"arrived on site for the cooktop that still smells like gas. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and did find that fixed their gas line going into the regulator. Disassembled the unit and tested all connectors for any signs of a gas leak. Could not get any bubbles to form even with the gas turned on. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7735730709. He advised that because of the fact that the customer stated that she can smell gas more when the unit is not cooking, that the issue would have to be with one of the gas valves and to just replace them all. I called Whirlpool Safety team and spoke to Lakeisha SR# 7735730709. She advised that she would update the notes on the file and to just go ahead and proceed with Techlines recommendation for now. "4140I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Derek SR# 7735726980. Advised that the issue would most likely be with the water level sensor or evaporator thermistor based on all the information. He had me disconnect the wiring to the water level sensor and found evidence of mold, mildew, and corrosion on the wiring connectors. The unit will need a new reservoir drain pump, recirculation pump, water level sensor, and wiring harness for repair. Ordering the reservoir drain pump and the office will need to contact the extended warranty for authorization and the customer on her return trip. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they had baked some pizzas and then when they went to turn the unit off, the display on the control was blank. I pulled the unit out and tested the outlet and it had 125V. I tested the cooktop burners and they are operating as designed. I tested voltage at the control and its getting 125V. "Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which is a loud screeching metal on metal noise. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the high speed spin mode. I could not duplicate the noise. I tilted the unit back and inspected the components underneath and found gearcase oil on the rotor (photos). I removed the rotor and found oil on the underside of the rotor and on the slider. I advised the customer of my findings. I am ordering the gearcase, clutch, slider and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and scheduled return service for 02/17/23 (KC). "Arrived on site to inspect range oven making a ticking sound. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is making a ticking sound when they bake on a low setting. I tested the unit on Bake at 175 degrees and when the ignitor began to arc, I could hear the noise coming from the main control and the customer identified the noise as well. I pulled the unit out and removed he back panel and retested the unit. Once the ignitor began to arc, the noise reappeared and the noise was coming from one of the relays on the control. I stopped testing and tested the unit in broil mode and the ticking did not come back. I stopped testing and placed the unit back in bake mode and again the noise reappeared. The unit continued to operate as designed. It seems the control is not recognizing the ignitor had arced and the burner came on. I am ordering the main control and Bake ignitor and will return with all prescreened parts. Scheduled return service for 02/27/23 per customer request. Had the customer show me how she was starting her washer and found the customer was just pressing the start button without holding it causing the machine not to fully start the cycle. I did explain to the customer that she needs to hold the start button for at least three seconds or until all five of the lights turn on indicating that the machine is ready to go to start the cycle. "JS42PPDUDE01 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I removed the failed ice maker, noting the coating was coming off at the corner closest to the gear head and replaced it. The unit cycled and filled the the appropriate level. No leaks observed during service, operated test good."

"Arrived to inspect intermittent power loss and cycle pausing. I discussed the issue with the customer and found several times the unit had stalled during use and the UI had no indicators illuminated. Pressing the start button caused the unit to start back up and complete the cycle. The customer also later relayed that the breaker had tripped a few times. Upon entering the service test mode, F8E1 was the only stored code and I cleared for testing. I found no indication of valve failure (denoted by stored error code) and the unit completed and passed all tests. At the end of testing, during the final water valve actuation, I spotted a substantial arcing that could be seen through the relay for the valve, during actuation. I removed and replaced the control and tested. I suspect the prior arcing may have been tripping the breaker, likely an AFI type. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for a wall oven not heating and a display screen issue. After speaking with the customer they stated they had a home inspection performed before their 1 year was up and the oven is getting to hot. I tested the oven at 350 degrees and found preheat reaching 405 degrees. I found it cycling between 342-385 degrees leaving it with a 363 degree average temp. I put a -15 degree offset in the oven and found it averaging 348 degrees. All is working as designed. I also found that the unit was not connected to WiFi and I explained to the customer that they needed to download the Whirlpool app and showed Mr how to connect the unit. I also gave him the phone number to the Whirlpool WiFi team call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. When I tapped the system I found it flat. I replaced the compressor and drier adding a access valve to the compressor. I pump 130 psi of nitrogen in the system and sprayed leak detector on the condenser and yoder loop lokrings, on the evaporator and solder joints and on the access ports in the liner for the heat exchanger finding no leaks. There was no pressure drop after 45 minutes. I vacuumed the system and it held a vacuum for 15 minutes. I charged the system with 5.5 ounces of R134A. I tested the unit and the evaporator was frosting well. I explained to the customer what I had found and advised to keep an eye on ice production for at least two weeks and to not load the unit up with a bunch of product during this time. Call complete."

