Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with the doors not closing properly. I found the doors were closing good but the top of the freezer gasket was not sealing causing ice build up at the top of the door. The gasket had a divot in it from a shipping foam block. I used my heat gun and warmed the gasket to get it to return to normal shaped and the gasket is now sealing properly. The refrigerator is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which was a clanking or rattling noise during agitation, but would only make the noise when the agitation was going a certain way. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. I could not duplicate the noise the video displayed. I tilted the unit back and removed the rotor and found gearcase oil on the underside of the rotor and on the slider. I advised the customer of my findings and removed and replaced the gearcase, slider and clutch and calibrated the unit. Retested in diagnostics and unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for a washer that just stops at the end of the wash cycle and it will not advance. The customer stated they had it in the normal cycle when this happens. I ran diagnostics and there were no stored error codes. The unit completed the service diagnostics cycle and worked as designed. I ran the normal cycle and it stopped after spinning in wash and would not advance. The machine is doing exactly what is stated in Technical Service Pointer #: W11624962. I switched the controls out and the new control errored with an F2E3 ACU/UI mismatch. I cleared the code and ran the service diagnostics cycle. It completed the cycle and worked as designed but when I ran a regular cycle only the sensing light would blink and the unit would never lock the door and start. I put the old control back in and it works in the quick wash cycle. I explained to the customer that I was coming back with all the controls and the service tool to correct the issue. Ran a normal cycle and found the compressor kicks on when the start device attempts to start it, but doesn't stay running when the start shuts off. Compressor sounds healthy, but won't stay on. Issue is likely a bad start device. Ordering a start relay and control to repair. Arrived on site for a wall oven that wont reach past 280?. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does heat but it will not allow the unit to go above 280?. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored air codes. Checked both Bacon Boyle elements and found them both working. Went through the customers preferences and found that the unit had been set up on Celsius not Fahrenheit Creating the issue. I change the unit back over to Fahrenheit and found the unit working in operating as designed. The customer also complained that the unit alerts and timer do not work and will not sound off when the timer is done. Check the customers unit and did confirm the customers complaint. Found that the touchpad would not make any sound or sound off when the kitchen timer had run out. Attempted to adjust settings on the user interface and found that the sound box on the UI was bad. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that has a burning smell and will not start this new cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he was running a load of laundry and the unit kept spinning and spinning and spinning and would not stop. He manually shut it off and advised that he could smell a burning smell. He advised that since that cycle, the unit buzzes but will not start a cycle. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F7 E1 (basket speed fault) error code. Tested the unit on a normal wash cycle and found the unit buzzing but not spinning. Checked the resistance on the motor and found it within range. Check the wiring and did not find any evidence of any kind of burning within the washer. I called Whirlpool Safety team and spoke to Kelly SR# 7735876825. She advised to go ahead and proceed under warranty for the capacitor. Arrived onsite for a microwave that will not start after the time has been selected. After talking with the customer I found out that they never see a door message across the screen but they are not positive if the start selection beeps when touched. I tested the microwave and found it with good wattage output from the mag. I stopped and started the unit multiple times and never was able to get the unit to fail. I requested that the customer video what is happening if it happens again and gave him the service email to send the video in.

Arrived onsite for a range with the upper oven not heating in the bake cycle. I found the ignitor open. I replace the ignitor and tested the oven. All is working as designed. There were no gas leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with the icemaker making a loud clicking noise. I found the icemaker not seeing when it was at full twist and it would keep trying to twist causing the noise from the tray popping back. I replaced the icemaker. Arrived on site to repair sealed system failure. Found compressor pulling .7amps but absolutely no frost pattern developing. Tapped into access port on low side of compressor and found no refrigerant in system. Charged with nitrogen to 60psi and found leak from suction tube/cap tube entering cabinet from evap. Unable to verify which tube or where exactly its leaking but was able to recorded bubble solution bubbling when shoved into cabinet. Submitted video to Techline and was advised unit would be submitted for review.

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not spitting out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she has had a couple loads that have not fully spun out but there has not been any stored error codes on the machine when this is happened. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. Just did the singular valves and found both valves allowing water through. Did find multiple coins stuck between the agitator in the basket and remove them by hand. Advise the customer of the unit is working as designed and went over some features on the machine to help her with her wash cycles Call complete.

