The customer advised that the house was her daughters house and she was unsure as to what exactly was going on with it. I plugged the unit in and immediately saw sparks coming from the back of the unit. Unplug the unit and remove the back cover. Found that the high limit thermostat had completely blown and the wire harness surrounding it. I had completely grounded against the blower wheel housing. Arrived onsite for a no cool refrigerator. I found the evaporator completely frosted over and put the unit in a forced defrost but the heater was not turning on. Diagnostics showed a failed defrost thermistor. The customer stated that he had only had the refrigerator for a couple of months but could not find the POP at this time. I explained that I would order the parts needed for the issue and went over defrost instructions explaining to fully defrost 48 hours before we return but also explained that he needed to contact the office and send in the POP for the repair to get covered under warranty. Arrived onsite for a vent hood that is having issues where the grid filters will not come out. Upon inspection I found that the only way I could remove the was to use a plastic trim removal tool to pry them out. I contacted Austin at tech line and told him of my findings and it was determined that this issue may have created by an installation error. Up further investigation I found that the back of the hood was not lined up with the rest off the unit I adjusted this and test fitted the grill filters and found that the fit better and were easier to remove and install. Mrs. tested herself and was satisfied with how the filters fit and came out and when back in. sr#7736873389.

I installed the sound barrier tub wrap, and installed the brackets from the installation kit. I explained to the customer that the cabinet is not even because a trim piece needs to be added to the left side. The customer is going to call a handy man to correct the cabinet so the machine can be mounted correctly. I found both tub nuts broken on the right side of the third level rack causing the machine to leak when I tested it. I removed one of the nuts from the left side and installed it on the right side to keep the rail from falling out of the tub. I also found the tub plugs broken and falling out. Arrived on site and inspected cooktop and found fourth valve stem from the left is bent. Attempted to disassemble cooktop but builder does not have it supported correctly and did not leave any slack to lift cooktop up or slide it forward. Either a 9 inch channel will need to be cut in front of the pipe exiting cooktop or pipe will need to be replaced with something that is eight or 9 inches longer to lift cooktop straight up. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with the icemaker still not producing ice or only a couple batches a day at the most. I started testing temps and my thermocouple adapter for my meter broke so I wasnt getting correct temp readings. I tested all functions from the control and found everything passing and working as designed. The icemaker showed an E5 timed ice error message and the icemaker thermistor was reading colder than harvest temperature from the control. Everything in the FC was rock hard and the refrigerator was cold. It appears that the new icemaker that was replaced is bad or there is a possible control failure which is not as likely. Ordering another icemaker but the returning tech needs to take a FC temp and an icebox temp to make sure there are no temp issues. I did find a blanket of dust and lint covering the entire front of the condenser coil and I cleaned it. I set the unit to max ice and asked the customer to see if the bucket was at least a 1/3 full in the morning and to call us if it wasnt. Examined unit and advised customer on slow harvest times on this model icemaker. This unit can take up to 3 days under perfect circumstances to create a full bucket per engineering. The customer stated the oven will work fine for short time cooking but when she trys to run a longtime slow cook for over an hour the error code will show up. I checked the wire connections in the wall finding them good. I inspected the control and found nothing obvious with it. I found the oven working as designed at this time. I erased the stored codes and advised the customer to check the breaker and see if its getting hot when they run long cook times. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised of the unit seems to shut down after the wash cycle and does not spin out the clothes. I ran into through diagnostics and found an F9 E1 (long drain) and F2 E1 (stuck key) error codes, around the unit through an auto test, and the unit ran as designed until it came up to the drain portion of the cycle. Found the unit trying to drain, but I could not hear any water flow. Check the drain hose going into the wall and found that there was a rubber sleeve that the drain hose was fit into. I asked the customer where the unit drains and they advised that it drains through another hose that leads outside. I explain to the customer that the reason why theyre having this issue is because of their installation on their drain system. Advised that the unit is shutting down because it cannot pump out the water well and is causing water to siphon back in after its done trying to drain. Went over the installation guide with the customer and advise that they will need to fix their draining situation in order to get this unit to work properly. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that wont start. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise if the unit does start and run, but that the unit makes a loud buzzing sound at the end of the cycle that tends to wake them up because they run their laundry at night. They advised that the unit does make it through the cycle and does finish but they just bought this and didnt know of there was a way to turn off the buzzer. I did explain to the customer that the cycle signal was responsible for allowing the unit to buzz after the cycle completed. Turned off the cycle signal test at the unit. Arrived on site for dryer making a knocking noise and having a butane or chemical smell. Check element and blower housing . Removed drum and found a chunk of melted plastic stuck to back end of drum where rollovers ride . Removed plastic and ensured drum was smooth . Ran dryer and unit is tumbling quietly . Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not washing dishes. Inspected unit and work area. Ran unit through diagnostics and found an F4 E3 (wash motor not running) error code. Ran the unit Renato test and dick confirmed the wash motor would not turn on. Replaced the pump and motor assembly and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer knob broken. Upon further inspection, I found the knob stem broken from the timer and the customer said the knob was broken and not usable. I removed and replaced the timer and installed a new knob provided by the customer and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for pump not draining. On inspection the unit would not drain the water. Did diagnostic mode and it stopped at the draining cycle. Had to remove the unit to replace the drain pump. Had a difficult time getting the unit out due to the flooring, could not lower the unit any lower. Once removed replace the pump and reinstalled the unit and tested the dishwasher. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site for refrigerator not making ice.upon arrival confirmed issue and ice maker had ice in tray but had stopped operating. Jump start ice maker and found stable 120 v connect but ice maker motor stopped mid harvest and failed to run for 5 minutes straight. Replaced ice maker and retested unit. Found it working as designed with no leaks. Call complete

"Arrived on site for unit shaking, upon arrival, inspected unit and found tub is leaning towards the back of unit. Raised top for inspection. Found that the tub is caught under rear panel. I believe that unit was laid on its back during install and did not set correctly during installation. Inspected suspension and is correct. Set tub correctly . Ran a load of towels and unit spins correctly with no shaking or vibration. Unit is operating as designed. No leaks present at this time"
