Arrived on site to replace heating element due to special project. Replaced heating element job complete

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is not responding to touch. Upon inspection I found that the power cord was wired properly and there was good voltage too. I also found good voltage in and out of the control. To the panel but yet it would not respond. I replaced the panel and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete

"WED5000DW2 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the motor sluggish to start and I removed and replaced per prior tech and technical assistance recommendations. The replacement motor had the same issue and I retested the unit and electrical supply. During motor startup, there was a very large voltage drop on the L1 line. Unloaded voltage was 122.4 and the low point reached during motor startup was 62.9. The voltage only came back up to 113.2 until the motor was deactivated and then it went back to the 122 VAC. Monitoring L2, it was initially at 122.5, but when the motor was activated, it jumped to 132.7, which should not have occurred as the heat was off and there is no other internal connection to L2. As a furtherance to testing, I swapped L1 and L2 and obtained similar results. I corrected back to the normal L1 and L2 arrangement and disconnected L2 and monitored L1. There was a 1.1 volt increase during startup to 64VAC and the running voltage was also 113VAC with L2 completely disconnected. Under normal expected conditions, less than 10VAC drop is usually noted during startup and 1VAC or less is the difference from an unloaded circuit with the motor running. L1 to L2 at rest was 245.1, motor only was 244.5 and the addition of heat was 237.7, which is too much drop on a 240 line. The CX will need to contact a qualified electrician to correct the electrical supply issue and it is likely that no other repairs will be needed."

Arrived on site to test unit for loud noise. Found bad motor replaced motor test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not starting any cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and check voltage to the unit found 120 V from line 1 to neutral, 120 V from line 2 to neutral, and 1 V from line 1 to line 2 indicating an electrical supply issue. Check voltage at the plug and did confirm the same results. I advise the customer that they have lost one leg voltage and are not receiving the proper voltage to power the machine. The customer will need to contact an electrician for further assistance. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for range oven not reaching temperature. Upon arrival used thermals couple to record temperature. Found unit running a little high 25-30 degrees. Found unit was calibrated +30 degrees. Spoke to customer and stated 3rd party inspected and said unit was under temperature, not reaching 300 degrees . This is not the case . Adjusted calibration back down to only +15. Unit is heating and cycling correctly. Job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop knob being melted. Upon further inspection, I found the far right knob (front right burner knob) outer cover melted. Due to the front right burner being one of the higher temp burners, I advised the customer that they cannot place large pots and pans on the burner as the flame will spread and cause the knobs to melt. Also, customer advised that the burners dont get hot enough. I advised the customer that due to the design, the grates sit higher off the burners than most cooktops which may appear that the unit is not getting hot enough. Tested all burners and all are operating as designed with appropriate flames. I recommended that the customer contact the manufacturer to discuss replacing the knob. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. Unable to get customers signature due to ticket not downloading before technician left the home."

Arrived on site for a dryer that will pop open intermittently throughout the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it doesnt always happen but she will come through her dryer and find that the unit is paused only to find the door open in the middle of the cycle. She did advise that it is not an issue with Her kids or herself. Did verify the issue and found the catch worn but the screws on the hinges not fully seated and screwed in. Fixed the screws and replaced the catch and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for unbalanced/ noisy washer OPERATIONS-UNBALANCED/VIBRATE/SHAKE. Upon arrival ran and there are no saved error codes. Inspected suspension and is shot. Also during manual spin test unit makes loud screeching sound. Found cam pulley and belt slick with oil. Found gearcase oil on shield and dripping down cam from gearcase. Need to replace suspension, gearcase, belt, and cam. Ordering gearcase, belt, and cam. Also ordering wash plate. Arrived onsite for a ice machine that is not Functioning properly. Up onsite I found that the Pump Harness was corroded along with the connectors on the pump assembly side. Which can cause a unit to malfunction as signals cannot travel along the wires without impedance. ordrng 1 WP2310092 (HARNS-PUMP)

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. CX complaint not dispensing ice and water. Found that CX has not used ice in the last 6 month or so and ice was badly clumpy. Removed bucket that was stuck and cleaned it it for the CX. Tested the icemaker and found the UI child locked so it would not dispense water. Unlocked it and its now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service.

