"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven with no power. Upon further inspection, I found the unit display blank. Checked the breaker and found it wired to a GFCI breaker and labeled as the dryer and was tripped. I cycled the breaker on and it tripped again. I removed the control panel on the unit and found a loose molex connector on the panel. I plugged the connector in properly and cycled power on and the breaker stayed on this time. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I advised the customer that the wall oven is on the GFCI breaker that is labeled as the dryer. I tripped the breaker thats labeled for the oven and the customer tested the dryer and it would not come on. I recommended the customer contact their builder to have them correct the breaker issue. No further repairs needed at this time, job completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator making excess noise per customer. I ran the unit and started the compressor. I found when the compressor is running there is a noticible higher frequency noise coming from the compressor area. Advised customer that this noise did not seem excessive, but I would try and remove as much of it as I can. I found the noise would only lessen if I held onto the high side line going to the condenser. I added some sound pads to the line and found minor improvement. Called and reported to tech line, SR7738826434. Advised tech line of the repair made. Unit has no diminished function and is working as designed, with no other repairs recommended. Relayed information to customer who does not feel the noise was reduced and they were unhappy with the unit. No other repairs performed. Call completed."

I explained to the customer that its due to the grates sitting too high off of the burners and its the way the unit is designed and theres no repair for it. The customer advised that the same cooling issues that were happening prior, such as over temperature within the refrigerator and freezer, were still continuing. the customer also advised that intermittently the unit would give the tone for the automatic water dispenser at random times. On this service, I elected to bring anoscope and test incoming line voltage to the unit. I found a significant noise signature, but only when the customer would turn their water supply on and the well pump would engage. I found some other issues that were likely problematic and advised the customer and they will contact the proper servicer to address the issue. The customer will contact us after the issue has been resolved, if the issue persists. No leaks observed during service."

On arrival verified complaint of unit leaking internal and external. Found in FC the ice maker fill tube is splashing behind the evap cover and will need the tube extension. This is causing water to fill fc and overflow into RC. The RC water is from the overflow. The water on floor was found to be coming from the RC section as it flowed out the door. Verified no leaks in rear of unit at valve compartment. Pulled this fridge out with some resistance but was unable to tell why. Had my slide under it abut unit still fought to come out. After having maintenance help me slide it back we found a cabinet handle stuck under my slide from under the fridge. No floor damage was found to have been caused during this. Will need to order the fill tube extension rescheduled for 4/12; ordrng 1 Wp2174755 (Tube extension)

Arrived onsite for oven tripping the breaker. On inspection I pulled unit our and metered the amp usage. The oven never draw more then 18 amps. I set the oven on bake to 425? and the breaker did not trip. If you do the convection bake it will trip the breaker and if you use broil it will trip the breaker. Called talked with Eric at WP and did a few volt checks and we came up with the breaker being weak. Customer is going to change the breaker today and will call if issues continue. If a call back happens send both control boards for upper and lower ovens. W11525530

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice and not cooling correctly in either compartment. I found no air movement but the evaporator fan was running. I found the FC evaporator cover with frost build up on it. I found the icemaker mold full of cold water but not frozen because of the temp. I explained to the customer that this was why there was no ice. I tested the thermistors and found them good. I ran a forced defrost and found it working as designed. The top shelf in the freezer was packed with frozen product in bags and they fell off the shelf and wedged against the vents. I removed the frost from the cover, removed the cover, and found the evaporator packed in frost and some ice. I found the evaporator thermistor not mounted properly and loose. I suspect between this and the bags choking off the vents caused the defrost issue. I removed all the frost from the evaporator and tested the refrigerator. All is working as designed. Call complete."

"On arrival verified complaint of vent not running and no power. Found unit fuse is blown. Unsure where the spark complaint came from as customer states no spark. Brought unit down and inspected and found no visual damage. Put breaker tool on fuse and ran fan. Fan only gets voltage on high setting recommend replacing main board. Ran cycle and found unit heats correctly and doesnt blow fuse. Tested with magic lights tool got all three lights, opened door and closed multiple times nothing seemed to trip fuse. Spoke to SW recommend door interlocks for possible oil inside as unit is very oily. Light under unit is not working either. Ordering door interlocks, main board, light socket, and bulb. I powered on the unit and tested. I could not duplicate any failures. Unit was set to crushed ice, so ice door may not have closed. Based on some frozen trails ice fill tube may have also been obstructed / sprinkling. Added some tape over the tube to stop any further splashing. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has doors that wont seal. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they just got this unit and that it has been frosting up in the freezer and they have had icicles hanging from the top of the freezer. I did confirm the customer complaint and found the upper left him. Part of the gasket on the freezer door, not ceiling. I opened up the freezer and found a huge gap up at the upper left-hand corner, causing the door not to seal due to uneven surfaces. I found that the cabinet was bowing, outward at the edge, causing the gasket not to be able to fully seal. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7738825354. He had me send him several photos of the damage and advise that the gap was too wide to seal, and with the cabinet bowing, there would be no repair that could fix this issue. He advised that he would be sending this to review, and to inform the customer that Whirlpool would probably most likely be in contact with them within the next 3 to 5 business days. Call complete."
