"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed the mullion for inspection and found one of the wires had been sheared off, likely during manufacturing. I installed the replacement. Verifying the inability of the UI to enter full test mode and only able to enter into the error mode, I removed and replaced. The new UI showed F3E8 within service test mode, when the new UI was installed. Attempts to get the unit into test mode still failed, even though it was able to be put into the first stage, error mode. I tested the harness from end-to-end and found very good continuity on all four wires. The 5VDC was present and I could read DCV on the other two connections as well, but the information for exacting expected readings was not published. I attempted main control replacement and there was no change. The RC door gaskets were mis-ordered and will require a return service. Office to order the H/T sensor, second door gasket and UI.Contacted MFG tech Rich. File# 7736494884. I was advised there is not a current work around for the service mode issue and it has been submitted to engineering for a direct response. The tech agreed with my summary and parts to be ordered. Arrived on site for washer still not starting cycles correctly. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue and called whirlpool commercial techline and spoke with Jordan 05/25/23 11:40am/ 12:40pm. After checking voltage reading with techline and running diagnostics resets we narrowed failure to ui control logic freezing and resetting cycle. Techline recommended replacing W11475812 ui control. Spoke with office and reschedule customer for 05/26/23 to complete repairs. ; ordrng 1 W11475812 (Ui control)

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling well in the RC. The customer stated now its not cooling well in either compartment. I found the evaporator packed in frost and not defrosting due to the bimetal separating and not closing properly. I removed the frost and replaced the bimetal thermostat. Arrived onsite and repaired unit with glitch symptom. Power cycled for 5 minutes which restored function to normal. All checks good

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested voltage at the outlet and got 245V. I tested the unit and found the element not coming on. I disassembled the unit and tested the element,cutoff, thermostat and fuse and found the element open. I removed the element to find the middle metal plate badly warped and cracked and the coils broken. I cleaned the lint from the unit (before/after photos) and installed a new element and reassembled the unit. Retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

"rE 06 02 20, 06 04 20, 06 00 20. Per the MFG service documentation, the codes listed were for the FF ice maker, with which, the unit is not equipped. I tested all available FZ ice maker tests and found no mechanical or electrical faults. The ice maker had cubes within it and they were ejected as well. The FZ ice maker full test, #100, revealed all functions were present, however, water did not enter the ice maker mold and the valve could be heard operating. I found the fill line was frozen and I tested continuity and voltage supply to the fill tube heater and found them correct and present. The factory applied heat tape was incorrectly applied in the area where the freezing occurred and I corrected and re-wrapped with foil tape, spreading the element wires to opposing sides of the tubing, as the rest of the tube, that was unaffected, was wrapped. I tested again and all functions returned. No leaks observed during service.

"WOS31ES0JS01 Arrived to inspect no power. I found the thermal fuse had failed and I removed and replaced. All functions resumed and the unit heated and cycled as designed.

"Arrived on site for range showing F6E1 in diagnostics. Upon arriving confirmed issue and found the following errors: F1e0, F6E1, F8E0. Found elements both in tact. Found oven sensor at 1.09k at room temp at reached around 1.67k after 45 minute 350 degree test. Couldnt replicate any of the error codes or find faults with ACU or cooling fan. Found unit could hold temps for 45 minutes wit,hour failure. Reset unit and instructed customer to use oven and see if issue reoccurs. Call complete"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that stopped cooling. I found the system almost out of refrigerant. I checked all the lower unit parts and found no signs of dye. I found no traces of dye in the condenser pan. I exposed the evaporator and found no signs of dye. I verified there was dye in the system at the drier access valve. I looked for signs around the FC door and rear chassis finding no dye. I removed the refrigerant and filled the system with nitrogen and verified there is a slow leak in the chassis. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not heating. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F10E1 & F7E1. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit filled with water and began the wash cycles and drained. I had my multimeter on the black wire at the junction box and when it came time for the element to come on, there was no amp draw reading. I removed the outer door panel and inspected the main control and found the harness molex connector at the control shorted and burnt. Unit left turned off at the main switch and no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for oven cycle on and off. On inspection pulled the unit and checked the power was getting 248vac. I then turn the unit on to preheat I used rapid. The unit got to 280? in stopped and rebooted . I called WP tech line they said that the UI need to be replaced and maybe the control board.

Arrived onsite for a dryer not working. I found the timer switch not closing between C/black wire and H/violet wire when the timer is turned on. I inspected the harness at the timer and found nothing wrong with it. I replaced the timer and tried to start the dryer but nothing happened. I tested L1 circuit to the motor and found 123VAC to the motor at all test points to ground. I tested voltage from T2 to H on the timer and had 13VAC. I traced the neutral circuit and found the connection between all the neutral wires in the control panel had come disconnected in the blue shrink wrap. I connected the harness and tested the dryer. The dryer is working as designed. I stopped and started it multiple times in front of the customer showing him it worked. I tested the amp draw at H on the timer where the timers have been failing and had .10 amps the entire time the dryer was running. This is not going to cause the switch points to fail in the timers. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for buttons getting stuck. Showed builder how to turn it on and off with out pushing the buttons to far back. Job complete and replaced control board.

Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was making noise / shaking. I attempted to remove the washplate but found it was completely stuck to the gearcase. Attempted to separate washplate and could not hammer it out. Advised customer I would need to cut the washplate out and replace it. Arrived on site to diagnose upright freezer that is not cooling. Examined unit and found the evaporator covered in frost / iced over causing airflow not to be able to move. Removed evap cover and found 2 wires on the defrost heater completely severed. I was able to depin the connector and repair the wiring with solder seals. Reconnected and verified continuity from the heater. Customer advised to defrost unit to remove ice build up. Repair completed.

"WDT730PAHZ0 Arrived to inspect drying issues. There were no stored error codes and I found the dispenser lid assembly would not operate as designed and I replaced the dispenser. Service test mode showed all functions present and the unit completed the cycle as designed. The customer pre-rinses well and was using pods. I advised against the use due to the excessive amount of detergent creating foam, which prevents the expected heat transfer and made a recommendation for detergent type and amount. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that has stopped making ice. Upon arrival the customer advised me that the unit began making ice again. I checked that the freezer evap was not ice over it had a good frost pattern on it and the evap fan was running. The was ice in the ice bin did however find that the doors were not sealing properly causing water air to get in. I adjusted the for and the chassis to insure a proper seal.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is frosting up in the freezer and leaking. Upon arrival I found that there was ice in the drain pan I removed the ice and also unclogged the drain tube and replace the control and thermistor unit is now operating as designed.

"KRMF706ESS01 Arrived to inspect no ice. I found the FC was 13? and the RC was 37. I found the FC evaporator cover had the appearance of a partially frost filled evaporator and inspected. The evaporator was full of frost and I removed and tested. I verified the defrost system was intact. The drain tube assembly was clear but gapped significantly and I corrected. The ice maker fascia to bin gasket was badly folded and I corrected. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Found the gasket, barely making it above the freezer liner on the non-hinge side. Attempted to adjust the upper hinge and was unsuccessful in amkino any changes to the door leveling. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7736427232. He had me send several photos of the hinge, door and gasket. He advised that based on the level of the lean of the door, no damage done to the hinges, and in ability to manipulate the upper door hinge, that the unit would be sent to review. We did find a bow on the cabinet in the upper corner where the gasket is not sealing. He advised for me to tell the customer that whirlpool would be back in touch with us or the customer themselves based on the next steps. Call complete."

"MVW4505MW0 Arrived to inspect non-completion and odor. I was not able to detect an odor from the unit and the issue may have been non-related to the machine. There were no stored error codes and I removed and replaced the control and mode shifter, after verifying all other functions were present and the basket assembly was centered within the chassis, to ensure the most current software and to eliminate possibilities. The unit was sitting with equal weight distribution on all four legs and the suspension had no signs of malfunction or mis-installation. The basket was solidly anchored to the gear case output shaft and I found no other signs of excessive mechanical movement. I could not each the MFG tech assist line from the residence and contacted after job completion. Representative Ed, file #7736493213 and all findings and repairs were notated. No further repairs required. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, I found the customer not using rinse aid. Placed the unit is diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and during this time, using my multimeter, I tested amp draw to each component. I found the unit within amp range on all components namely the element at 7-9amps (photos). I removed the outer door panel and tested the element at the control and found it to be getting 125V (photo) and 15ohms-within ohms range (photo). I made recommendations for use and care to my customer, as well as, rinse aid usage. Customer did not agree with recommendations comparing the unit to old units. I contacted techline and spoke to Rob and advised of the complaint and my findings. Rob advised the customer must use rinse aid and turn the hot water on at the sink to allow the hot water to fill in the tub and there are no parts to replace at this time as unit is operating as designed. Rob provided SR#7736495925. I advised my customer of the conversation with the manufacturer tech support and of the SR file number. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit will make a loud screeching metal on metal noise at the beginning of the spin cycle. Tilted the unit back and removed the cam pulley shield and found gearcase oil on the pulley and be.t shavings on the underside of the shield. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop middle burner flame going out when adjusting heights. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and found all operating as designed except the middle burner flame would go out when switching from low simmer to medium. I contacted techline and spoke to Chris and advised of the complaint and previous repairs recently made to this unit. Chris advised to replace the middle burner valve and provided SR#7736493885. I removed and replaced the center valve and checked the gas line connections with my liquid gas leak detector and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not level and doors swinging open. Upon further inspection, I found the right RC door sitting lower than the left FC door and the unit would rock back and forth. I removed the toeplate and leveled the unit and raised the right RC door to where it was level with the left FC door and tested door operations. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Upon arrival I installed the new valve and tested the unit and found the unit operating was designed. No leak at this time.
