Arrived on site for an electric dryer model LEC6848AQ0 that is not heating. On arrival, the customer advised the unit heated for the technician. She said her husband used it the next day and it stopped working on the first load and when they pulled the dryer out, they found the vent crunched. I verified the issue of no heat. Further inspection, I found the thermal cut off has failed. I found no issues with the heating element grounding or any other components. I replaced the thermal cut off 279769 and tested the unit on a timed dry high heat cycle with the vent hose detached. I watched the machine make 3 revolutions of temperature fluctuations between 121 degrees and 162 degrees, averaging a temperature of 141 degrees. I did explain to the customer that this would indicate.There is nothing wrong with the dryer side, and that the issue would be airflow related. I did advise the customer to update their vents and make sure their dryer vent is clean. The unit is working and opting as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site forna washing machine model MTW7205RW1 that is not starting cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she was surprised that we showed up because they got itnworking when they called Whirlpool and it has been working ever since. The customer advised that when they called, the machine would not start a cycle. She stated after unplugging the machine and plugging it back in, it has been working. I ran the init through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran a diagnostic cycle and found all components working and operating as designed. I did advise the customer that nothing appeared to be wrong with the machine at the moment and that the controls on these machines are like computers or phones that need to be rebooted from time to time. I did advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit.And to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. No parts were installed, and no leaks were present during service.

Arrive downside for a washing machine model NTW4516FW3 that is not spinning out properly and is making a lot of noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit goes off balance on every load with or without clothes. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was completely shot and bouncing like a ball. I checked the basket and found the basket properly secured to the drive shaft. I found no evidence of any gearcase leaks under the machine. Ordering the suspension W10780045 and rescheduling the customer to 4/2.; ordrng 1 W10780045 (Suspension)

"Arrived on site for refrigerator model WRS335SDHM07 leaking from outside. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that when installers hooked it up, it leaked from the inlet hose. He thought they tightened it, but sometimes found water on the floor after pulling out the refrigerator. Pulled out the refrigerator and found no water residue. Checked the inlet hose and found it not tightened all the way, leaking when wiggled. Tightened the inlet hose and tested the unit. Found the machine working and operating as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call complete."

"Arrived on-site for a washing machine model MVWC565FW2 that won't spin. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit would go to wash but would not spin out. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F7 E5 (shifter fault) error code. I tested the unit in manual testing and found the agitator would only spin one way when trying to spin the basket. I also found agitation wouldn't work either. I checked underneath and found the belt and splutch assembly stripped. I found all wiring in tact and the shifter completely seized in the wrong position. I replaced the actuator shifter W10913953, belt W11239857, and splutch assembly W10721967 and tested the unit. I found the shifter having a hard time shifting into agitation and causing the actuator to heat up. I checked the lower driveshaft and found it sliding up and down, indicating a gearcase failure. I replaced the gearcase W11454734 and calibrated the unit. I ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. No leaks were present during service."

"Arrived on-site for an electric dryer model MED5630HC1 that is making squealing noises when the unit is running. Inspected unit and work area. I found the machine in the garage. The customer advised they couldn't wait two weeks for a repair, so they got another one while waiting on repairs. I spun the drum by hand and found the basket hard to turn. I opened up the machine and found several rollers and the idler pulley stuck or hard to turn. I also found the belt starting to strip due to excessive stress. I replaced the rollers, idler pulley, and belt using a repair kit 4392067 and reassembled the machine. I was unable to test due to no access to a power plug. I spun the basket by hand and the basket spun freely without any abnormal sounds. I advised the customer to call back if any further issues persist. Call complete."
