Arrived onsite for cooktop burner not igniting. The back left burner takes serval seconds to ignite. The spark was sparking on the wrong side of the burner. I adjusted the burner to make the spark ignite on the right side of the burner. The unit is operating as designed now and no gas leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer clean vent light not turning off and vents are clean. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and it is operating as designed. The clean filter light did not come on. I inspected the vent at the back of the unit and found it crimped. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit and the first 2 tests failed (photos). I pulled the unit out from the wall and attempted to correct the vent tube and retested and it still failed. I pulled the u;it out further from the wall and straightened the tube and retested and it passed. When I pushed the unit back to the wall, I kept the vent tube straight and rounded and retested again and it passed the airflow test (photos). I advised the customer of my testings and findings and corrections. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that when they check their refrigerator temperature that it seem to be sitting at 40? and didnt know if that was considered normal. The temperature of the refrigerator and freezer and found the refrigerator sitting at 42?F in the freezer side sitting at 5?F. Found the unit had just kicked over and started to cool again. Did watch temperatures start to decrease again. I advise the customer that so long as the refrigerator side is between 35 and 42? consistently that the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

The customer advised that the washer does work and just finish out cycles but she does not feel like the unit filled with enough water to actually wash the clothes. She advised that she has had another company come out three times to replace the Control and Valve on this washer and has not seen any difference in her water level. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I did advise the customer that this washer is a low water washer and is pre-programmed based on your cycle selections and water settings. Do you have variances in water level, but that because of the water efficiency standards that are set by the government, the manufacturers hands are tied with how much water they can allow into the washer. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still flashing an F4 E1 (wash heater relay open or feedback error) error code. Gained access to the control and checked resistance through the heater and thermistor and found the heater at 20 ohms of resistance, and the thermistor at 20 k ohms of resistance showing both were within range. I checked Continuity through the wire, harness and resistance through the wire harness to those components, while trying to shake the wire harness. Could not find any fluctuations in resistance, or breaks in continuity. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7736981612. He advised based on my checks that the issue would be with the control since we were able to verify continuity and same resistance on the heater and wash thermistor. I had replaced the control again and tested the unit. Found the unit flash an F3 E2 (Wash NTC open or shorted) error code flash as it was pulling in cold water. I check resistance again from the main control to the Thermistor and heater and found proper resistance. Went ahead and replace the heater and tested the unit again. Still found the same error message popped back up. Went ahead and replaced the control back to the old control to see if I had the same issue. Found that the old control still made the same error message whenever Ive ran it through diagnostics. I called Whirlpool Techline again and spoke to Rob SR# 7736981612. He advised that the only other issue that could cause this is the wire harness, and since we have replaced both the heater with the wash, NTC, thermistor and control twice, that would be the only thing left that we can replace. Ordering the Harness in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability.; ordrng 1 W11316058 (Wash NTC harness)"

"Arrived on site for freezer, inspected unit and work area. I installed my gauges to the access valve and drier and I had pressures of 65psi on the low and 93psi on high side. Customer explained unit was not cooling well. I replaced the compressor as it sounded louder than normal and installed new drier. I vacuumed the system for 15 min and then slowed 15 min additional to monitor pressures. No leaks where present so I charged the compressor with 4.6 R134. I asked the customer to allow 32 hrs for unit to cool since its in a garage. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F8E4, F7E1, F9E2, FA (10) E2. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit failed to operate properly as the spray arms were not moving except the bottom and it was intermittent which could have possibly caused the unit to leak through the overflow ports into the drip pan bellow causing the F8E4 error. I found water in the drip pan, along with detergent in the water and it had gotten into the float and I could not get it all cleaned out. I removed the outer door panel and found the vent motor extremely hot (FAE2-F10E2). I removed and replaced the vent and retested and at the end of testing, the error code F7E1-sump/motor assembly failure appeared. I am ordering the sump/motor assembly and the float switch and scheduled return service for 08/07/23. No water leaks observed at the end of service. ; ordrng 1 W11416362 (Sump/motor assembly) and 1 W11545764 (Float switch)"

"KOCE500ESS20 GP arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon removal from the cabinet I found both sides and the back of the floor that supports the oven had fallen off causing the oven to have no support to hold it in place. Examination of the support boards and floor showed that the boards were tacked together with brads. Could not place unit back into cabinet. Oven was left on the floor. Advised the customer of my findings and they attempted to contact contractor to fix the situation. Once machine is reinstalled, if the problem persists, the customer will contact. Power left disconnected."

