"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not operating. Upon further inspection, I found the interior drum light comes on when opening the door. Closed the door and tested the unit and it failed to start. I tested the door switch and I found the switch broken, but was making enough contact to turn the light off but not start the unit. Also while it had the lid raised, I found the ground wire not connected at the back of the unit (photo). I corrected the wiring harness at the terminal block (photo). I removed and replaced the door switch and retested and unit is operating. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for washer that is filling with water when not in use. Upon arrival I the unit and found that the inlet valve where weeping. I installed new valves and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed no leaks

The wash plate bolt came out of gear case. Re installed the wash plate ran the unit in spin mode up to 1200 rpm and the wash plate never came undone. The unit is working as designed.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the refrigerator at 53?F. Check the freezer and found evidence of a defrost issue. Ran unit through diagnostics and found an open defrost sensor. Found the defrost sensor covered in ice. Ordering the evaporator fan assembly and returning with the control. Unit had original RC evap cover and needed to be replaced. Drain tube needed to be cleared and air gap sealed up beneath the refrigerator. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not sitting level and tilting back towards the back left corner. Upon further inspection, I was servicing the washer and leaned against the dryer and found it off balanced or not level. I found the leveling feet were not leveled and the back left leg was damaged. Using parts from the my van stock (W11025920), I replaced the damaged feet and leveled the unit. Customer requested that I change the door opening direction. Due to the unit being out of its 30 day cosmetic warranty, I removed the door and switched the hinges and strike/catch assemblies and re-installed the door and tested. Unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven not reaching temps. Upon further inspection, I found the unit display blank. Customer advised that they were baking at 425 and when it reached temp, the unit shut down completely. I checked the breaker and found it on. I cycled power and the unit came on. I pulled the unit out and checked error codes in diagnostics. I found F6E4 and F6E6. Following the tech sheet, I removed and replaced the main control and once I turned the power back on to test, I found the display blank again. The unit is plugged into an outlet at the back of the unit and also the unit was installed under a cooktop. I tried cycling power several times and the display continued to fail. I recommended that the customer have the breaker and outlet inspected by a certified electrician. Also recommended that in the electrical issue has been resolved and the customer uses the unit and it fails again, to call it in for service. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that will not tumble. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised of the unit worked for about a day and then it completely went out again. The customer advised that since the unit went out again, they had altered their venting system to a lower shorter distance to an outside source. The customer had added an opening to the backside of the vet to lead out into the garage creating a smaller vent system. Ran event test kit on it and found the unit showing good airflow. Went ahead and replace the thermal fuse. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7734367381. He advised that if there are any further issues with this unit, the customer would need to have their venting cleaned as the customer advised it has never been cleaned in the last seven years. Arrived on site to diagnose dryer that is not making any sounds when in use. Tested unit and found speaker crackled and then made no sound. Replaced console with new to alleviate speaker issue. Tested unit and verified proper sounds are present. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a washer with no power. Upon arrival I checked for voltage at the wall and found none. I found that the breaker had tripped. I turned it back on and tested for voltage at the wall and found a good 120v and the polarity was good too, I tested the drain pump and found that the Resistance was within space. I check the rotor, stator and found them good too. I ran unit in diag mode and found that the unit ran as designed,found no leaks. This could be a result of a weak breaker, job complete."

Advised to try and run cycles with no pots and pans on the bottom rack in case they are causing excessive turbidity, leading to water running over the tub lip. At this time could not recreate leaks. Arrived onsite for refrigerator that is not cooling properly upon arrival I checked the evap and found that it had a good frost pattern and the fan was operating. Heating element was still good same with the thermistor. I checked that the baffle was operating properly and found that it was. Then I took temps and found that the freezer got to 5* and the rc got to 35*. Cx was using there Own thermometer to Read the temperature in the unit but there was barely any items in the refrigerator which can cause the unit some Difficulty getting down to set temperatures. I advised cx to put some more Items in the refrigerator and monitor to see if anything changes. Job complete

