"Arrived on site to inspect venthood turning on by itself. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the venthood would turn on by itself and the light s would turn off and on. I tested the unit by pressing the buttons on the control and could not duplicate the issue. Customer advised its intermittent. I removed the push button control and inspected the connections and they were good. I inspected the connections at the transformer and they were good as well. Due to the intermittent issues, I removed and replaced the push button control and retested for several minutes. Unit is operating as designed. I advised the customer of my repairs. Job completed."

The softener dispenser bezel would not stay in place and will require replacement as well. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the motor and tested the unit. The unit would start to spin and then completely shut the control off altogether for a second and then come back on but would exit diagnostics. I then replaced the lower harness and tested the unit. I still have the same issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7735264554. He had me run through a couple checks by disconnecting the rotary switches and several components on the washer while trying to activate the spin cycle. We still have the same issue with the unit not actually fully going into spin. He advised to replace the control again and to call back if further issues persist.
