"WRS315SNHM00 Arrived to inspect leaking. The unit had leaked one time after our latest service. I inspected the drain tube and found it free of plugging. The FC chamber to drain sleeve had limited compression, but not enough to restrict flow, during my observations. Inspection of the drain area within the FC revealed a dime-sized piece of foam that was loose in the area and able to move into the upper portion of the drain and then away from it, causing the intermittent overflow through the FC chamber. I removed the debris and tested and the drain worked as designed. In the unlikely event there are further issues, the drain will require a stint, but it is unlikely and should be ad unless necessary. No leaks observed during service. Warranty applied to service."

Arrived onsite for a wall oven that gave an error and said to call for service. I checked stored error codes and found an F8E1 error. The customer stated it only did it once and hasnt errored again with them using the oven since. I tested low fan speed on both ovens and found upper 1312 rpm lower 2137 rpm. I called techline and spoke with Austin to verify if the speeds listed in an older service manual were correct and he said yes low speed range is 400-3000 rpm. I explained to the customer both fans were within range at this time. I rebooted the oven and erased the error. All is working as designed at this time.

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they recently set the time on the oven control panel and its now 6 minutes faster than the actual time. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F6E4. Cleared the code and checked to see if the unit was connected to wifi in the settings function and it was not. Following the tech sheet, I removed and replaced the main control and tested. The customer advised that they do not have their internet connected in the home. I advised the customer to download the whirlpool app on their phone and follow the steps in connecting the unit to WiFi. I demonstrated on the oven where they needed to go in the settings function and provided the whirlpool WiFi connect temp phone number if they needed assistance or they could contact our office and request to speak to me and I would help them set the WiFi up on the oven. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts.I finished removing the ice that was left on the FC evaporator and I found one of the thermal fuses open in the heater harness. I replaced the evaporator fan assembly with the thermal fuses. I removed the remainder of the ice on the RC evaporator. I found the evaporator bowed out against the cover. I installed parts from the drain pan kit to correct this. I replaced the RC evaporator fan and the UI. I tested the unit and found it cooling down and working as designed. I explained to the customer that the unit should be cool enough by tonight to start making ice if the icemaker is good. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise if they had a load that they had washed back in December that never finished and left water at the bottom of the washer. Since then, whenever they go to start a cycle, the unit will just flash them. Did find an F9 E1 (long drain) error code flashing on the screen. Placed the unit into a drain and spin and found that the unit would lock and unlock but then do nothing. Gained access to the control and measured resistance to the drain pump. Found it open. Checked underneath and checked resistance on the drain pump and found 19.8 ohms of resistance. Checked through the harness and found that the neutral wire from the control connector and the drain pump connector was open. Found the neutral wire split underneath the washer. Add a male and female connector to both wires and reconnected the wiring. Tested the unit and the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

The position sensor switch for the diverter assembly was not seated and below the plug retainer, causing the unit to not read diverter position. I corrected the plug position and tested. I noticed that the vent tube was squished a bit causing a small restriction of air flow. I then checked the thermal fuse and all of the thermistors and found them good. I checked the heating element and found that it showed open. I replace it and tested the unit and found that the unit is now operating as designed. Customer is aware that poor airflow can cause this issue to happen again. Job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect range gas leak. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they had accidentally left one the burner valves in the on position overnight and had the gas company check the gas supply and it was reported that the back right burner was leaking gas. I turned the gas supply on and tested the cooktop burners and the bake and broil burners and all are operating as designed. Using my gas leak detector on High sensitivity, I checked the cooktop burners and valves and found no leaks. I tested the oven and found no leaks. Checked the regulator and found no leaks. I demonstrated for the customer and showed them there are no leaks on the unit. I advised that due to the amount of time the valve was left open, it would take a while for the excess gas to dissipate. I advised the customer that there no issues with the unit as it tested good and no leaks have been found.No leaks detected during service, job completed."

I ran a cycle and found that the recirculating pump hose was kinda clogged. I removed the top to washer and gained access and removed the tub ring and found build up around causing it to leak out. I advised customer to run about 8 cleaning cycles 4 with afresh and 4 with out and to skip one in between. Unit should be working fine after.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is tripping the breaker the in plugged in. Up arrival the customer advised me that they had wired the unit in themselves. Upon inspection I found that the power at the wall was good along with the polarity. I plugged the unit in and found that it tripped the bracket. I unplugged it the turned the bracket back one and unplugged P9 - MOTOR/L1 connector and plugged the unit back in and found that the breaker stayed on this time I plugged in the p9 connector and it tripped. I then gained access to the motor and unplugged it and turd the breaker back on and it stayed on this time too. Checked for errors and found no errors present. Advised customer that per tech line recommendations, steamy items need to be covered in a baking bag, cover etc to reduce the amount of steam that contacts the UI. User interface responds to moisture, which needs to be minimized to make console more consistent. Customer also advised that they need to install the whirlpool app to update the software on the unit. Customer doesn't have a smart phone, but will have their son install and update software. Unit working as designed, steam just needs to be accounted for on this style of touch screen. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator leaking water under the icemaker and ice build up in the bottom of the FC. I found the fill tube limed up at the end of it causing water to spray and not all of it going into the icemaker. I found the drain tube bad on the FC and the drip pan froze over. I removed the ice from the FC, replaced the drain tube, and cleaned the fill tube. I tested the drip pan and it drains. I tested the icemaker and the mold fills with water correctly and nothing leaks. All is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service.

The customer advised that she wasnt sure if there was an actual issue but there is some stuff in the bottom of her refrigerator liner next to the waterlines and she wasnt sure if there was an issue with water for tubes. Remove the bottom shelf and found the tubes were covered in a orangish silicone attached to th bottom for the refrigerator liner where the lines go out. They explained that this is normal but did offer to remove and re-silicone with a white silicone in her refrigerator liner. The customer advised that she did not want any repair done if that was normal she just didnt know what was going on because she had never seen that before. She advised that she hasnt cleaned out her refrigerator up until recently and did not know if that was normal or not and just wanted to have it checked. Call complete.
