"Arrived on site for a dryer that keeps showing a Check vent screen when the customer is running a load. Inspected unit and work area. Check the vent hose off the back of the dryer and found no issues with the dryer vent going into the wall. I asked the customer to see where their dryer vent goes, and when I got up to the attic entrance, we found the vent making multiple 90? turns to get around a wall and up out of the corner of the roof. The venting system that they have beyond the multiple 90? turns is also very long and its probably over 65-75 feet between the dryer and where it vents out to. I explain to the customer that their venting is too long and with the multiple 90? turns, the machine cant push the air out because it was not strong enough to vent that far. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Austin SR# 7737303995. He advised that based on the venting situation, there would be no way that this dryer could ever vent out with the vent the way that it stands right now. He advised that they will need to update their venting to allow for proper airflow. He advised to make no repairs at this time and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for heat coming out of oven. On inspection the area where the heat is coming out of on the wall mount oven is the vent. The issue is that it is right below the cooktop. If you have the oven on and try to cook on the cooktop the hot air from the oven is right on top of your feet. This setup is a safety issue caused by a bad location of the oven. The unit was not secured to the cabinets because the cooktop regulator will not allow the oven to be pushed all the way back so you can mount the oven to the cabinets with screws. Informed the customer to contact the builder to get this resolved before somebody get burn from the hot air coming out of the oven while they cook. Took pics of the regulator and the wires that are exposed in the wall, no wall plate."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to leak several cups of water where they are having to mop up their floor in the kitchen when it does leak. I ran the unit through an auto test and was unable to replicate the issue through the entire diagnostic testing. I ran the unit through a normal wash cycle and sat and watched it for 30 minutes, it finally started leaking from the corner of the door but when I opened up the door and paused it, I could not find any water on the inside where the detergent was sitting. Attempted to replicate the issue again for another 20 minutes, and was unable to. Due to the issue leaking from the door in the door, hinge area, replaced the door gasket and tested the unit. The unit was working and operating as designed with no leaks present during operation. I told the customer to call us back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

Checked resistance of original bin thermistor found 4k ohms while buried in ice. Out of specs. Replaced and verified main reads bin thermistor in diag test mode. Cleared tub of all ice as it was severely degraded. Unit then began to make ice correctly. Advised 24hrs for full ice production.

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed part. Upon arrival I installed the new ui and tested got it connected to the WiFi and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

"Arrived onsite for a DW that is having issues with the door falling open on its own, and when it is opened it goes way past 90*. And the lower rack will roll of of it. Upon inspection I found that the latch and strike was not locking together well, I replaced them with new ones and found the the door snaps shut better. I the adjust the the door hinge springs so that there is more tension on the door and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed."

"Arrived on site for a wall oven that is flashing an F6 E6 error code. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me 10 videos of what happens with her unit and advise that shes has multiple codes that are becoming present. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F6 E6 (Upper appliance manager lost communication) and F6 E9 (lower appliance manager lost communication) error codes. The customer stated that this generally happens after steam is blowing out on top of the user interface from the top oven and that the control panel will be unresponsive for 3 to 4 hours before she can use the oven again when this happens. She also stated that when she runs the unit up to 400? on both ovens and turn down the light, sometimes the unit will shut off as well. I checked voltage and polarity and found proper voltage and polarity. Did find that the unit was on its own designated breaker. I tested the unit and diagnostics and could not get any component to fail. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7737300365. Based on everything that I told him, he advised that there were two issues. He stated that one of them is the user interface because the software on it had been updated on those user interfaces, and that that would be what is causing part of the problem. He also stated that the steam coming up and over the user interface is a clear indicator that, theres too much moisture content in the upper oven and advised me to tell the customer that they will need to cover any high moisture foods that they cook in the upper oven. He stated that with as much steam was going over the user interface, that it it into the control area, and potentially cause issues with the controls to short circuit. Ordering the user interface in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to an out of stock and PSP item.; ordrng 1 W11598136 (UI)"

Upon inspection I found the door was grinding on the hinge possibly preventing the unit from closing and there were gaps between the liner and the cabinet allowing airflow. Arrived onsite for unit not powering on. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found thermal fuse and cuttoff failure. Replaced both. Tested unit and unit is functioning properly.

RTW4516FW2 GP arrived on site to inspect washer turning off in certain cycles. Placed the unit into diagnostic mode and found F8E1 error code. Cleared code for testing. Found the cold water valve filling slowly. Inspected and found debris inside the water valve. Replaced the valve and tested and the unit passed. No water leaks observed during service. Zip tie applied to drain tube.

"Arrived on site for unit vibrating. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics and there are no saved error codes. Ran a spin test and found a bit more wobbling than normal. Found right rear foot is not leveled cause unit to wobble. Leveled all feet correctly. Test unit and is operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete"