Arrived onsite for a dryer to install the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the heater assembly and installed a bearing kit. I tested the dryer and found it working as designed. "Arrived onsite for a cooktop with the burner valves not turning. The CV stated the left, left center, and center burner knobs would not work. I found the left center and center burner valves both locked up and they will require replacing. The left burner valve turns but the burner doesnt lite correctly because the orifice is dirty. The two burner valves need to be replaced and all the orifices cleaned. ; ordrng 1 WB19T10093 (Valve)"

Arrived onsite for Noise During Spin . Upon arrival unit is in apartment 1207. Ran and there are no saved error codes. Ran unit on manual test to test high speed spin per service pointer. Unit is squeaking during spin test. Found cam pulley completely worn. Replaced cam W10721967 and test unit. Unit now only speaks briefly at beginning of spin test. Inspected belt and seems a little loose. Need to replace belt. Ordering belt. ordrng 1 W11239857 (Belt)

Arrived onsite for a wall oven that beeps like its trying to warm up but never does and gives an err message. I found out from the CX that it was the upper oven causing the issue. I tested the oven and found it working as designed. It reached set point and started cycling. I powered the unit off with the knobs and started a bake cycle again. When adjusting the temp control the unit started beeping and temps started bouncing around on the display. I also found the convection fan motor locked up. The temp control potentiometer and the fan motor will need to be replaced. I also explained to the customer the temp control would have to be replaced but there is a possibility the main control could have an issue

Arrived on site to replace tub and doors and spray arms. Replaced all parts and found upper rack tubing broken too. Will need to order new tubing office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 WPW10340542 (Manifold)

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not making ice and taking 2 days to freeze water. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found previous issues Whirlpool tech line recommended replacing the control. However unit is having intermittent defrost issues. Found Frost buildup on evaporator cover. Per known issue will need to order and replace the UI And evaporator thermistor as well. Will need to order UI and thermistor. Customer to have unit manually defrosted 48 hrs prior to next appointment. Arrived on site for refrigerator making a loud noise. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found compressor and condenser fan running and unit cooling fine. Found evap fan motor in fc had cuts in the blade from mounts failing and leaning against evap cover. "Arrived on site for oven, inspected unit and work area. CX complaint was oven not heating. Found bake not heating only broil and convection. Pulled unit out from wall and gained access to the elements and ohm all three and they where all good. Tested voltage and found no voltage to bake. Gained access to control and found corrosion on the board, unit sits under counter top and at one point something got spilled and got to the control. Will need new control board.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is flashing an F2 E2 (HMI disconnected) error code and is not accepting any selections. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they had previously had this issue before and were at able to unplug and replug in the unit to get it to work. However, they advised that this time there have been unsuccessful in getting the unit to work whether they power cycle the unit or attempt to reset it. Did confirm upon plugging in the unit that the unit would not allow me to press the power button to turn on the unit after the power failure message and would eventually flash the F2 E2 error code. Attempted to spend the dial and press all keys and found none with work. Removed the user interface and attempted to correct all ribbon cables inside the user interface. Reassembled the unit and still had the same issue. Due to number of issues with this washer, ordering the user interface and control for repair. Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not cycling properly. Found lock assembly not unlocking door and water level sensor misregistering. Arrived on site to test unit for door not closing correctly. Test unit and found bad hinges. Will need to replace hinges and arms. Customer said it was a really tight fit when they put it in and its sitting on boards to leveled it. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit showing error code F4E3. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Once the water dispensed into the tub, the motor failed to come on (F4E3). I advanced through testing and the dispenser, drain pump and element all operated as designed. I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly (W11025157 ) and retested. I placed my multimeter on the black wire at the junction box during retest and found the element drawing 7-9amps during wash and drying cycles. Unit is operating as designed. Made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and found bad upper door switch and blown fuse. Replaced the fuse and the upper door switch. Set clock and tested cycle unit let out low hum and blew fuse again upon first test cycle. This will mean the transformer and the mag cap and diode should be replaced together which exceeds the value of the microwave.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the left and right rollers. I tested the isolation valve and found it working. When I went to test the outlet from the reservoir it was working also and the unit started dispensing water. The line at the reservoir or at the valve must have frozen at the tip. I could not find any air leaks that caused this. I advised the customer to turn the refrigerator temp to 39 degrees and see what happens.