Arrived onsite and replaced the compressor due to prior part replacement being bad out of the box. Pulled vacuum and Charged with 4.5 oz of r134a Advised customer on repair. All checks good. Unit is now running properly.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher lights not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the start button light doesnt work and the left rack stop is missing. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit is operating as designed but the control start light does not illuminate. I found scratches on the top right side of the control panel (photo) from where a mo7 ting screw had been rubbing on the panel. I removed and replaced the main control and installed a rack stop on the left side from my van stock (WPW10082861) and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I tested the bake and could hear the relay on the control pop, but arc from the ignitor. I removed the bottom panel and the warming drawer and found the ignitor connected. I retested and again heard the control relay but not arc from the ignitor. I got the same results with the broil. I removed and replaced the spark module and retested and the unit is operating as designed. I tested the cooktop burners and all are operating properly. I made recommendations for use and care. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser dispensing slowly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that approximately three weeks after the previous repair, the water began to slowly dispense again. Customer advised that since they have a water filtration system in the home, they removed the filter and installed the bypass and its been working since. I recommended they leave the bypass in the place of the filter as long as they have the filtration system. Customer advised that the unit is cooling just fine and had no other concerns. No water leaks observed during service and no repairs needed at this time. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect venthood leaking grease. Upon further inspection, I found the filters with a large amount of grease trapped in them (photo). Removed the perimetric panel and found a large amount of cooking grease in and around the filter trims. I found no grease anywhere else on the unit. I found where grease had dropped down the backsplash behind the unit (photo). I contacted techline and spoke to Robert and advised of the complaint and my findings. Robert provided a text and I provided photos of the issue. I advised that the customer has only used the unit 3 times to cook bacon & eggs twice and cooked hamburgers. Robert researched the unit on his side and found no service bulletins regarding this issue. Robert recommended placing the unit on high speed while cooking with greasy foods and provided SR#7736977531. I advised my customer of my conversation with the manufacturer tech support and their recommendations. I cleaned the grease from the trims and made recommendations for use and care. Job completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that was not running or powering on. Tested unit and found no response at console. Checked incoming voltage and found 1.2v only at L1. Checked breaker and found breaker tripped. Reset breaker and ran a diagnostic cycle. Unit passed diagnostic cycle with no issues. No error codes present. Foind no water leaks either. Unit appears to be working as designed. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker with ice getting stuck. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the ice maker is making ice but cubes continue to get stuck just behind the motor housing. I inspected the ice maker and found the first time just behind the motor housing is mis-molded and sitting higher than the others causing ice cubes to get hung up on it and stuck in the tray. I removed and replaced the ice maker and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator that had lost cooling. Checked evaporator ans frost was building on it again. I put the unit in forced defrost and verified heater does come on. I replaced the control since thermistor has been done, and heater is working. I called tech line SR 7736983120. Discussed with tech line that the unit is on an extension cord plugged into the same outlet as the air conditioner, and this is very likely causing the issues with the unit. Found 116v at the plug. Advised customer that they need to install a dedicated outlet for the refrigerator, since sharing a circuit and outlet with the AC is going to cause interference. Tech line recommends unit being on a dedicated circuit before we try any other repairs. Repair completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose ice machine making loud grinding noise when running. Confirmed that the external drain pump was always running and screaming. Replaced external drain pump. Found new external drain pump is DOA and will not pump out water. Reordering external drain pump. Customer also ordering a new water supply line since existing one was dripping. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was not making ice. Customer advised me that the unit does make ice, just very slowly. I examined the icemaker and confirmed this is the slow producing twist tray type, that does have a long cycle and harvest time. Customer also had me check out the door and confirm if it was scratched or if that's the design. Based on the lighting you can see noticeable swirl patterns from the coating process, but not any damage. This is how the unit was made and not actually any damage, just how the light hits it. Unit working as designed. Repair completed."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is freezing up at the back of the crisper drawer. We have been to this unit for that same issue several times before. I contacted tech line and aviation them of the situation and was advised to perform Sp#W11092686. Order service kit W11457241 Evaporator Cover a. Tabsb. Screws c. Gasket I ordered the kit and will have the office reschedule Sr#7736985304. I am also ordering the left hand side slider for the crisper drawer as well; ordrng 1 W11233912 (SLIDE) and 1 W10562471 (PLATE-SLIDE,CENTER) and 1 W10562814 (FRONT-PLATE,CRISPER,KA)"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator still making noise. I found the condenser lines and cardboard protector buzzing causing the noise the customer was hearing. I added sound pads between the condenser and the bottom of the chassis. I taped the cardboard protector to the compressor pan. I adjusted the condenser lines. I tested the unit ramping the compressor and the noise was gone. I moved the unit back in place and leveled the machine then tested it again. I found the unit working as designed and it sounds normal. I found the toe kick not staying snapped on because it is warped in the center not allowing both outer clips to snap in place. Arrived onsite and found unit operating with ignition taking more time on the front left burner more than the others. Found burner head loose and should be replaced. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on draft effect on consistent ignition and not over gassing the ignitor.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is not spinning/ agitating. Upon inspection I found that the belt had falling off of the motor and cam. I put it back on ans tested the unit several times and found unit operating as designed.

