WTW4855HW3 arrived on site to inspect washing machine not working. Upon arrival I placed the unit into service diagnostic mode. No error codes. Tested the unit and all components activated except for the pump. Inspected all connections and found them all seated properly. Looked at the ui and found that the lights werent working. Cycled power to the unit to get the control panel to work. Checked and had proper voltage. Found that the controls would become inoperable randomly. Replaced the main control board. Tested the unit and all components are working as designed. No water leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site for not cooling correctly. Upon arrival inspected unit. RC is cool but not cold enough and FC is cold but not freezing. Ran diagnostics and all components passed. Ice container is full of ice. Found entire evaporator except heater are encased in ice. Defrost is operating correctly. Found freezer is stuffed with food packaging and 2 of the shelves have liners that reach the rear panel and blocking the vents. Unit ha improper air flow. Cleared all ice with blower and steamer. Advised customer to shorten the length of shelf liners and be sure they do not extend pass the glass shelves. Powered unit back on and confirmed perfect frost pattern on evaporator. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator making a rattling noise and not cooling. The customer stated the noise is a humming noise and it will last as long as 15 minutes but they also stated the unit has been cooling fine. I found the toe kick not installed correctly causing the door switch not to pop out and turn the UI on and the interior lights. I corrected the toe kick and the switch works as designed now. I never heard any odd sounds when I arrived and after I corrected the toe kick I powered the unit off and let it set a few minutes and powered it back on. The unit went into a defrost after it was powered on. I waited for defrost to end and the sealed system turned on. I found the condenser fan making the noise the customer was hearing. I replaced the fan and tested the unit. All sounds normal now and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator that was recycling power and resetting. When i plugged in the unit it started fine the first time. I unplugged and retested, and this time the unit started cycling and reaetting. I could hear a control relay clicking as well. I removed rhe P8 connrctor first, and the cycling immediately stopped. I plugged in the P8 and power cycled, and unit started resetting again. Was able to do this about 5 times plugging and unplugging P8. I ran the unit through all tests relating to that connector, which is all Icemaker related (Thermistor, fill tube heater, and icebox fan). Called tech line, Sr7737575362. Tech line recommended replacement of icebox fan, and other components in the chain and to retest. Ordering fan, icemaker, fill tube heater to resolve. "Arrived on site for a dryer that trips the breaker immediately when the unit is plugged in. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and found the breaker tripping almost immediately as the power cord touch the plug. Checked all wiring and did not find any issues with grounding voltage. Are used as suicide cord to test the dryer on a 120 outlet. Found the dryer turning on and working as designed without the breaker tripping. Found the unit was on a GFI outlet causing the issue. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Bruce SR# 7737578786. He had me run through a couple jacks and advise that because we were able to disconnect multiple components off of the timer without changing the result of the breaker, tripping, that the issue would have to be internalized with the breaker. Advisement no repair. Advise the customer to change out the breaker. Call complete."

Harvested ice and filled. Found no indication of a leak. Tube is clear, fill cup is clear, fill level is good. After fill, no drip. Cubes formed correctly, no indication of weeping valve. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that still has a defrost issue. Inspected unit and work area. Found the refrigerator at 60?F and the freezer at 46?F. Went to the control and tested the refrigerator and freezer thermistors. Found the refrigerator thermistor showing 4.08k ohms (61?F) and the freezer thermistor showing 5.86k ohms (47?F). I found the defrost thermistor showing 43.9k homes (-19?F). Checked the defrost heater from the control for resistance and found 92.2 ohms of resistance. i forced the unit through a defrost and found the heater pulling 1.1 A showing a good circuit. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Ed SR# 7737573278. He had me test the defroster, mister and an ice bath and advised to go ahead and replace the evaporator through Mr. and user interface due to the control Audi being replaced. Replaced both parts and the unit is working as designed. Advised the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

I checked stored codes and had an F7E2 & F9E2. The drain pump was working as designed but in the diagnostics cycle the wash pump never came on and when it was supposed to turn on the drain pump would start running because the machine would display the F7E2 error. The wash pump was showing the resistance 16.9 ohms across all pins in any configuration so electrically it shows good. Upon further inspection of the drain pump I couldnt get a steady resistance reading at the control so I tested the resistance at the pump and it would bounce between 34 ohms to 0 ohms back and forth. It should be reading between 41 & 51 ohms per the tech sheet. Ordering the drain pump and returning with the sump and motor along with the control when it arrives. Ordering W11462456 pump-drain. Office to RS.; ordrng 1 W11462456 (Pump-drain)

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the noise was a thumping noise towards the end of a cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I manually tested the spin mode and in the beginning, the unit began to make a thumping noise but as the basket increased RPMs, the noise stopped. I tilted the unit back and found gearcase oil on the side panels and the rotor and also found the rotor bolt had come unsecured and was lying on the floor. I removed and replaced the gearcase, clutch and slider and calibrated the unit. Retested and unit is operating as designed with no further unusual noises. Also found the drain hose too far down inside the drain pipe and corrected and secured with a ziptie. I made recommendations for use and care. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven not heating. Upon further inspection, tested the unit and found when placing the unit in Bake mode and pressing start, the unit would not heat and the display showed the temp at 170 degrees. The same issue occurred when testing in broil mode except the temp displaying was 550 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and attempted to test the components and the UI would not display what was being tested. I pulled the unit out and tested the elements and TODs and all are good. I advised the customer that the user interface has failed and needs to be replaced. Looking at previous repairs, the control panel is covered under AEX one year warranty. I researched the part to order and found it out of stock. I advised the customer that there is no ETA on the panel and our office would contact them when it arrives to schedule return service.