Arrived onsite for and oven that is not heating evenly. Up arrival I performed a temp test and found the the unit heated as normal. Cx showed me a picture of bacon the they were cooked cooking in the oven as. One side was crispier than the other. I advised the cx that oven may have hotspots in them and what could help is if they turn the dish they are cooling halfway through the cooking process. As I could not find any sort of failure at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site for refrigerator had broken RCA door switch again. Upon arrival confirmed issue but could not find any irrefutable evidence of why switch a broken other than a defect in the switch and could not find any signs of the door catching or hangups in the door liner. Place switch under warranty and found unit functioning as designed after using an internal camera to verify how the door is shut and activate the switch from inside the RC. "Arrived on site to perform sealed system per previous tech. On arrival found low side pulling into vacuum(-20psi) and high side was at(158psi). Charged system on high side to 140 with nitrogen and low side stayed in a vacuum. Cut drier in half and found slight flow from cap tube side only. Removed drier and replaced. Charged again with nitrogen a fan found pre cooler leaking from solder to condenser. Fixed leak, vacuumed system down and charged to specs. While in vacuum exposed evap. When powered unit on after charging to specs with refrigerant(4.7oz) found immediately leaking from cabinet to evap, not sure if from suction tube or cap tube but took pic of dye and sent to Techline. Unit sent for review. Advised customer to expect whirlpool to reach out to preferred method of contact within 3-5 business days. SR#7734823819"

Arrived on site for kitchenAid dishwasher door falling. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the right hand side spring not decompressing causing the spring to loosen off the hook. I reattached the spring and cleared any debris preventing it from decompressing. I tested the door and spring I found the spring seated properly now and the door working as design. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling properly. Found FC temp was 12.2 on arrival and RC was 42.6. Exposed evap and found top half of the evap had frost pattern. Kept unit plugged in and got an amp draw reading from compressor of .6amps. Kept meter in compressor and found it fluctuating. When reaching 1.4amp draw compressor would get hot and kick out. Cooled compressor and would cycle power. Found high side pressure were 128psi and low side were at 0 but when hooking up low side liquid squirted out with UV dye. When was going to charge system with nitrogen at 140 per Techline I had unit unplugged and was heating a slight hiss/spitting sound. Charged system to 140psi with nitrogen and found an inconsistent hiss coming from suction tube and cap entering cabinet. Leak seems to be too far up into cabinet to get bubble solution to work properly. Leak would stop for a couple minutes then spit(what I believe to be a possible floating restriction) out and high side pressure would drop little but little. After about 25mins high side was at 118 and low side was at 48psi. Heard spitting again and high side pressure instantly dropped to 48 psi where pressures seemed to stabilize. Was on phone with Techline the whole time and believe may have a heat exchanger leak and floating restriction. Unit sent for review. SR#7734661611

Arrived on site for whirlpool icemaker over producing. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the bail arm not slotted into the icemaker correctly. I reshaped the bail arm and reinstalled it. It is now working as designed. Job complete.

I found line 1 to neutral showing 240 volt when it should be 120. I found line 1 to line 2 only having 120 volts when it should be 240 volts. The power at the needs to be set properly for the unit to operate. I checked the dryer terminal block and found it wired correctly. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. On inspection the washer was full of water, I put the unit in diagnostics mode to drain the unit. The unit would not drain. Ohm out then drain pump and it was 13 ohm, it was good tested pump voltage on connector p16 pin 1 &2 got 120 volts. Ohm out the wiring harness for drain pump in it was open. I replaced the harness and tested unit in diagnostics mode and it was working as designed. No water leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site to replace previously ordered parts for refrigerator. Found low charge in unit and replaced drier and installed service port. Vacuumed and charged unit according to r600 procedures. Air temp in freezer at 24 and dropping after 5-7 mins of run time after repair. All is working properly at this time. No water hooked up to unit.

Arrived on site for dryer not heating. Upon arrival confirmed issue but found causes failure with dryer taking too long to heat but was still trying to heat. Upon further testing found that the thermostat fix it failed and I replaced part and found unit also had clog venting in the home and instructed customer on getting a proper dryer vent cleaning done in order to prevent further issues. Dryer now functioning as designed. Call complete

"Arrived on site for range mot heating properly, inspected unit and work area. Tested voltage coming from wall and it was miss wired, L1 was neutral and neutral was L1. Maintenance guy was here and I explained to him and he said he would get it fixed. Unit should be operating as designed after the wall outlet gets wired correctly."
