"Arrived onsite for a washer that is not washing correctly and getting the clothes clean. The customer stated that there will be dry spots on clothing after a cycle finishes. They stated it will not wash their king size sheets. I advised that king size sheets are too large for this machine. The customer stated that even regular loads are not getting clean and have dry spots. I advised not loading more than a laundry basket full of clothes and Ms stated its just the two in the home and she never puts more than that anyway. I found no stored error codes. I ran the diagnostics cycle and the machine completes the cycle working as designed. I ran a bulky setting with the water level set to max and the machine fills to the very top of the wash plate where it meets the agitator on the initial fill before it starts agitating then continues to fill until the water level is an inch below the upper basket holes before it switches from fill to wash. I found everything working as designed. I found the feet not screwed all the way out during installation and explained that the gear case pulley cover could have possibly been touching the floor causing issues. I set the feet properly. I went over loading, mixing clothes, and detergent use with the customer explaining to them how these things can affect washer performance. I called techline and spoke with Joe SR# 7739751143 to give him my findings. He stated the machine is working as designed. Call complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED."

Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator making loud sounds. Upon further inspection found that evaporator fan was not running. I gained access to evaporator cover and found ice buildup. I tested the defrost circuit and the defrost was operating fine. I replaced the evaporator cover assembly since the fan was damaged by hitting ice. I then changed the defrost mode to the standard 8 hr to prevent over frosting in the future. No water leaks observed during service. W11610999

Arrived onsite for for refrigerator freezer defrosting and refreezing the food items. On inspection I pulled the unit out and found the temperature was 115? on the left side of the unit. By the time I got the camera out the temperature dropped to 106?. There is a 1/4 inch on ether side of the refrigerator for breathing. The unit will have a hard time be efficient when the temperature is that hot behind the unit. Found that the divider were missing. Oder dividers. No parts installed during service. "Arrived on site to follow up on washer not fully rinsing clothes. Customer clarified that there are only 3 settings that are actually giving a submersive rinse, where it will agitate and fill before a final spin. This was narrowed to towels, quick, bulky. When I checked those cycles I found extra rinse was turned on for quick, which will trigger a submersive rinse any time that option is selected. The other 2 cycles were confirmed by tech line to have that style of rinse as part of its normal cycle operation. Unit is working as designed, customer advised to turn on extra rinse for the added function. Call completed, no parts used."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is vibrating excessively/banging on spin. I checked the basket and tub and found no play in the gearcase or hub. I did find the suspension was extra springy, and justified replacement. I replaced the suspension and made a minor adjustment to the level. I ran a wet load on high speed spin. I do get some vibration, but nothing excessive. I advised to run a few loads and let the suspension break in, and to follow up if they still get excessive vibrations or walking with a balanced load, we can return with a basket due to potentially being out of round. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is constantly bringing the door alarm. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they just bought this unit and that the door alarm goes off consistently. She has had to put the unit into sabbath mode in order for the chimes to stop. I did confirm the customers complaint and checked the door switches. I found the lower door switch not being engaged from the door due to a piece missing. See photos. I called SR and she advised to contact Techline to ensure we order the right part. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Chris SR# 7739746121. He advised the actual goods date on this unit was March 30th, 2024. He had me send him several photos of the issue in question and advised to send this to parts research with Whirlpool to ensure we order the correct parts. He stated none of the parts listed show actual photos of the parts and that he was unsure as to what part was needed. Arrived onsite for dishwasher leaking. On inspection found water damage under the unit. I informed the customer of the damage and took pics. Pulled the pump and found that the diverter was leaking. Installed a new pump in which I had to clean the diverter connector because it had corrosion on it. Tested the pump and no more leaks with the new pump. On further inspection found the heating element has corrosion and pit marks on it and one of the stoppers was missing on the upper rack. Oder both parts and returning on 8/27/24 to replace. "Arrived onsite for Dishwasher with error F8E4. On inspection found the breaker off, then I found water in the overflow tray. Clean it out and ran diagnostic twice with no leaks found. Arrived on site to diagnose ice maker not producing or dispensing ice. Found some ice had clumped together directly under the bail arm. I broke it up and verified unit dumps and dispenses properly. Advised to remove bucket and make sure ice doesn't clump under the arm or it will not produce. No parts needed. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dryer not heating. Tested unit and confirmed no heat present. Checked voltages and found good voltage. Disassembled unit and found an extreme lint buildup due to a folded / collapsed vent hose. I vacuumed out the lint and found the source of the heating failure was a broken coil on the element. Replaced element and tested. Confirmed unit is now heating. Advised customer not to use the unit until a new vent hose is installed. Unit is working as designed at time of service completed, but customer must replace the collapsed vent hose. Repair completed. Parts used - WP3387747."

