"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps in the freezer section. Upon further inspection l the customer advised that the fresh foods section is working fine, but the freezer is not cooling properly. I tested temps in the FC=32 degrees. I disassembled the freezer (FC) section and found the evaporator completely engulfed in ice and I could not remove the evap cover. I advised the customer that I would have to reschedule to allow them to defrost the unit due to the amount of ice on the evaporator. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the element and found it would not come on which is a good indication that the element is bad and possibly the defrost bimetal is bad as well. I am ordering the defrost element and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and office to schedule return service. "Arrived on site to inspect beverage cooler temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps and found the unit showing 60-62 degrees on a setting of 45. I gained access to the evaporator and found it engulfed in ice. Pulled the unit out onto my floor protector and tested the defrost timer and found it operating as designed. I verified the defrost by the element and its getting hot and the ice is melting. Tested the defrost bimetal and found it out of range. I am ordering the bimetal and scheduled return. I will return with all prescreened parts. Unit left unplugged for safety."

Arrived onsite for a dryer that will not power on. I found 240VAC at the wall and 123VAC from L1 to G and N. I also had 120VAC from L2 to G and N. At the terminal block I had 0VAC from L1 to N and G indicating the customer has a bad cord. I let the customer see my meter reading when testing voltage.

"WRS970CIDM00 Arrived to inspect no ice. After verifying the lower hinge wiring was intact, I checked the ice maker assembly. I found several large masses of ice within the ice maker and its housing. Some of the ice was cube-mass shaped, while others were individual cubes and all was coated with heavy frost. The ice maker mold had sustained damage from the ice chunks and require replacement. Further inspection revealed the top of the door gasket was severely angled up in the middle, compared to both sides, allowing the gasket to rise above the metal border and fail to prevent air movement into the FC. I was able to correct the door seal issue and installed and tested the ice maker. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site to follow up on range that was not powering on and heating. Continued diagnosis and voltage testing. Checked for voltage with unit plugged in and found 0 voltage from L1. Previous tech noted he had issues when unit was moved. Checked socket and found loose connection in the socket causing bad voltage to unit / weak connection. Advised to contact builder. Call complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was leaking when in use. Tested unit and found a large leak when filling. Looked under unit and found the drain elbow disconnected from the pump. I resecured the elbow and used a worm clamp to hold it on. Tested and verified unit is no longer leaking. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for a washer with the gearcase making a loud noise when in spin. I inspected the gearcase and found no oil and signs of the belt breaking down and slipping. I ran a fast spin cycle and confirmed the noise with the customer which was the belt slipping. I replaced the belt and ran the fast spin cycle again and the unit is working as designed. I did find a stored F5E0 error code and advised the customer on loading. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and found the element not coming on. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit and found it failed two out of three tests with the lone passing test being without the vent tube connected at the back of the unit and the exhaust pipe being cleaned of lint (photo). I disassembled the unit and tested the element and found it bad. I removed the element and found one of the coils was broken. Also found a large amount of lint inside the unit (before photo). Customer advised that the vents have been cleaned but not recently. I showed the customer the lint pulled from the exhaust pipe and advised that they should have the vents professionally cleaned. The element is covered under the AEX 1yr warranty. I cleaned the unit (after photo) and removed and replaced the element and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed and heating properly. I recommended the customer not use the unit until the vents have been cleaned due to potential damage to other parts of the unit, including the element. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised unit is making a loud screeching noise. I disassembled the unit and found the tension pulley roller almost seized to the axle. Also found the belt frayed and all four rollers needing to be replaced. I removed and replaced the four rollers, tension roller, and belt and cleaned the unit (before/after photos). Reassembled the unit and tested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not dispensing ice. I found the ice bucket full. I found the auger motor working but not turning the auger in the ice bucket because the lower couplers cog teeth had been sheared off and the ice chute coupler guards plastic retainer had been broken. "Arrived onsite for range tripping breaker. Upon arrival inspected unit. Ran diagnostics and isolated bake and broil elements. Each energized without error. Allowed internal temperature to reach close to target temperature then ran normal bake cycle at 375 degrees. Unit is cycling to maintain target temperature. Took pics of all cycles. All components are functioning. The issue is only on preheat when both elements are running at the same time, the breaker cannot handle the load. Unit is on GFCI 240 v."

