1 WPW10334458 (Connector)

"Arrived to repair door harness. I found all wires were broken and I prepped and pre-tinned the wires prior to soldering. I applied double heat shrink and then re-wrapped the assembly, ensuring the bending of the wires was elongated to prevent further breakage. I tested the unit and all functions returned to normal. I squared and leveled the doors to the chassis. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for microwave not heating. Upon inspection found failed high voltage system. Uninstalled unit and replaced magnetron, capacitor and diode. Tested unit and unit is now functioning properly. Job complete"

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not cycling properly. Found unit stuck in drain and reset control. Advised customer that if lid is open for 10 mins and there is water in the machine it will reset to the drain issue. No further repairs needed and no leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived on site to replace previously ordered parts for dishwasher. Replaced ui and housing and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is walking/ jumping around in spin according to cx. Upon arrival I perform a couple of test each with a comforter in the unit one wash cycle and found the unit operating as designed two drain and spin found unit operating as designed. I did mention to customer that they should make sure that the loads are Dispersed evenly within the unit he said the they do. Unit is operating as designed no leaks job complete.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is making an abnormal noise when in use. Upon arrival I installed that gearcase and found it good I did find that the slider and rotor had some signs of wear on them. I installed pats and tested unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete no leaks.

"Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed RC ice maker, replaced ice maker, ran it through diagnostic cycle, harvest and water fill test passed, advised customer to monitor and should see ice production within 24hours, job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found the FC section cooling properly and the RC section warm. I found no airflow through the damper. While inspecting the damper, the unit began to flicker as themFC evap motor began to ramp on and off and the UI began to make a constant beeping noise. I Removed the damper housing and placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the damper. I found the UI digits began to flicker and the damper failed to open/close. I tested the evap motor, condenser motor and compressor and all functioned properly. While in diagnostics, the UI kicked back into normal mode and began to make the constant beeping noise and the unit struggled to come back on. I researched the main control board at the back of the unit and the UI . I advised the customer of my findings and that the unit cannot be repaired without the controls needed. No water connections to the unit, job completed."
