Arrived on site for a refrigerator model WRX986SIHV02 that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that after the previous technician left, within a day, the unit stopped making ice, and within two, the unit was not cooling. He said he cycled power twice and that after that, it started cooling again, but it took 36 hours to get to temperature. I checked the temperature and found the freezer at -0 degrees, the ice box at 6 degrees, and the refrigerator at 37 degrees. I gained access to the compressor and did not find the compressor overheating or over-drawing amperage. I found no defrost issue of any kind and checked inside the icemaker mold. I found no ice or water inside the ice maker. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found all tests run fine except the ice maker fill test. I found the valve would buzz but not dispense water. I checked the fill tube and found it frozen. I checked the voltage, going to the fill tube heater, and found no voltage. I called GC, and we traced voltage back to the control and found no voltage. I replaced the main control W10843055 and tested the voltage going to the fill tube heater. I found 117V indicating a good repair. I filled the icemaker and advised the customer to keep an eye on the unit. The unit it appears to be working and operating as designed. Call complete. No leaks were present during service.

Arrived on site for a microwave model WMH31017HS10 that wont heat. Inspected unit and work area. I confirmed the customers complaint and found the microwave wouldnt heat. I replaced the diode W11256462 due to oil spill on it and tested the unit. I still couldnt get it to heat. I checked all components and found the magnetron was faulty. I replaced the magnetron W11495561 and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts on a dishwasher model WDT730HAMZ1. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the control W11683480 and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during service. Call complete.

Arrived on site for washing machine model MTW7200RF1 not accepting selections. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised unit is difficult, turning on and off. Customer demonstrated holding power button 2-3 seconds; noted holding longer than five seconds triggers reset screen. Quick press of power button activated unit immediately. Tested power button multiple times; functioned properly. Explained to customer that holding power button any length confuses control, preventing selection acceptance. Customer practiced several times and understood console use. Assisted customer connecting to WiFi. Unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed and no leaks were present during service.

Arrived on site for an electric dryer model MEDC400VW0 that is not starting. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit sounds like its running but isnt. I confirmed the customers complaint and heard the motor running but the basket would not turn. I gained access inside and found the belt broken and the idler pulley broken. I replaced the rollers, idler pulley, and belt from a repair kit 4392065 and tested the unit. The unit began to tumble and heat as designed. I did find an airflow issue during testing. I found the issue was with the vent going through the wall and advised the customer to clean it out prior to further use ofnthe dryer. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a washing machine model MFW7020RF0 that is not dispensing fabric softener. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the machine works otherwise, beyond the fabric softner issue. I ran the unit through a quickwash and confirmed the fabric softener wouldnt dispense during rinse. I found both cold valves working separately, but not together. I replaced the cold inlet valve W11688995 and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed, dispensing fabric softener in the rinse part of the quick wash. Call complete. No leaks were present during service.

Arrived on site for a washing machine model WTW6157PB1 that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that some cycles run through and others dont. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. I checked the basket and found it properly secured to the drive shaft. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E3 (overload load), F0 E9 (off balance pause), and F8 E1 (long fill) error codes. I ran the unit through a diagnostic test and found all portions of the machine working and operating as designed. I advised the customer that all the error codes referenced loading issues and that with all the individual components working properly, I could find no fault with the machine. I went over loading recommendations, and the unit is working as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed and no leaks were present during service.
