"JGS1450FS0 arrived on site to inspect a range with a F2E1 error code, heat coming from the right side, long cook times and a drawer off the railing. Upon arrival I found the right side drawer railing was not mounted to the chassis. Remounted the rail and now the drawer is seated properly. Inspected the door and found it slightly tilted out on the right side. Removed the door and inspected thoroughly but I was unable to find and bends or warping in the door or the cabinet. Checked for error codes and found the F2E1 code. Cleared the code for testing. I leveled the unit and turned on the oven to test the temp and felt the heat escaping from the right side of the door. Ordering the door liner to fix misaligned door. Tested the temperature of the oven and found it averaging well above 350. Checked the offset and found a 15 degree offset. I found the encoder on the UI not responding correctly but everything else on the UI was working. I found the door switch in the latch failing. I replaced the console and the latch. I tested the washer and found it hammering when agitating to the left. I inspected the lower unit and found oil all over the chassis and rotor. Arrived onsite for dishwasher with no water. On inspection I found the water turn off for the dishwasher. Turn the water back on and ran the unit in diagnostics mode. It completed the diagnostics cycle with no issues. Found that they turn the wrong knob off due to a leak in the faucet. No leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with burning odors. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they used the unit and at the end they could smell something burning. I inspected the heating element and found some debris on the element on the left side which appeared to be melted plastic. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. When the element came on, I tested amp draw and to 7-9 amps during wash and drying cycles. I wetted a cloth and attempted to remove the debris, but it would not come off. I removed and replaced the heating element and retested and unit is operating as designed. I contacted Whirlpool Safety Dept and spoke to Ken and advised of my findings and repairs. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance and is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Found the washer leaning towards the front with the tub leaning up against the front panel. Adjust the feet on the washer to level out the unit. The customer advised that the unit fixed itself and has been working for the past several washes. She advised that when she initially called in, she was washing a quilt that was consistently not finishing out the cycle. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E9 (off-balance pause) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran and operated as designed. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. I did advise the customer of the most likely issue with her load was the fact that heavy duty items such as quilts, rugs, and other bulky items like that can cause off-balance issues from time to time. Did advise the customer that the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a dryer that runs but doesnt heat. I found 2VAC between L1 & L2 at the outlet. I showed this to the customer. The breaker is a standard breaker and didnt appear to be tripped. I flipped it off and back on and had 241VAC to the dryer. I tested the dryer and found it working as designed. I explained to the customer that if the breaker continues to trip during use then the breaker probably needs to be changed. The panel is on the southwest corner of the house and gets a lot of sun. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit on air dry only and using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit. 1st and 2nd vent tests failed (photo). I removed the vent tube at the back of the unit, which was not properly installed, and retested. 3rd vent test without vent tube passed (photo). I tested the components at the back of the unit and found the fuse, cutoffs and thermostat good. I inspected the element and found the middle plate warped and blackened. "I have done site for a dryer that is making a knocking sound during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit has been making this knocking or something sound for a while and that they have had three other companies come out to try to service this. They advise that the previous companies have replaced the rollers, the blower wheel, and the basket. Did confirm the customers complaint during operation and removed the basket and front panel. Found all rollers, belt, and motor all working and operating as designed. Did not find any abnormality around the drum or the bulkheads. Cant access to the back and check the blower wheel. Found the blower wheel was situated properly, and I could not replicate the sound by spending the basket by hand. Checked the basket for any abnormality, and could not find any issues with the basket. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Kurt SR# 7737729352. He had me run through a couple of checks and hat may send him a video. revise that he could not hear the knocking sound that was heard on the video. I was advised him that the sound is very faint. He advised that because we were unable to find any abnormalities or problems with any of the moving parts on this unit that there was no parts he could recommend to replace that would fix this issue. He advised to make no repairs at this time and advise the customer to continue using this product and that the unit was working and operating as designed. Call complete."

UXT5236BDS0 arrived on site to inspect a vent hood light not working. Removed the light and found that one of the connectors on the harness side became disconnected from the molex. I reseated the connector and verified operation on the light. Reassembled the unit and tested the light several more times to verify that it is working.