Tested the boiler function in diagnostics and found the boiler coming on. I asked the customer if they were broiling with the door open and they advised they had been. I did explain to the customer that due to safety precautions, the door has to remain closed in order to broil their food. The customer asked how they were supposed to check on their food while its boiling without the door open and I did advise that they would have to look through the window in order to keep an eye on it. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with frost in the freezer. Customer showed me that items on the drawers had some frost on them. Frost appears to be result of an air leak. Liner is sealed already, so no need to reseal. Found items in the pizza pocket, which will keep the door from closing. Checked gasket with inspection mirror and found no gaps at all, so at leak had to be from items keeping door from closing. No other failures found. Customer advised to make sure door fully closes and nothing gets stuck in that pocket. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, I pressed the cancel button to turn the drain pump on. The pump came on but I found no water going into the disposal. Customer advised the disposal is new as is the dishwasher. I removed the drain hose from the disposal and found the knock out plug still intact. I removed the plug and tested the drain pump,again and this time the water drained from the unit. Placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for dishwasher tripping breaker. On inspection found the dishwasher is pulling 1.5amps during wash cycle and 9amps during heat cycle. Found that the breaker is a ACI/GFI BREAKER. Told customer that needs to a 20 amp regular breaker. Customer will contact builder No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site and inspected dryer and found no power showing. Washer and dryer are in an inset alcove and are difficult to access, took pictures. Disassemble dryer and found cut off, thermal fuse, and element are good. Replaced control board and control panel and dryer will now run. Airflow is showing restricted on meter and recommended to homeowner that vent to the exterior be cleaned/cleared by a service. job complete"

Arrived on site to replace previously ordered parts for dishwasher. Replaced upper and third level sprayers. Cleaned lower sprayer and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the freezer cooling but didnt notice the freezer section had a huge defrost issue. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did verify the damper door opening and closing. And the tests I found the defrost thermostat the issue at fault. Checked all other components and could not get the unit to run in a forced defrost. Gained access to the control and shed resistance through the bimetal and found it open. Did verify proper resistance from the orange wire to the white wire indicating a good circuit through the defrost heater but when checking resistance from the brown (defrost thermostat) wire to the neutral wire, it showed no resistance. Ordering the freezer harness and will return ; ordrng 1 W11260592 (Freezer harness)"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit by opening the door and pressing the door switch closed and turning the unit on. I found the ignitor coming on but no gas being ignited. I tested the coils and found points 1-2 was at 1400 kohms, points 1-3 were open and points 4-5 were 1300. I tested ohms at the ignitor and its was at 110.5 ohms. I tested the thermostats and all were good.. I am ordering the valve assembly and scheduled return service. "Arrived on site for dryer, inspected unit and work area. Customer complaint was dryer was not working from the freeze. Unit was displaying error code F3E3 gained access to test the thermistor and found a nest from some rotten in the exhaust tube. Cleaned out the nest. Tested the thermistor and showed open. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was constantly dispensing ice or water, happens to both. Found if unit is unlocked and paddle is not pushed, unit just dispenses nonstop. I can not hear the switch clicking at all, likely due to a failed dispenser switch. Valve is good, but switch seems to have failed. Provided estimate for switch replacement (including other parts on the same track that may be broken). . "WRS325SDHZ00 Arrived to inspect no cool. The customer said the unit got warmer over time and they could hear a click periodically. I found the unit would not start and there was an audible sizzling sound from the start device. It drew 14 amps and then went into shutdown. I found the windings at 6.7 and 5.4, S to R was 10.5 and out of acceptable range for start device only replacement. The unit will require the compressor, service port and dye drier. I found no signs of refrigerant leaks and the evaporator is unlikely needed. Office to set service for sealed system replacement and schedule two hours.
