"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making a rubbing sound during agitation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit only makes the sound during agitation and does not happen during spin cycles. The customer also did not have a video or audio of the sound. Ran unit through diagnostics and could not replicate the sound. Ran the unit through both Phil tests until the washer got up to halfway up the basket and attempted to agitate on heavy agitation. Still could not replicate the sound. The customer advised that the sound typically occurs as the unit is being used more and more. Found an F0 E3 (overload) and F0 E5 (off balance load) error codes. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7735989207. He advised that based on the current information and the fact the customer runs four or more loads a day, the issue would most likely be with the slider, heating up and sticking occasionally when the customer is repeatedly using the product. He advised that there is nothing that can be done on the machine side to prevent that issue because its most likely an issue with overuse with the unit or overloading. He advised to make no repairs and to advise the customer against overloading it. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to test unit for not igniting properly and flame issues. Found burner caps not seated into burner heads properly. Also found left side offices were on right side burners. Swapped orifices to proper locations and adjusted flames. Unit working as designed. No leaks detected. Job complete.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing water properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that their water has not been flowing properly through the dispenser and has been slowing down over the last few weeks and is now at a trickle. I asked the customer if they had an extra filter to test the filter. The customer did not. the customer did not want a filter at the time. I tested the unit without the filter and found proper water flow coming through the unit. Went ahead and replaced the filter housing just to be sure. I tested the unit and still have the same result with the filters. The customer had. The customer explain that they had an in-line filtration system before the refrigerator and still use the filter on the refrigerator. I advised the customer that since the valve was OK and the housing had been replaced. The only thing that would be left would be the filter. Replaced the filter and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

When I went to remove the bulb, it broke away from the base and the element inside was burnt. I removed the base and installed a new bulb and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

Upon further inspection, I tested the ice maker and it started to harvest but struggled to complete and it failed to dispense water into the tray. Oven was originally sitting on top a 1 inch piece of trim that does not provide a full support along the bottom required by installation instructions. Took a picture and sent to KB/service management. Either a full panel could be added underneath Oven to lift it or a 1 inch piece of trim to be installed above control panel to hide gap, job complete

Arrived onsite for light burn out in refrigerator. On inspection the lights in the rc were out and the one in the freezer was out. Pulled the freeze light down and the connector was foamed in. Tried to get it unstuck with no luck. On further inspection the red wire on the LED light was cut about 1/2 inch from the LED light. Had to cut in splice the wires on to the new LED light. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected.

I found residual detergent build up causing suds and the pump to cavitate. I explained that cavitation will keep the water from spraying good and the arms will not move correctly. "Arrived on site to inspect range burners not igniting. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the cooktop burners are working fine, but the oven wont turn on and they can smell gas. I disassembled the oven and tested the bake and it operated as designed. I tested the broil burner and it ignited but had a small flame at the back of the burner. I found the air shutter wide open and closed it approximately 1/4 way and retested. Broil burner is operating as designed. I inspected the warming drawer and found several cookie sheets inside and were possibly making contact with the bake ignitor. I recommended reducing the amount of items placed in the drawer as they will make contact with the ignitor and cause it to ground out and not operate properly. I found a small mark on the ignitor connector that could possibly be from being grounded out. I retested the unit again and it continues to operate as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for dishwasher leaking on the left side. Customer showed me where the water was coming out at. Looks like it was coming out of the steam vent. Ran the unit in diagnostic mode and it did not leak. Ran the unit in quick wash in still did not leak.Customer showed a vide and pics of the water on the floor in front of the steam tube. I replaced the vent and told the customer to wash some dishes to see if it leaks again. No leaks were detected during inspection.

Arrived onsite for oven bottom popped up. On inspection found that the burner was lifted up causing the bottom to lift the back left corner. Adjusted the burner and reinstalled the cover. It fits fine now and the unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service.

Since we were out 2 months ago I checked the strainers on the inlet valve and found it to be partially clogged. I cleaned them up in tested the water pressure. Found capacitor was not tight on the bottom and had pinholes in it, causing a leak. Replaced capacitor and tested unit. Verified all working as designed. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling on both sides. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is cooling partially in the freezer section, but is not cooling at all in the refrigerator section. Open the freezer door and found evidence of a defrost issue inside of the freezer section. Disassembled the freezer section and gained access to the evaporator. Found one of the connectors on the heater had backed out of the heater connector. Reattached the wire to the connector and added electrical tape to the backside of it to prevent that from happening again. Checked resistance through the harness and found proper resistance for the heater. Manually defrosted the unit and I advised the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont drain. Inspected unit and work area. Were on the unit through diagnostics and found an F9 E1 (long drain) error code. Checked underneath the washer and found the drain pump within range. Checked the wiring and found that one of the wires have been pinched at the drain pump clip causing a drop in voltage to the drain pump. Removed the wiring from the clip and tested the unit again. The unit began to work and operate as designed. ran the unit to an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Added some electrical tape to the wiring to ensure this doesnt happen again. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that has tangling clothes and is spinning too hard. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that her thin shirts, seemingly get wrinkled inside of the washer, and that she wanted to know if there was a way to reduce the spin speed on certain cycles. I did explain to the customer that the spin speed on this particular model is pre-programmed, depending on the load setting that she has selected for the washer. Did explained that the wrinkling off her clothes can be due to wrapping clothes around the agitator and explained how the washer works. Went over the user care guide and round the unit three diagnostics. Found an F0 E2 (oversuds) error code. Ran into a diagnostic test and the unit ran as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for poor dryer performance and having to run multiple cycles. Steam forming in the room. Determined the duct was detached from unit. Reattached duct and determined resumed normal operating. Advised customer on interior wall long duct maintenance requirements and advised on all findings. All checks good.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not dispensing water. Upon further inspection, the customer provided their POP paperwork to show the unit is in warranty. They advised the unit wont dispense water and is not making ice. I removed the RC drawers and the evap cover to find the reservoir frozen. I found the evaporator cover and insulation was gapped at the top where their reservoir is located and the gap,is causing cold freezing air from the evaporator to leak out onto the reservoir and freeze it. Using some permagum sealer, I sealed off the gap and once I was done, the RC evap,fan came on and i couldnt feel any air escaping. I advised my customer of the repair and tested the water dispenser and water dispensed as designed. I increased the temp to 39 and recommended the customer change the temp back to 37 after approximately 24 hours to allow the reservoir to thaw out completely. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
