MHW8630HC4 arrived on site to inspect A washing machine with F9E1 error code. Placed the unit into service diagnostic mode and found the following error codes F9E1 F5E2 F0E2. Cleared the codes for testing and found all functions working properly except for the drain. Turned the drain pump on and noticed there was no water leaving the he unit. Vacuumed some debris out of the drain hose and tested again and the unit drained as designed. Also found an excessive amount of soap in the drum during testing. Advised the customer of my findings. No water leaks observed during service.

WMH31017HS09 arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon attempt I realized that I could not remove the microwave from the cutout and will need assistance. Requesting second tech or Sr tech for R/S; ordrng 1 2techs (2 techs)

WCG97US0HS05 arrived on site to inspect range going out. Inspected and found the burner caps not properly seated. Adjusted and tested and the burners lit as they are designed to do. Also found that the center burner would go out when turned down. Replaced the manifold and reassembled the unit and tested and the unit operates as designed with no gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for a range with the fan not coming on all the time. The customer stated they see that the fan does seem to start when the oven reaches set point temperature. The customer also stated the unit seems to be cooking everything good. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Steve SR# 7737589219. Steve stated the range is working as designed. I tested the range in the convection bake cycle and the fan started running at 240 degrees and cycled on and off every 10 seconds. I tested it on the air fry setting and the fan cycled the same way after the unit reached set point. I explained to the customer that the unit is working correctly at this time.

Arrived on site for a cooktop that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and went to turn off the breaker to the cooktop. Found the cooktop breaker in the off position. Turned the breaker on and tested the unit. Found the unit working and operating as designed. Did advise the customer that the unit breaker had been turned off. The customer was unaware of where the breaker for the cooktop was. Showed the customer where the breaker was and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a range that is not sealing on the left side. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit took over an hour to preheat and then two hours took something that usually takes an hour to cook. They advised they believed the issue was with the door leaking air. I checked the door and did not find any abnormalities with the door. I preheated the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and found the unit reach preheat within 8 minutes. I watched the unit fluctuate between 405 degrees and 340 degrees, averaging a temperature of 372.5 degrees. The customer complained about the sides of the door being super hot after running the oven for more than an hour. I called Whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Andrew SR# 7737588602. He advised that the unit appeared to be cycling properly, and that in regards to the sides of the doors, being hot, that the inner door runs all the way around to the sides, and what the customer is most likely feeling is the heat transfer from the inner part of the door thats inside of the gaskets heating up the rest of the door I spoke with them about the gaskets themselves as I was able to see light from the top right in the top left-hand sides of the gaskets. He advised that because the gaskets are folded over, there may be a little bit of light that shines through, and that that is perfectly normal. Your boat, since theres no issues with the hinges, inner door, or cabinet, there is nothing to fix on this unit, and this unit is working as designed. He advised to make no repairs at this time, and to refer to the customer over to the cooking surface limits page. I called Whirlpool safety team And spoke to Ann SR# 7737559657. She advised to make no repairs at this time and that this unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise. The machine usually works really well but that he has had three loads. Go off-balance, and all three have been sheets. He advised that when he spoke to customer service, they wanted to send somebody out just in case. I did find the washer unlevel and touching the back and right side panels potentially causing bigger issues with off-balance loads. He advised that he washes several times a week and has not had this issue for the majority part of the time, but just wanted to make sure that everything was all right. No water leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran a test cycle and tested amp draw at the heating circuit. I found 8 amps on the heater circuit and verified the unit heating properly. I instructed the customer to use rinse aid to help the drying process. The unit is operating as designed at this time. No leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite for a DW that is not drying dishes properly. Upon arrived the customer was running the washer and when it cam to the end of the cycle the heater kicked on. Upon further inspection I found that the dispenser was leaking rinse aid. I inspected the sensor and found that it was a little cloudy so I replaced it and tested the ui and found the unit operating as designed no leaks. I then advised the customer on detergent pod use and also to run the hot water at the tap before running the unit.

Talked to MS who will follow up with the customer. I was not able to link either of these failures to the F2E3 code since other components passed diagnostic test. KUIX535HPS00 Arrived for poor ice production. I found the intake for the condenser was plugged and removed the debris and verified good airflow. Further testing revealed the circulation pump/water level sensor assembly W11542867 was malfunctioning and did not sense the lower water level. The pump was also the version covered in Technical Service Pointer #: W11623132 Rev. A and required replacement. All normal functions of the unit resumed. No leaks observed during service.