"Arrived on site to diagnose dryer with issues closing door. Elderly Customer said she found it hard to open and close. I checked the door and found it operating within spec. It is a bit stiff / crisp since it's new, but it's working as designed. I advised it will soften up some with usage. No repairs needed, unit working as designed."

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator that was not cooling well. Examined unit with black light and looked for dye. Found a good amount of dye coming off the lok ring on the condenser / Yoder loop area. I cut out the lok ring and added a sleeve in place of it. I added some nitrogen to verify there are no other leaks present. Found no other leaks. Vacuumed down and charged. Found unit charging slow. When I started the unit the compressor would not start. I found the compressor had a large amount of pressure, but almost none on the high side. I used some nitrogen on the high side and found a large amount of oil in the lines. I tried numerous times to blow out the oil in the lines. Called tech line who wanted me to isolate the cap tube and pressurize that. I crimped off the dryer and pressurized. Removed more oil. I redid the connection where the lok ring was as well to allow better flow. Vacuumed down once I saw more pressure coming out of the low side. I charged the unit again and tested. This time the compressor came on and sounded healthy, and I verified cooling present in the refrigerator. If oil ends up causing another restriction or issue we need to contact tech line again for possible product review. At this time all is working as designed. Parts used - WPW10143759."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making abnormal noises. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that after the last repair, the unit has been making a ticking noise. I did confirm a slight ticking noise coming from what appeared to be the back of the unit. As soon as I pulled the unit out, I found the ticking stop. I found the issue was with the tags and tape that was on the power cord tapping against the back of the unit due to the condenser fan airflow coming out of the back of the unit. I take everything down and push the unit back. I found no abnormal sounds present anymore. The unit is now working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

I dont say for a refrigerator that has a broken mullion. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the mullion broke off when they were closing the door and they also have a light out in the refrigerator section. She did not know if the mullion had something to do with the lights or not. I did advise the customer that they are not in a Siri circuit so that would not be causing the issue. I checked the hall sensors and found the unit showing doors opening and closing properly. I gained access to the refrigerator LED assembly and checked voltage going to the LED. I found 12.7 V going to the LED module indicating the LED module had failed. Ordering the LED module and will return with the center mullion. The office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to an out of stock and PSP item. No parts were installed.; ordrng 1 W11470191 (Module)

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that when they try to dispense ice, they can hear the motor running, but they cant get the unit to dispense ice. I checked the impeller and found the impeller was stripped on the motor. I went ahead and replace the impeller, motor, spacer, and divider and test of the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I found the cid bin full of ice and was clumped up under the ice maker and the tray was full of ice. I attempted to remove the ice bin and was unable to due to the amount of ice built up under the ice maker (photo). I was able to get the ice dispenser to dispense some of the ice and break up the ice that was clumped together and then removed the ice bin. It appears that the unit sat for a long period of time and the ice would sweat during defrost and then freeze together causing it to clump up. I tested the ice maker and it failed to harvest. I removed and replaced the ice maker and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11700250"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they can hear a loud noise coming from the upper to mid back wall area of the RC section. I removed the lower crisper drawer and found a small amount of ice at the bottom of the RC evap cover (photo) and the unit is currently operating as I can hear the fans and compressor operating. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the RC evap fan and found it operating as designed. While in diagnostics, I forced a defrost in test 91 and pulled the unit out onto my floor protector to gain access to the drain tube and hv control at the back of the unit. I found the drain tube badly gapped (photo) and sealed the gap with silicone. Gained access to the hv control and tested the thermistors at the P5 connector. At P5-1 to 2 I found 15.99 kohms and from P5-3 to 4 I found 7.05 kohms. Both readings well within kohms readings telling me the thermistors are good. Also go 4.9VDC at the P5 connector on the hv control. While unit was defrosting, I could hear the water hitting the elements and making the sizzling noise. I tested Voltage at the P2-5 to P1-2, for the RC defrost element and got 120V. Unit is operating as designed and with the drain tube being gapped, it was allowing warm air to flow up to the RC evaporator and create moisture/ice build up. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