"KRSF705HPS04 Arrived to inspect no water delivery. FC was -7?F and RC was 33?. The unit was set to 0? and 35? and I set the RC to the recommended 37. I found the chiller frozen and thawed it. Inspection of the unit revealed the FC door gasket was severely folded on the hinge side, lower corner. I attempted to apply heat and found the gasket too deformed to correct and the internal magnet material was too short to extend to the corner. I also found the magnet was broken at approximately two inches from the corner as well. During chiller thawing, I found the inlet chase for the tubing with large droplets and significant signs of condensation, a definite source of air leaking into the unit and compounding sealing issues. "Arrived onsite for dryer not working. On inspection found that the drum light would turn on when door opened, nothings else worked. Tested voltage at terminal block and it was 247vac. Tested the timer and only had 124vac. Replaced the timer and turn the unit on and it was spinning. It ran for 5 minutes before it just turn off. I retested the timer again and was only gettin the 124vac again something knocks the new timer out. Called WP tech line and talked with Jonathan. We isolate the issues to the motor. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner issues. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the center burner shuts off when going from simmer to medium flame. I tested all burners and all but the center burner are operating as designed. I found, with the center burner, that going from high flame to medium, the flame is very large and when going from medium to simmer it operates correctly. But when going from simmer to medium, the burner shuts off and wont re-ignite and I had to turn the valve back to ignite/high to get it ignite again. I cleaned the orifices and most of the debris from under the burner head and retested and got the same results. All of the orifices are correct. I am ordering the center valve, center orifice holder, center burner head and cap assembly and scheduled return service. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling in either section. I found the unit cooling just a little. I found the frost pattern stopping about 18 inches along the evaporator from the capillary tube. I found the compressor running but the high side line was about the same temp as the suction line. The compressor is either not pumping, there is a restriction, or there is a leak in the system. Ordering sealed system components and the office will need to RS. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator RC not cooling. The customer said that a week ago the evap had a ice block and they defrosted it. Checked the fresh food drawer and the temp was 38?, checked the top shelf of the fridge and the temp was 48?. The RC thermistor was 44? the evap thermistor was 71?. I went in to service mode and forced the evap fan on. I put my thermostat probe into where the air blows out in the temperature was 36? while the fan was on. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit and tested and immediately it began to make a loud screeching noise. I removed the top panel and disassembled the unit and found the tension pulley almost seized to the axle; the four rollers were almost seized as well and the belt was beginning to fray.. I removed and replaced all four rollers, tension pulley and belt and cleaned the roller axles and cleaned the unit (before/after photos). Reassembled the unit and retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and found the wash motor will not actuate under load. Advised customer on findings. Ordering wash motor to repair. ; ordrng 1 W11025157 (Sump and motor)

"Arrived on site to inspect washer door issues. Upon further inspection, I found the door latch was broken and the door would not secure. Also found the outer door trim and inner trim at the hinge were broken. I attempted to remove the hinge screws and could not get one to break free. I found two out of the three tub baffles were damaged and also found a small hole in the bellow (photos).

Arrived on site to test unit for blower running all the time. Found error code of F3E1 open or shorted sensor. Ordering new sensor office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11598120 (Sensor)

Arrived on site to test unit for console not responding. Turned breaker off for 1 minute and turned it back on and unit working as designed

Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing ice. Upon arriving I was able to confirm complaint and found dispenser intermittently working. Found cause of failure was dispenser ice door not fully closing and allowing air leak ice cubes to catch in door and melt. Found cause of door failure was faulty door liner mount that held bridge arm between door chute motor and ice door separator. Informed customer of findings due to nature of damage(spoke with cs while on site). Informed customer to contact lg for further assistance. Call complete

"Arrived onsite for washer not draining and bad gear case. On inspection the unit had F9E1 error again. Tried to use service mode to drain the unit with no luck. I ohmed 5he pump from the harness and it was 100 ohms. It should be 19 ohms. The last visit it was open, I drain the tub and tested the pump at the pump, it was 19 ohms. Went back and tested the pump at the control board and it was 19 Ohms. I stared a quick wash and as the tub filled up the error F9E1 came back. Tested the pump at the control board again and it was 100 ohms. I pulled the clothes out and the pump ohmed out at 19 ohms. The wiring harness is bad, when there is weight in the unit it will not pump. Arrived on site for wall oven microwave combo reseting power intermittently. Upon arrival confirmed complaint. Upon further inspection I found generic outlet connection installed on power cord and plugged into an outlet behind oven. Found that outlet is positioned in such a way that it cant be lowered and the plug wont fully seat all the way in and wiggles freely out of the socket. Called techline and spoke with Andrew Sr#773627104. Was I struct3d to have customer to replace outlet with proper junction box per installation Manuel before continuing with any repairs. If issue is present after junction is installed then power cord and main control will be needed. Unit is working as designed. Call complete

"Arrived on site for dishwasher, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was dishwasher leaking. Found that the tabs that hold the heater in place where missing and allowed the heater to melt on too the tub. Will need to replace the sump and motor due to wear and possible leaks. Will need to replace also both dish racks and rollers. Im also ordering the spray arms if they are needed. Arrived on site. Found unit chirping and shutting itself on and off diagnosed a defective main control

Arrived on site and replaced previously diagnosed control. Got voltage for a couple seconds then nothing. Jumped door switch from black to blue and was able to get auger motor to activate. Reported findings with whirlpool and agreed faulty door switch is issue. Please inspect door switch and ensure it is FC 3-prong door switch not a 2-prong RC switch. Scheduled for 5/03. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I was to install a new microwave control and microwave light bulb. Before beginning, I read the previous techs notes regarding the open/close door error and issues with the control panel keys. I found service pointer #W11493384 regarding the open/close door error and found after following the tech sheet that the inner door panel needs to be replaced and possibly the hinges. I found the unit is connected to WiFi and customer advised that the microwave on key was failing until the power was cycled at the breaker. I advised the customer that the control panel will,need to,be replaced as well, along with the inner door panel, microwave control board and microwave light.