"MVW7232HW0 Arrived to inspect power loss. I found the unit would not respond to any commands and could not be put into service test mode. Accessing the control, I verified line VAC to it and then tested the drain pump for resistance, showing 20.7 ohms. I jumped the drain pump to remove water from the unit and then jumped the lid lock, after verifying it was intact, resistance wise, via the replacement control and pre-injected the model and S/N into it. All loads showed the expected resistances and I found no shorts to ground. Inspection of the gear case revealed loss of oil and the teeth showed wear in the rotor, suggesting possible rotor lockup during agitate and potentially the cause for the control HV failure. The clutch electromagnetic assembly had signs of potential oil incursion as well. Returning tech will install the gear case, slider, clutch and rotor prior to installing the control. I removed the wash plate to ensure no further installation issues upon return. "MVW5035MW0 Arrived to inspect failing during cycle. The customer started the unit in normal mode and within less than a minute, it illuminated the done indicator and shut off. The motor could be heard to expectedly twitch lightly and then the lid should have locked, but did not and more importantly, did not attempt to lock. From prior experience on this chassis, this may indicate an early-cycle failure to read the expected shifter/cam position and can cause the observed failure. I inspected the shifter area and found slight indication of missed engagements within the cam teeth. Inspecting the shifter, I found and repaired an issue with the circuit and switch board moving within the housing. The unit operated as designed within every subsequent service and customer mode testing. If further issues persist, contact tech GC for further instructions. Notably, the unit fails at several month/week intervals, approximately 20 loads or so, per customer report. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for a cooktop with a gas leak. I used my leak detector and found a leak at the regulator on the manifold side. I found the regulator only screwed on about four threads. I repaired that connection and tested again finding gas coming out of the box at the manifold pipe after the unit had been on a while. I turned the gas off and let the LP clear then turned it back on checking the orifices from left to right. All the orifices showed no leaks until I got to the right rear then the detector picked up a leak and gas started migrating to the left side. Im ordering all manifold and valve parts for this repair. "Arrived on site for washer making a grinding noise. Found f7e1, ran diagnostics and when unit went back to wash from spin at end of diagnostics I confirmed noise coming from actuator. Removed cam and found evidence of oil from gearcase. Removed top panel removed drum. Replaced gearcase, actuator, and splutch. Reassembled and verified operation. Call complete."

Arrived on site for parts for dishwasher not working and panel being damaged. Removed and replaced control panel ( includes new ui) and the main control. Reassembled and verified operation. Call complete. No leaks.

Arrived onsite for washer inlet valve stripped. On inspection the installer used Teflon tape on the threads. The hose couldnt seal against the valve. I removed all the Teflon tape off the threads and installed the hose. I did this on the cold and the hot valves. I turn the water on and waited for 30 minutes to see if the valve would leak. No water leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site for refrigerator making noise. Stops when door is opened. Unit was found unplugged. Cleaners said they had a bunch of towels underneath as it defrosted. Plugged in and ran diagnostics. All sensors passed. Fans working. Diffuser is good. Compressor turns on but had incomplete frost pattern. Tested and verified defrost heater is working. Recommend new compressor. On arrival replaced the temp sensor per previous diag by GP Ran test cycle again and unit did not heat past 225 set at 350. During this test it preheated and then said to insert food. Opened and closed door. Verified probe placement and hit start. 5 min in and the UI fails. Verified voltage to the ui is 14VDC under load. Reached out to service management and was advised to replace both the main and the ui at the same time. Ordering W11375458 console. Used temp probe but unable to verify probe in service mode. Advised to collect on return after further checks completed. Rescheduled for 10/25; ordrng 1 W11375458 (Console)

Arrived on site with parts for timer. Customer had vents professionally cleaned. Removed control panel. Removed and replaced timer and knob. Found unit was not heating. Removed back panel and found thermostat wire had been disconnected. Reassembled and verified operation. Vent is good now. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for ice machine no power. On inspection the breaker was good, the outlet had voltage. I pulled the unit out and when a was removing the drain pump the unit came on. I moved it again and the pump turn off. Installed new pump and tested the unit. It was making ice when I left. The unit is operating as designed."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making a roaring sound. Inspected unit and work area. Checked around the refrigerant lines and found no evidence of noise is being made by any refrigerant lines touching anything. The customer advise if the issue is more prevalent in the freezer. Gained access to the evaporator in evaporator fan and found a big ice pump Above the fan assembly. Found a water trail leading from the icemaker filter up down the backside of the unit. Attempted to drop the icemaker and did confirm that water was leaking from the fill tube and shoot. Was unable to adjust the shoot at all to fix it. spoke to CS and ordered all parts. He said we needed.
