"On site for a cooktop that is still having issues lighting the front left burner. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the last repair seem to work for about four or five days before it stopped working again. They advised that when they cook on that burner, and the burner itself is really hot, that sometimes the unit will ignite again, but they are having to manually light that burner when they use it. Disassembled the unit and found all connections were good. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7737094377. He had me go through a couple checks and advised that the issue would be with the spark module. Replaced the spark module and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. "I dont say for a refrigerator that is still making noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised at the unit has been better, but that it still makes a buzzing sound occasionally in use. The customer showed me a video of what was going on. Checked behind the compressor area and did find one refrigerant line that was touching up against the drip tray. Added sound pads to the refrigerant line as well as the compressor and surrounding areas. Once the compressor did kick on, the customer advised that the compressor sound, he was hearing was the sound That the unit was making but that sometimes it sounded a little louder. I did explain to the customer that the compressor sound was normal. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7737102484. He advised that based on everything that had been done that there is nothing else we could do to alleviate the sound, and that the compressor noise is normal with these newer units. Arrived onsite for a washer that is still leaking from the top or front of the washer. I tested the washer in diagnostics and inspected all water related parts finding nothing leaking. I visually inspected the unit and found a water trail running down the front of the tub under the fabric softener dispenser. I removed the top to inspect the tub ring and found an ankle sock in the tub ring stopping up the water holes. I removed the sock. I called techline and spoke with Brandon SR# 7737094581 giving him my findings. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is not producing ice properly. The customer stated its taken a week to fill the RC icemaker bucket and they have not been using the ice from that bucket. I found an E2 stored error. I tested temps and the FC was at 0 degrees and the ice box was at 8 degrees and still dropping. I tested the bin sensors and thermistors finding them good. I ran a harvest and found the icemaker motor stopping and starting sometimes with voltage to it. The icemaker filled properly. The icemaker needs to be replaced. Ordering W11658802 icemaker. The customer advised they looked online and found some troubleshooting tips on how to determine what was wrong with the ice production. She advised that she found something online showing that there is an issue with the harness at the bottom of the freezer door that can cause an issue. She advised that when she looked underneath that she found three wires that were split. I did confirm the customers complaint And did advise that she would need a new freezer door for repair. "Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will make one batch of ice if they turn it on, but will not continue to make ice after that first batch. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found all tests pass. Checked resistance on the bin through Mr. and found it at 2.7 kg ohms of resistance. I ran through a normal icemaking cycle and found the unit make a full slab of ice. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Nate SR# 7737095621. He had me toggle the max ice setting and found the unit come on. He advised that the issue is most likely with the user interface due to all components working properly, and that there have been service pointers on other ice machines that have the same issue. Advised to order the UI but to return with the control as well just in case. "Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop burner caps. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and they are operating as designed. The customer advised that they wanted the burner heads replaced because they discolored from liquid spills (photo). Customer advised that the burners dont always ignite properly and I advised that its due to debris in the burner heads thats restricting the gas flow. I verified with our Claims Dept. (MS) and was advised since their is a concession from the manufacturer the burner heads could be replaced. I advised the customer that normally the issue is cosmetic and the manufacturer only covers cosmetic issues for the first 30 days of the unit, but they are willing to cover it this one time. I am ordering all five (5) burner heads and screws and will return with the caps, as well. All five burner heads and caps need to be replaced upon return. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I was to install the upper spray arm, door gasket and upper rack manifold. I found the upper spray arm sitting on the countertop and found the mounting teeth broken (photo). I installed the new upper spray arm first and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed with no signs of a leak. I inspected the door gasket and it is in good shape with no signs of leakage. Also inspected the upper rack manifold and it is good. I explained to the customer that with the upper spray arm missing, the water is gushing from the manifold and causing it to overflow the reservoir and leaking onto the floor. I advised that the manifold and door gasket are not needed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator that was losing cooling. Examined unit and found it does cool and sometimes make ice, but the freezer compartment items were thawing out some and not staying fully frozen. Checked pressure and found that it felt a little low and -20 low, 40 high. I evacuated the system and pressurized with nitrogen after going over the entire unit with a black light to check for leaks. I found no leaks, and pressurized to 110 psi. I let the unit sit for 40 minutes and confirmed there was no pressure loss. This indicates either a weak compressor or it was not quite fully charged. I charged the unit to mfr specs and found pressures increased. Unit went back to cooling normally, and the compressor also sounded healthier. Unit now working as designed. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was going really well and then just completely died about a week ago. Found none of the fans or compressor. Running upon arrival. Started to pull out the refrigerator and found the compressor kicking on and making a loud buzzing sound before shutting off within five seconds. Took an amp draw off the compressor and found foot pulling 9.78 A before shutting down. Replaced the start device and capacitor and plugging it back in. Found the unit still doing the same thing indicating a failed compressor. Ordering a compressor, dryer, and access valve for the return trip. Arrived onsite for washer with a error code F3E2. I put the unit In diagnostic mode and the water ran for 10 minutes before a cancelled the cycle. I went to component testing and ran the drain pump and got the error F3E2 for the pressure switch. I gain access to the control board and found that the tube was not on the pressure switch securely. Cut a 1/4 inch off the tube and re connect it to the controller. I ran calibration mode and did a factory reset. Ran the unit in diagnostics mode and completed the cycle this time Went back into the component test and ran the drain pump again without getting the error code. Unit is operating as designed and no water detected during service.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was the door would fall straight down when opening due to the spring popping off. I pulled unit out enough to access the hinges and found the left spring popped out. I reinstalled the spring and put a slight bent on the receiver to prevent it from coming out. I then reinstalled the dishwasher and leveled properly. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed."

