"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice and not cooling correctly in either compartment. I found no air movement but the evaporator fan was running. I found the FC evaporator cover with frost build up on it. I found the icemaker mold full of cold water but not frozen because of the temp. I explained to the customer that this was why there was no ice. I tested the thermistors and found them good. I ran a forced defrost and found it working as designed. The top shelf in the freezer was packed with frozen product in bags and they fell off the shelf and wedged against the vents. I removed the frost from the cover, removed the cover, and found the evaporator packed in frost and some ice. I found the evaporator thermistor not mounted properly and loose. I suspect between this and the bags choking off the vents caused the defrost issue. I removed all the frost from the evaporator and tested the refrigerator. All is working as designed. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has doors that wont seal. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they just got this unit and that it has been frosting up in the freezer and they have had icicles hanging from the top of the freezer. I did confirm the customer complaint and found the upper left him. Part of the gasket on the freezer door, not ceiling. I opened up the freezer and found a huge gap up at the upper left-hand corner, causing the door not to seal due to uneven surfaces. I found that the cabinet was bowing, outward at the edge, causing the gasket not to be able to fully seal. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7738825354. He had me send him several photos of the damage and advise that the gap was too wide to seal, and with the cabinet bowing, there would be no repair that could fix this issue. He advised that he would be sending this to review, and to inform the customer that Whirlpool would probably most likely be in contact with them within the next 3 to 5 business days. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit makes a screeching noise constantly throughout the cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. The unit operated as designed. I tilted the unit back and removed the pulley shield and found the belt has been slipping based off the rubber markings on the pulley (photo). I removed the belt and pulley and found gearcase oil on the underside of the pulley and on the splutch assembly (photo). I provided photos to the customer and advised of my findings. I attempted to remove and replace the gearcase, splutch and belt; however, when I went to remove the washplate, I found that it is seized to the gearcase spindle. I advised the customer of the situation and that I would have to order another washplate as this one might break if I force it off. I am ordering the washplate and washplate removing tool and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and scheduled return service for 04/11/24. Upon entry, I found a sheet of ice that was made over the evaporator plate, and when it went to harvest and turned on the gas valve, I found the ice was not sliding down the evaporator plate. I spoke to CS and G C, and found the evaporator plate had ridges on the Top of the evaporator plate where the welds of the plate were welded. I was advised that we would need to use fine grade sandpaper to sand those welds down to make a smooth surface for the sheet of ice to drop. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is taking several times to start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit three diagnostics and found an F5 E4 (lid not opened between cycles) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I Estes the unit trying to start multiple cycles and found the unit starting and operating as designed. I had the customer try and start it for me and I found the customer was having a hard time starting it due to not pressing the start button directly in the middle of the start button square. I did explain to the customer that they will need to press directly in the center because even though that there is a square looking button, there is a little micro switch behind the control panel that is needed to be pressed for the unit to work. I did explain to the customer that this is how they seen it was designed and had the customer try to start it several times using the method that I showed her. The unit started working an operating as designed with the customer. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7738737551. He advised to make note for the repairs at this time and that the unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for washer with clothes stuck in agitator. On inspection found pair of pants leg stuck under the agitator. Went take the agitator off and found the bolt lose that holds the agitator down. Removed the pants and made sure the tub nut was tightened, it was good. Reinstalled the agitator and tightened the bolt up. I hammered the bolt tight, the unit is operating as designed and no water leaks were detected. This job covered under Appliance Express warranty. Spoke with customer in regards to repair. Gave estimate for new panel as per previous ticket notes. Customer did not want to proceed with a repair and will just replace the unit. No services rendered.

Arrived on site to test unit for slamming doors. Unit is leveled properly. Will need to order parts pertaining to the hinges and cam. Door may not have been installed properly. Office to order parts and reschedule. ; O-emld tckt

"Arrived onsite for dryer not drying. On inspection the heating element is working, the temperature in the unit was 135?. There was very little air flow. Pulled the vent hose found it full lent and water. The temperature with the hose off was 212?, informed the customer that the vent hose needs to be cleaned. The unit is operating as designed."

On arrival verified complaint of motor not working. Ran diag and sump not activating but has power. Replaced sump assy and unit now works in diag mode. No leaks found. Job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher not cleaning dishes. Tested unit and found dead wash motor. Replaced sump and motor assembly and tested unit. Verified all working as designed with no leaks found. CAll completed.

"Arrived on site for broken rc door switch. Upon arrival, found door switch has failed. Need to replace switch. During disassembly found switch is foamed in. Was able to remove. Replaced door switch. Added silicone. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete"

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed dsi board. Replaced part and tested. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher throwing F8E4 code and beeping. On arrival found water in the float tray. When I cleared out the water I found that the lower spray arm was not connected to the sump, and laying in the back. I also found the unit is basically wedged between cabinets and the wall, and is not square. Based on the color of the water in the float tray it's entirely possible that too much soap was being used and oversudsing into the tray. I contacted the landlord and advised him of my findings and strongly recommended that they adjust the cabinets / install of the unit so it can be properly leveled and square, or leaks will likely continue to happen. After I attached the spray arm and ran the unit I could not spot a leak. Unit working as designed once I finished running tests, but must have its install adjusted. CAll complete."

Arrived onsite for a range tripping the breaker. Found moisture In bake element causing issues. I ran a broil cycle up to 450 degrees and dried out the element. Then ran the bake element up to 500 degrees to continue to get rid of the moisture. Unit is now functioning properly. Job completed.

Arrived on site to test unit for condensation built up around dispenser area. Found condensation built up on and behind dispenser compartment. Found damper opening and closing properly. Recommend FC door replacement. Office to reschedule. ; ordrng 1 W11551458 (FC door)

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not going past the wash portion of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they were getting a buzzing noise and the units stopped washing and started to drain. They have tried to wash several other loads since and have had issues with the unit filling of water. Around the unit through diagnostics and confirmed an F8 E1 (no/low water detected during the fill) error code. I tested both valves and diagnostics and found the hot water valve, not drying any water in. Eject water pressure in van adequate water pressure coming from the wall. I replaced the inlet valve and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is freezing items in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not over freeze in the refrigerator section, but that it is not cooling in the refrigerator section. I gained access to the refrigerator and found the air return hose had been iced over, causing an airflow issue within the unit. I went ahead and attempted to steam out the air return holes and found the left hand. Return hole had insulation that had broken through the air channel and was causing no airflow on the left-hand side. I gained access to the freezer and Fran frost buildup everywhere within the freezer, indicating an air leak. I checked the door gaskets and found the door gaskets for sealing properly. I checked the liner and found two spots where the liner was pulled away from the cabinet, causing an airflow issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7738813151. He had me send him several photos of the gaps in the liner and advise that the holes were too wide to silicone. He advised that he would send this to review, and that whirlpool would be in contact with myself or the customer depending on the next steps. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose vent hood that is not running the fan. I tested the unit and found blower does not come on under any settings. Found power going to blower, but blower does not turn on. Replaced blower and tested. Confirmed proper function. Unit working as designed. Repair completed."

On arrival verified complaint of unit not running cycle. Customer states it is now working. Ran diag and found no error codes. Ran components and they all activate. Ran quick cycle and unit runs normally. Job complete. No leaks detected during service.
