Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making much ice and frosting up in the FC again. I found the FC at 5 degrees. I tested the thermistor from the control and it read as warmer than harvest temp. I ran a harvest and found the icemaker getting stuck at the break position and not returning to home position properly. I replaced the icemaker and ran harvest again. The icemaker works as designed. I found frost build up on the ice bin and around the bottom of the bin. I found the ice door not sealing properly and leaking warm air. The ice door separator will need to be replaced. I ran service test 90 and had 123VAC out of the main control between P2-5 and P1-2 but I had no amp draw indicating an open circuit. Either the heater or thermal fuse has failed. "Arrived on site to inspect microwave/oven wall combo unit with no power. Upon further inspection, I found the unit not installed in the cabinets and sitting on the dining room floor (photo). Using my multimeter, I tested voltage at the outlet and found 239V between L1 & L2, but no voltage between L1 & Neutral and L2 & Neutral. After further inspection of the outlet, I found the Neutral point of contacts inside the outlet were spread too wide and not making contact with the prong on the power cable (photos). I spoke with t(e builder and showed him the issue with the outlet. Recommended replacing the outlet and if there continues to be issues, to call our office to schedule service. Unable to test unit due to not being installed and unable to move the unit without scratching the floors. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining properly. Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of water in the tub and the sump. I pressed the cancel button and the drain pump came on and drained the water. I checked the drain hose under the unit and under the sink area and found debris at the disposal. It appears that debris from the disposal is entering the drain hose and settling causing it to clog. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. The unit operated as designed. Customer advised that they feel the disposal is too small for their home. It appears that the disposal tub is very small but its the proper horsepower. Since previous tech cleaned the drain hose and there is a continued issue with draining, I am ordering a new drain hose and will return with all prescreened parts and scheduled return service for 08/17/23. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling in the RC again. On arrival the customer stated they unplugged the unit and defrosted it for 48 hours. They stated water was under the deli and crisper drawers in the bottom of RC. They also stated there was some ice build up around the door of the FC. I found the FC at -2 degrees and the RC at 40 degrees but the unit was still cooling. I found the evaporators clear of frost and working as designed. I checked the RC drain with my camera and found it clear. I found the drip pan straight and not bowed. I found the thermistors good. I found the deli UI dry and working as designed. I did find some ice on the left and right sides of the FC liner by the door and along the bottom. The customer stated when all this happened the ice in the bin started melting. I suspect water from the bin and water from the RC leaked out and got around the FC door causing that issue but I could find no other issues or a reason for the RC drip pan not to drain properly in the RC at this time. The customer stated they never heard any fan noise. I went over with the customer what to look for and what to do if it happens again. At this time all is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a roof freezer that is making a rattling sound intermittently when the unit is running. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he was unable to get a video of it but that the unit will rattle multiple times a day. Found the unit cooling, but not replicating the sound while the unit was in use. Took off the bat cover, and began to hear a very slight sound coming from vibration on the return line from the condenser. Adjusted the return line tubing position and added pads between the compressor and the return line. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

The customer showed me that one of her produce drawers seems to fall any time that you pull the drawer out. Checked the drawer and found the drawer perfectly intact, but that on the side wall where the shelf is supposed to sit against the wall, there is a deformity on the wall that is causing the shelf not to seat properly and will not keep the shelf locked in place to properly hold the drawer. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Kurt Sr# 7737041240. He had me send him photos of the damage done to the refrigerator liner and advise that it would be set up to review. He advised to make no repairs at this time, and that whirlpool would contact my cell for the consumer based on the next steps. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a cooktop with one of the burners not igniting correctly. The customer stated the left rear burner was not lighting correctly. I found the left rear burner high flame very low and the outer center burner flame very low. I also found the low flame not adjusted on any of the burners. I found the wrong orifices installed in the left rear burner and outer center burner. I used W10853432 kit from truck stock and corrected the orifices and adjusted the low flame on all of the burners. Call complete.

The customer had the unit unplugged but advise the unit was making an electrical sound and was not actually running the compressor. Plug the unit in and took an amp draw of the compressor. Found the compressor pulling 9.25 A and dropping down to 9.12 A for five seconds before shutting down. Want to head and replace the start device and test the unit. the unit still did the same thing indicating a failed compressor. Ordering all sealed system components in the office. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not getting cold enough and warmed up for a long time but seems to have started cooling again. I checked temps and found the RC at 42 degrees and the FC at 16 degrees with neither dropping. Set temps were at 0 and 36. I found the compressor warm but the amp draw was good. I found no signs of oil anywhere. I found the FC door switch broken but the fan is on and working. I found the evaporator only frosting on the first two loops and stopping. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. I found the unit in the garage not connected to a water source. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the control fascia and tested. Unit continued to fail. Following the tech sheet, I tested the panel fascia harness and it is good. I had good incoming voltage, but no voltage going out of the control. Tested the drain pump and it is showing 20.4ohms. Removed and replaced the main control and attempted to calibrate the unit and found the lid lock mechanism not functioning. Tested the lid lock solenoid and found it open. Removed and replaced the lid lock assembly and calibrated and retested and unit is operating as designed. Contacted techline to document findings and spoke to Joe. I advised Joe of the previous repair and my findings. Joe documented info and provided SR#7737040586. I advised the customer of my repairs. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has uneven doors. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advise that the issue is with his refrigerator door not being completely flush with the freezer door at the top. I did confirm the customers complaint and found that the refrigerator door at the top was pulled out a fifth of an inch. Checked the gaskets and found that the freezer side gasket had molded in a way that was a little thinner than the refrigerator door dead. Attempted to fix the hinges for the door and found the issue not with the hinges, but with the gasket. I found no evidence of any frost or moisture in the freezer or refrigerator sections, indicating a good seal. I advise the customer that the issue is with the word gasket was molded to the cabinet. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7737044284. He had me send him several photos of what was going on, and advised that there was nothing wrong with the unit, and that the gaskets are going to form to however, they were shaped from the factory. He advised to make no repairs at this time and that the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the compressor, access valve and UV dye drier and vacuumed the system. Pressures held good. I installed 56g of R600 refrigerant and tested the unit. Unit is beginning to cool. I recommended the customer wait approximately 24 hours before placing food items inside. Arrived on site to diagnose cooktop with low heat. Examined unit and found no burners are getting very warm when powered on high. I checked the wiring at the wall and found the unit L2 was connected to neutral and the wall L2 was connected to nothing. Corrected wiring per install instructions and verified proper operation. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats not making ice again. I found enough digits missing on the UI that I couldnt tell where I was in diagnostics. I called techline and spoke with Austin SR# 7737044767. I gave him the history of what has happened with the unit. He advised replacing the UI again along with the fill tube heater. He suspects there is something happening with it causing the UI failure. Ordering W11404238 UI. Marking the fill tube and all other prescreened parts as UORV. "Arrived on site for cooktop, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was the igniter clicking at random times when not in use. Removed panel and found igniter switches sticky from something that got spilled. Called safety and spoke to Bianca SR#7736988836 and informed her of my findings. I. Recommended to replace the harness and that should take care of the problem. I got the approval to replace the harness and tested. Unit is now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for failed fridge door switch. Removed failed switch. Found terminals foamed in. Was able to pry out terminals. Connect new switch and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived onsite and used both element support kits to repair broil mount. All chrome is good. Advised customer on repair.