"Arrived to inspect no power. I found the unit had correct line VAC to it and there was a fast-blink error on the main control, which was still the early trapezoidal shaped version. There was no response from the UI and the main control indicator had a 1X blink, denoting lost communications to the UI. After power cycling, the unit went back to normal operations. I found no additional failures, but per MFG instructions, the board should be programmed. Office to order programmer and contact the CX to arrange return service. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making irregular noises during the wash cycle and is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit to . Found the motor spinning but the basket would not. Check underneath the unit and found that the belt had fallen off of the cam and the cam bolt had fallen off causing the cam to slip down. Found both cam and belt worn. Replaced both parts and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for washer not spinning clothes out completely. Customer stated, occasionally has to run drain and spin at the end of a cycle to get clothes spun out. "Arrived on site for dishwasher, inspected unit and work area. CX complaint was door not closing correctly. I found that the screws on the brackets are lose. Also the cavity where dishwasher sits is to large and they have concrete floors and the machine likes to slide on the floor. Tested unit unit in and everything checked good. Arrived onsite for a dryer to replace the previous diagnose parts. I replaced the UI controland tested the dryer on high heat. I found the dryer cycling between 143-157 degrees and working as designed. I found the vent clear.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water from the bottom. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they washed a queen size comforter and found water under the unit at the bottom of the front panel. I placed the unit in s showing no error codes and tested. The unit operated as designed with no visible leaks. I found at the bottom of the front panel, in the center just below the door, some dry water streaks (photo). I pulled the unit out and removed the back panel and retested and still no leaks found. I advised the customer that where the door meets the bellow at the bottom is possibly leaking due to the bellow not being clean. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles and is making clicking sounds. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through ///s and found an F7 E6 (motor fault) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit agitating with a whole basket instead of just the agitator. Checked underneath the unit and found that the cam had been broken due to the gearcase droppings. The unit would need a new gear case, cam, and belt for repair

"Arrived to inspect no washing. I entered service test mode and found 7-1 and 5-1 codes stored in memory. I found all functions were present, but the circulation pump would not operate and I verified line VAC to it. I removed and replaced the sump assembly and tested. The unit operated as designed. No leaks observed during service.

"WFG525S0JS0 Arrived to inspect no bake or broil. I verified correct voltage to the DSI unit and the bake and broil voltages were also present when set. Flexing the DSI board caused momentary ignition and I found a failed solder joint on the board. I removed and replaced the board and tested. All regular functions returned and the unit ignited and cycled as designed. The bake air shutter required adjustment and after, the raw gas odor and blowtorch sound were corrected. No gas leaks detected during service.

"Arrived onsite for a washing machine that has a torn bellow and is leaking from the door. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the bellow torn on he bottom front corner. Replaced the bellow and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present

Arrived onsite for dryer that is no longer heating. Upon inspection I found that the unit was not producing and heat but would tumble. I check the heating element and found that it showed open I installed and tested new heating element and found that the unit is now operating as designed.

"Arrived to inspect unit not agitating. I found F7E5 and F2E1 stored in memory. Upon inspection of the gear case, I found the seals had ruptured and there was a large amount of oil that had leaked out. I removed and replaced the gear case, splutch and belt and re-calibrated the unit. Full testing showed all prior issues were resolved. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite and found unit had caught a sheet under washplate. Found unit with no obvious catches or grooves on the washplate. Customer requested washplate be replaced. Completed repair. All checks good

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=46 and RC=54. I found the UI with digits fading/ missing. I pulled the u;it out and tested the thermistors from the hv control. RC thermistor reading was 5.88 kohms at 1.6VDC and FC thermistor reading was 7.38 kohms at 2.6VDC, which by comparing to my chart, the readings are close but a little out of range. Checked the inverter voltage and it is at 3.88VDC which is on the low side but still within range. And the compressor is showing .89amps. Due to the UI digits not reading properly and the unit hv control VDC readings being on the low side, as are the thermistors,

Arrived on site to diagnose a range that is not baking properly. Found bake ignitor faulty and replaced it. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time.