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. On inspection I ran 5he unit in diagnostics mode and it stopped early, the over flow float was activated. Manually drain the unit with cancel key. I pulled the unit out looking for a kinked drain hose found none. I looked under sink and they had the drain hose tied wrap up by faucet. I cut it lose and let it down and ran the unit in diagnostics mode again, this time it ran the whole cycle and drain all the water. I ran again to make sure. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer leaking gearcase oil. On arrival customer said they used it for a week and saw what they thought was oil. Examined unit and found no gearcase oil present at all. Ran a normal cycle and started seeing some water coming out behind the unit. Further inspected and found the unit was off level and diving to the front, so when it fills the water is splashing directly onto the tub ring/basket and running down the back panel. Adjusted level and retested. Verified leak was gone with proper level. Repair completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was throwing F2E2 error for disconnected UI. Error pops a couple minutes into the cycle. Replaced console / UI to resolve. Tested and found unit is properly progressing through cycles. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival found temps (actual) at 2-fc/46-rc. Found dampener opening as designed, evap and condenser fan running, and evap/Rc thermistors ohming at 9.8kohms-fc /6kohms-rc. Found evap had healthy frost pattern. Replaced both controls after findings controls not registering proper readings from thermistors. Informed cust9mer to give unit 48 hrs to stabilize temps, call complete"

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I installed the new igniter and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed but the unit still had no air flow and advised the customer to have someone come out and clean his vents.

Arrived on site to test unit for right front and left rear burner continue to click after ignition. Found igniter harness getting stuck. Replaced harness test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making noise during the spin portion of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is just really loud and they werent sure if there was an issue or not with the unit. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Due to, the washing machine being inside of the store and no water hook ups, I was unable to test the machine outside of agitation and spin. Checked both agitation and spin and found everything operating and working as designed. The customer advised the clanking sound between shifting was one of the sound they were hearing. I did explain that that is normal for this washer. Found all tests run as designed. Checked underneath the washer and did not find any evidence of the belt slipping or any damage done to the undercarriage of the washer. Tested the suspension suspension was good. I advised the customer that the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for. Washer not dr aiming water. Out. Upon arrival confirmed failure. Found drain motor ohming at 20.4 from the control. Found stable 120v connection to drain motor. Found drain motor internal propeller had broken free but unit had not clogs or debri in it. Replaced drain motor then reset and tested washer. Found no leaks and unit working as designed call complete.

"Arrived on site to test unit for loosing power. Had house keeper present and stated she uses unit constantly with no issues. Stated has rotating shift of helpers and one other house keep may have experienced issue. Ran diagnostics, attempted to replicate issue with no success. Noticed unit is not connected to WiFi. Replaced console anyway as a precautionary and advised to download app to connect to WiFi to ensure most current software available. Unit working as designed. Job complete."

KSDB900ESS4 GP arrived on site to inspect oven not leveled. Adjusted the unit and checked the leveling. No gas leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite for a dryer that will not turn on. I found the timer knob shaft split not allowing it to turn the shaft but the reason it split and broke is because the timer is locking up and hard to turn. I turned the shaft with pliers and tested the dryer. All other functions of the dryer are working as designed. The timer and knob need to be replaced. Ordering W11675852 knob and marking the timer as UORV. Office to RS.; ordrng 1 W11675852 (Knob)