"WTW5000DW0 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found debris within the drain pump and after getting it unstuck and able to drain, removed the pump for inspection and found the impeller and housing scored. I removed and replaced the drain pump and tested. The inlet was badly restricted on the hot side, but screen removal, screen cleaning and hot supply flushing corrected the issue and the valve was not needed.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=4 degrees and RC=36 degrees. Customer advised that they noticed the lights failed to come on when they opened the RC doors and they cycled power to reset the controls. I turned the ice maker on and placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes to the ice maker and in test 56 it showed E0-no errors. I tested the ice maker in test 57 and it harvested as designed. Tested the fill tube in test 45 and it filled the tray as designed. I advised the customer that there could be issues beginning with the controls and provided a disclaimer from management regarding issues weve been seeing with this particular model. With the unit operating as designed, at this time, I recommended no repairs/parts being replaced. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. I advised the customer what to look for when the unit begins to fail."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, the shelf parts ordered were to be replaced to correct the drawers sagging. However, when I arrived, I found the unit rocking back and forth and the chassis badly twisted and not square. Previous tech attempted to correct this issue and was unable to. I advised the customer that they needed to contact customer service and they advised they were told by the vendor not to. I contacted techline and spoke to Steve and advised of my findings and he advised that the previous notes state the issues are cosmetic and the customer would need to contact customer service. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the burner box had dropped down and separated from the glass cooktop and they had some boards supporting the burner box from underneath (photos). I attempted to raise the unit and place my support boards underneath it to inspect, but I could not get the burner box to raise up. I found where the countertop was not cut correctly and was wedged into the opening in the countertop and looks to be glued into place with tile grout (photos). I advised the customer that there is not anything that I can do at this point due to it being an installation issue and the unit is out of its 30 installation warranty period. I recommended they not use it due to potential electric shock if the burner box falls again while theyre using it. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for burner not working. On inspection found 3 of the 4 were working and 1 would not lite. On further inspection found that the burner cap was was on the wrong. The spark was going sideways , I adjusted the cap on the burner to re route the spark to the cap. The unit is operating as designed and gas leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that has caught on fire. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they were running some rags on a sanitation cycle and that the rags were singeing inside of the dryer and when they pulled them out and brought them outside, they caught fire. Tested the unit on a normal high heat cycle. The unit heated and operate it as designed with a burning smell. I disassembled the unit and verified no wiring or any parts within the dryer fire. I did notice a lot of lint buildup inside of the dryer including on top of the element housing. I also found burnt land inside of the top of the element housing entering into the drum. Removed all the burnt lint out of the dryer and tested the unit. The unit began to eat and operate as designed. I did advise the customer that the lint buildup inside of the dryer is most likely due to an airflow issue. I did instruct them to run a normal timed dry cycle on their clothes for an hour and if they had to run another cycle to fully dry the clothes, to have their vents cleaned to prevent this issue again. I called Whirlpool Safety Team and spoke to Bianca SR# 7735912731. She advised to make no further repairs to the unit. Call complete."

"Arrived on site and found dryer isnt heating, found airflow is showing restricted. Dryer is stacked but venting is not designed for this. Customer has used three different vent hose attachments to get dryer to connect with original vent location. Discussed limitations of this set up. Arrived on site to test unit for intermittently not producing ice and powering down. Found drain hose was pinched preventing pump from draining properly. Fixed drain hose and unit is currently working as designed. No leaks detected. Job complete.

"WFE320M0JS3 Arrived to inspect no heat on both left side burners. I found the left rear was not spot welded at the thermal device point and removed and replaced. The left fronts infinite switch showed an arc flash and subsequent spalling on the connector, which was not damaged. I removed and replaced the switch and tested the unit. All functions returned and all burners and oven heated and cycled. Electrical connection at block checked and verified."

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. On inspection found that the back right burner would spark continuously when the right back burner was ignited. Replaced the spark module and both igniter. The unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected.

Arrived onsite for burner not igniting. On inspection found front left burner not igniting. Switch the burner with and burner and the issue followed the burner. I adjusted the top from the bottom plate. I got the burner to ignite but it might have issues down the road. It takes several clicks before it ignites. The other burner take 2 to 3 clicks to ignite.

Ice in icemaker no ice in bin,ran diagnostics optics passed,ice box fan passed no errors on icemaker,removed icemaker dumped out ice,ran harvest test passed ran fill test passed. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Found the icemaker was switched off. I asked the customer about the icemaker and she did not know that it had been in an off position. She was unaware of how to turn off and on the icemaker. Turn the unit on and found the icemaker immediately start harvesting ice and filling as designed. Did advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and a call back if any other issues persist but assume the issue was with the icemaker havent been turned off. Call complete.

"WFE320M0JS3 Arrived to inspect no power on control. I verified incoming voltages correct and inspected the control and wiring. The was a burnt trace in the control board and I removed and replaced. Testing after control replacement revealed the unit operating as designed. Upon arrival, the unit was sitting in the middle of the living area and had to be moved to access power. The home is nearly complete and I did not know if there was some additional flooring work or otherwise within the kitchen area and I moved the unit back to where it was originally sitting upon my arrival."

"KFGC558JSS01 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found several of the dual burners had incorrect orifices for LPG and I removed and replaced. I verified the oven orifices were correct. The regulator required setting to LPG and I also adjusted the low flame height setting, correcting all four single orifice low flame heights. The unit performed as designed after the adjustments. No gas leaks detected during service."