Arrived on site to test unit for acting erratic and not responding. got no stored error codes. Ran cycle and unit working as designed. Spoke with Techline and was advised must be an interference within home causing issue. Advised customer to use unit and when acting erratic notate what in the home is being used or powered on and to run extension cord different outlet. Currently no issues with unit. No leaks detected. Removed evaporator cover found weak frost pattern on only frost row of evaporator coil,found uv on right side of evaporator diagnosed unit will need a new evaporator,filter drier and access valve,tested dispenser motor,shaft not rotating but motor powering on unit will need a new shaft.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and found that the element is not illuminating the back left vent area. Tested voltage and unit is getting 241V. I disassembled the unit and tested the element, cutoff, thermostat and fuse and found the element is bad. Removed the element and found the metal plate in the element was badly warped/burnt. I replaced the element and tested and unit is operating as designed. I reassembled the unit and retested and unit continues to operate as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for CLOTHES ARE NOT SPUN DRY AT END OF THE CYCLE. Upon arrival Ran and There were no error codes. Ran test on automatic cycle and all components operate correctly.Found that the spin speed selection was set to the slowest speed causing article to stay too wet. Ran normal cycle with blanket. Unit operates as designed.Advised customer to ensure faster spin speed is selected especially during bulky loads. Job complete

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that will not make ice or dispense water. I tested voltage at the isolation valve and was only getting 3VAC. I tested voltage at the control from J2-1 to J1-3 and had 120VAC. I then tested voltage from J2-1 at the control to the orange wire at the isolation valve and only had 3VAC. I explained to the customer that the neutral wire is broken in the chassis

Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the drain pump and ran the cycle. The unit is draining properly and working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that is not cleaning dishes properly, upon arrival the cx showed me what she means and showed me that the unit was leaking a film on the dishes. I ran the unit in mode and found unit operating as designed. I call techline and spoke to Leon about my finding and the complete and it was determined that the unit is operating as designed, he then suggested that the cx try using a different detergent switching from tabs to liquid. I relayed this information to the cx and she will try the liquid detergent and monitor. Job complete st# 7735065593."

"Arrived on site for dryer, inspected unit and work area. CX complaint was dryer not turning on. Tested voltage and was good. Gain access to fuses and found the thermal fuse open. Replaced part and tested unit is now operating as designed, but I did find poor air flow I suggested CX to replace the exhaust hose as it was getting pinched, CX had one in hand so I replaced it for him.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I test3d temps in the FC=26 degrees. I found frost built up on the FC evap cover. Tested the unit in defrost and found the defrost thermistor bad. Forced defrost and found the element heating up. I tested the defrost thermistor and got 3.246 kohms which shows to be approximately 70 degrees in the FC section. When I placed the unit in , the UI lights began to flash out of sequence. Also found the right RC door gasket badly torn in the bottom right corner allowing warm air into the unit.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has fries building up in the freezer section and is making a noise during operation. Inspected unit and work area. Did find evidence of a defrost issue in the freezer section. Gained access to the control and checked resistance through the heater and found the heater registering 29.6 ohms and within range. Checked all thermistors for temperatures. Found the evaporator thermistor reading 13.95 k ohms (17?F), the freezer thermistor reading 23.7 k ohms (0?F), and the refrigerator reading 4 k ohms (53?F). I advise the customer that the issue appeared to be with the freezer evaporator thermistor and potentially a control issue.

Arrived onsite for cooktop with bent stems. On inspection the bent stems were on the ends of the manifold. Replaced the manifold and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed. No gas leaks detected during service.