I found the door switch starting to fail. The door latch will need to be replaced. I ran a quick wash with towels to see if the shaking and moving has stopped. Arrived on site to diagnose ice machine not producing ice. Examined unit and found small cubes being made and melting fairly soon. Examined unit producing a slab and attempt to drop it. Found slab was both forming unevenly and getting stuck on the evap. Examined evap and found the weld seams on the evap were very rigid and needed to be sanded down. Wet sanded seams and verified that water flow was now even and slab should slide easy. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for a microwave with the hood lamp staying on all the time. The customer stated the bulb burned out and when he replaced the bulb it will not turn off now. The customer ordered OEM bulbs. I found the control bad and it will need to be replaced. Due to the sealed system leaking refrigerant, I disassembled the unit and removed and replaced the compressor, evaporator, access valve and non-UV drier and vacuumed the system. Pressures held good. I installed 5.75oz of R134a refrigerant and reassembled the unit and tested. Pressures were good at -4/115psi. Tested the unit in a normal cycle and it is operating as designed. I attempted to run the machine and found that it wouldnt, I ran it in diagnostic and found that the code showed for slow drain. I check the drain hose for any clogs and or improper inspection. And found that both where good. I checked the drain pumps itself and found that the harness was broken on the block/wight wire. I replaced it with my wiring kit and tested the unit in quick wash and found that the unit operated as designed the again in drain and spin and found that unit operating as designed no leaks"

Did confirm the customers complaint and found the tub ring damaged, and the suspension rod had dropped due to the bushing up at the top being broken. Did find that her basket had not had all the holes drilled properly through and checked her washer model through ServiceMatters. Found her unit fell within a service pointer regarding a basket replacement due to off-balance issues. Found that her model and serial numbers both matched the affected units within the service pointer. I am ordering the basket and will return with the tub ring and suspension. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the cabinet and installed new leveling feet. I reassembled and tested. The unit now operates as designed. No leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnose to park. Inspected unit and work area. Replace the waterline from the inlet valve to the filter. Head and tested unit. Unit began to work in operate as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is freezing items on all the shelves in the RC. I found the RC temp set at 33 degrees and the FC set at 4. I found the temp in the FC at 30 degrees. The thermistors passed testing at the UI but the RC thermistor is out of range. I found the dampener working as designed and not leaking air. Need to install thermistor kits in both sides and possibly the main control again. Ordering 2 thermistor kits and the main control. Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit tripping the breaker when the broil is being used. I pulled the unit out and placed it in diagnostics showing error code F6E4. I cycled power and removed and replaced the main control and tested. I removed the back panel and tested amp draw to the bake and broil elements and both were within range and well below the amperage of the breaker (40) which is a GFCI breaker. I tested the ohms readings to both element and both were within range and neither were grounded to the chassis. I assisted the customer is setting up the WiFi connection and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed.

Arrived onsite for a DW that is not washing the dishes. Upon arrival I read the the unit diag mode and found the the unit did not run the wash motor. I replaced the sump&motor and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed no leaks.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making a knocking sound during agitation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the previous repairs seem to work for a couple weeks before it went back out again and started making the sound. I did confirm the customers complaint during manual agitation. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7737725206. He advised that while they are aware of this complaint, the unit is working as designed and not to replace any parts on the machine. He advised that the customer may contact customer service if they wish to do so. Call complete."

Arrived on site to replace hinges. Relaxed left and right hinges test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site to replace faulty motor as instructed by Whirlpool tech line. Replaced motor and tested but had no success. Replaced capacitor and control and got intermittent function. Replaced wiring harness and that corrected The rest of the issue. Tested in auto mode and normal load and unit is functioning properly. Job completed

"WRT318FMDB09 Arrived to complete sealed system repair. I evacuated the system, noting a likely full charge and then removed and replaced the compressor, service port and dye drier. I vacuumed and then held for additional time. Seeing no loss of vacuum, I charged with the MFG prescribed refrigerant charge and tested. The unit resumed normal operations. No leaks observed during service."

KRMF706EBS01 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. The issue had cleared up prior to my arrival and I verified the prior repair had held. The issue was due to water flow interruption and I advised the customer. No leaks observed during service. Warranty applied.