Fixed the install issue that the unit was in there side ways. Had to fix the mounting brackets that the installer but in wrong. No water leaks detected during installation."

Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not making any ice. When icemaker is turned on it just clicks and does nothing. Removed cover and found broken wire on door harness going to icemaker. I was able to repair the harness and replaced the icemaker since it wax locked in a twist position for so long it would not straighten out. Unit now working as designed. Repair completed.

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher with no power. On inspection found that there was no power to the dishwasher. I plugged the unit into the garbage disposal outlet and the unit powered up. Ran it in diagnostics mode everything worked on the unit, went to the breaker box and the breaker was good. I reset the breaker and then to plugged the unit back into the dishwasher outlet and the unit came up, ran the unit In diagnostic mode and it had no issues. Not sure since the breaker was not tripping what was going on with the unit. Told customer to run the unit and to call us if there is another issue. I did inform the customer that dishwasher did not like being on a gfi circuit. No water leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezing up. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the back wall,of the freezer section had frost/ice on it and the fresh foods section wasnt cooling properly. I tested temps in the FC=6 degrees and RC 39 degrees on normal manufacturing settings. I found no frost on the FC evap cover and a good frost pattern on the coils. I found moisture built up on the inner liner/shelves of the FC door and bottom panel. I checked the FC door,gasket for gaps and once I placed my flashlight inside the FC section, I found gaps in the top right corner and bottom left corner of the center mullion (photos). I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit is operating as designed. I contacted techline and spoke to Chris and advised of the complaint and my findings. Chris sent me a text to my cell phone and I provided photos of my findings. Chris advised the file would be sent to engineering for review and provided SR#7736981889. I advised the customer that someone from the manufacturer would contact them within approximately 72 hours with a resolution. No repairs made at this time and no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced the door gasket and tested the unit. Could not find any signs of leaking during testing. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if any other issues persist. call complete.

Check the valve and found the valve getting voltage, but not allowing water to pass through. Replaced the inlet valve and tested the unit. The unit begin to work and operate as designed.