"Arrived on site for burners not operating correctly. Upon arrival, test unit and found issues with front center burner and right front burner. Right front burner intermittently does not spark. Also flame on front center burner is too large and too yellow. The orfice installed on front center burner is a 103 which is correct, but not operating correctly Going to try new orifice and order valve and orifice holder for middle front burner Incase there is a crack on holder. Need to order Ignitor and orifice holder for front right burner, Orifice kit, orifice holder, and valve for center front burner, switch harness, and spark module. Arrived on site for washer that making a noise. On inspection the washer has a hi pitch grinding noise in spin. Flipped the 7nit up in found oil all over the bottom of the unit. Customer is going to buy new. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and manually tested. I tested the agitate mode and the unit agitated one time then the entire unit shut down and the lid unlocked. I manually tested spin and the unit operated as designed. I tilted the unit back and inspected the actuator, motor, capacitor, harness and all looked good. I tested the harness and found it to have good continuity from the control to the actuator, motor and capacitor. Tested voltage at the wall and its getting 123V. I attempted to calibrate the unit and could hear the actuator (loud) and when the unit went to agitate, again it shut down. I removed and replaced the actuator and recalibrated and got the same results. I tested the control and found it not putting out voltage to the components. I removed and replaced the main control and calibrated and retested in diagnostics and the unit is operating as designed. I contacted techline and spoke to Austin and advised of the complaint, unit repair history, and my findings and repairs today. Austin provided SR#7736269805. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.; schdld next appmnt for 5/2 TUE !"

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was ice build up on the light housing and switch area. At arrival I only found some condensation drops that where frozen. I tested the heater for the defrost and was opening as designed. I leveled the unit and inspected the freezer door gasket to make sure it was good. Unit is operating as designed. No leaks where present at the time of service. Job completed

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is making weird sounds off of the back of the unit. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit stopped making the noise, but wanted to make sure there wasnt an issue with the unit. Checked behind the unit and found that the condenser fan blade had fallen off the shaft. Attempted to fit the fan blade back on the shaft and found it loose. Plugged the unit in and found the fan blade immediately start making noise and fall off the condenser motor shaft. Found no abnormalities to the condenser fan motor. Ordering the fan blade and will return with the condenser motor. Reschedule the customer to 5/2. ; ordrng 1 W11458267 (Condenser fan blade)"

Arrived on site to test unit for not completing wash cycles. Found errors f8e1(no/long fill) and f5e2(lid lock fault). Verified water is filling properly and water lines are correct. Found no obstructions or issue with latch engaging/disengaging. Advised customer control would need to be replaced.

"Arrived onsite for a washer that stopped mid cycle and will not power on. Upon inspection of the unit I found the the drain pump should open when tested through the harness I tested power to the control and found 120vac but there was no response when using the ui I also found gears oil at the bottom of the unit, I tested the drain pump directly and found that it was showing 19ohms, I am ordering the gearcase, pump,harness slider and returning with parts previously sent. "Arrived on site and found bearing noise when spinning, attempted to remove washplate and it is seized. After breaking off washplate found spanner nut is deteriorated and attempting to remove it just broke it further. Took pictures. Agitator, spanner nut, basket, tub, gear case, motor, belt, cam kit, actuator, and capacitor would all need to be replaced to correct issue. Arrived on site to test replace blower. Took unit out and found noise gasket stuck in blower. Removed gasket test unit and unit test good.

"Arrived on site to install new double valve to resolve no simmer function on center burner. On arrival i found no adjustment had been made to the existing valve, and this should resolve the issue. I adjusted the dual valve and was able to get the simmer function to work properly. If the valve is turned too slow / too often it has a small chance of sputtering out when transitioning. I advised customer there were no further improvements i could make. I called and reported to tech line, SR7736266259. Tech line advised they have a recent engineering note that they have revised and released an updated dual valve and to replace that and retest. Set a return visit for 5/30 to install dual valve. ; schdld next appmnt for 5/30 TUE !"

"Arrived on-site for range not turning on. Upon arrival confirmed complaint and found breaker to range tripped(located outside, gfci/afci protected), restored power to unit and checked power from outlet. Found proper 240/polarity correct. Oven sensor was 1.08kohms at ACU connector as well as directly at sensor. Bake element was 22.7ohms, broil element was 16.4ohms. Found oven tripping after 1minute of preheating at 13.5amps. Found highest amp peak was 15 and lowest was 10.5. Reported findings to techline Chris sr#7736265720. Was instructed to verify outlet integrity before repairing oven but if issue returned techline recommended following steps from Sp: W11490386. Unit working as designed. Call complete"
