Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes or recycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised of the unit will seemingly count down early on certain cycles and will turn off within five minutes of starting the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found all test spots. Ran the unit through a cycle and found the unit tumbling and heating as designed. Down the unit did not register any kind of moisture due to new clothes being in the dryer and started to shut down after 4-5 minutes. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the moisture sensor working as designed. Found the dryer leaning backwards causing clothes to bundle at the back and also noticed the vent hose was really long and had multiple elbows before even making it to the wall and up through the roof. I did explain to the customer that their venting situation could be exacerbating her issue due to the fact that she may not have proper actual airflow. Advise the customer to shorten her vent hose and re-leveled up the unit to where it the front Linda little forward to allow close to touch up against the moisture sensor. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Tech Line confirms steam on the panel can cause issues, and to make sure items are covered in the unit when needed, and to use the convect option for less steam generation. Arrived onsite for wall oven that is not turning on no signs of life in the ui. Upon testing the unit for voltage at the j8 plug I found none. I then checked voltage at the outlet and found 240v from L1-L2 and found 0.9v from L1-Neutral and 0.9v from L2-neutral. This means that the neutral line may be open in the wall or in the outlet and or the neutral line may be connected to the wrong lug in the outlet. I advised customer that an electrician will be needed to correct the issue. Job complete

Arrived on site for Maytag dryer not heating. I inspected the unit and work area. I tested voltage from the wall and found line 2 with no voltage. I reset the outside breaker and found power restored. I ran the dryer and found it heating as designed. I recommend the customer replace the double breaker. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a no ice condition. I tested the FC temp and it was at 0 degrees. I found an E5 icemaker error. I ran service test 57 and the unit went thru harvest. I ran test 45 and could hear the valve energize but no water entered the mold. I ran test 19 and confirmed 120VAC to the fill tube heater and it was drawing .6 amps and working. I ran test 45 again and the mold filled with water. I found no weeping from the valve. I explained to the customer there could have been some trash in the fill valve and it cleared but if it happens again we would need to replace the icemaker of possibly the valve. Call complete.

Found following results for thermistors Rc thermistor P5-1/2(6.21k), fc thermistor p5-3/4(11.92k), rc evap thermistor(buried in undefrosted ice) p8-3/4(13.01k). Called techline and spoke with Rob sr#7734843190. Was instructed to replace ui and rc evap harness after unit has had proper time to defrost manually.

"Arrived on site and inspected ice machine and found recirculating pump is running but there is not enough water in the reservoir and it is just pulling air. Found a slab of ice partially melted over cutting grid and another complete slab of ice behind it. Also found drain pump is dripping water. Removed drain pump completely reset all hoses and it is no longer dripping. Removed cutting grid and found large amount of calcium deposits keeping sheet of ice from sliding forward. Also found cutting grid connector is failing, took one picture. Also found evaporator thermistor is reading open so icemaker is only running in timed cycle.

Found unit disassembled by CX. Tested amp draw and started at 1.2 amps and then it would drop to 0.92amp. Compressor was extremely hot. Frost pattern would start out good but about half way on the evaporator no frost would be shown. Unit would need a sealed system repair. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed."

I removed the check valve and found a small washer and other debris inside. Removed the debris and retested and unit continues to operate as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with no power. Upon further inspection, I attempted to test the unit and found the control panel did not respond. I checked voltage at the junction box and got no reading. I found a switch on the wall to the right of the unit and turned it on which provided 122V, but the unit continued to fail. I checked voltage at the control and got nothing. When I checked the harness at the junction box again, sparks came out of the wire nut for the neutral wire and I noticed the wire cover was a dark white and not bright. I cycled power to the unit and removed the wire nut and found the wires had shorted. I cut the wires back and re-wired the harnesses and cycled power, at which time, the unit came on. I tested the unit and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