Arrived on site to diagnose vent hood with non functional blower. Ran unit and found blower spins but it makes an excessive amount of grinding and noise. I replaced the blower motor with new to resolve. Ran unit and verified proper operation. Parts used - WPW10291577

Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with no power. Customer informed me issue got resolved by his neighbor and service is no longer needed. No repairs performed.

Arrived on site for washer not completing cycles. On arrival found type of soap used was pods and the style of tub the unit has is much smaller compared to most standard tubes. "MTW5870TW0 Arrived on site for unit filling with water and immediately draining. Upon arrival, started Normal cycle on Regular and noticed water entering unit pulsating. Upon further inspection, found drain standpipe to be way too deep. Adjusted drain pipe to proper length (picture attached) and immediately flowed naturally. Unit prompted to go to rinse and spin naturally. Unit is now functioning as designed. No water leaks detected at this time. No parts replaced"

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not getting water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. I found the valve getting energized and voltage (121V), but no water entering the unit and the water valve under the sink is turned on. I disconnected the water hose from the dishwasher inlet valve and turned the water on under the sink and no water came out of the hose (photo). I turned the water off and pulled the unit out from the cabinets and found the hose kinked at the cabinet (photo). Adjusted the hose and reattached it to the inlet valve on the dishwasher and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to test unit for screeching noise. Upon arrival customer stated unit was screeching during the cycle then one day it started sensing and cycle did not start. Ran diagnostic cycle, heard motor engaging but unit did not agitate or spin. Gained access to the bottom of the unit and found cam has burned through the pulley shield due to basket dropping to the floor. Also found belt has been thrown off causing no agitation and spin. Replaced cam (W10721967), actuator (W10913953), and belt (WPW10006384). Ran diagnostic cycle, during spin unit made a loud whirring sound indicating a failed gearcase. Will need to order a new gearcase and additional parts to ensure completion. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is freezing items in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they just loaded up groceries inside of the refrigerator but that they have been having ongoing issues with items freezing in the refrigerator section in multiple locations. I did find multiple items pushed against the back wall, and the customer advised that that has not been the case until recently. She stated that when the items for freezing, there wasnt a whole lot in it. I did tell the customer that not having a lot of items in the refrigerator can cause this issue, due to colder than normal temperatures and the ability for the cold air to cool down items within the refrigerator section. I did go ahead and replace the control and the thermistor just to be sure. I tested the unit and found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. WPW10384183 and W11594670."

Arrived onsite for a washer giving an F8E1 low flow error to possibly replace a valve. I tested all three valves in manual loads and found all three filling the machine in 37-38 seconds and working as designed. I went over with the tenant the issues they have been having and they stated at times it is not draining. I had found no issues with the drain pump and I went over detergent use and amounts with the tenant. I also went over clean washer instructions with the tenant. At this time the machine is functioning as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED.

"Arrived on site to test unit for ice clumping in bin. Upon arrival customer presented issue, there is an ice sheet on the bottom of the ice container. Tested unit found ice try filled with too much water creating an ice sheet, when harvesting, that ice sheet did not break and release the cubes, instead it popped the ice try out of the ice motor. Unit think cubes were harvested and filled with water, when filling all the water went into the ice container causing an ice sheet. Will need to order filter assembly and pressure regulator as precautionary. In order to turn the water off, install the pressure regulator and install the filter assembly unit will need to be pulled out of the cavity, two man required.
