"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s making a gargling sound as the door gets closed. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found the freezer making kind of a dripping and gurgling sound as it was being closed. Customer had the icemaker off and I had a customer turn the icemaker on to watch it cycle. The unit ran as designed without any kind of air bubbles or anything in the unit. I called tech line and spoke to Chris SR# 7730307242. He advised that what was happening was that the drain tube grommet on the back of the unit was holding a small amount of water and was being vibrated when the door was closed, allowing the water to drip down into the drain pan. Tested the unit several other times by opening and closing the door and found the sound had gone away. He advised that this was normal operation and if the customer did not want to continue hearing that noise, he could remove the grommet. The unit is installed in the wall and attached to the freezer side. I did advise the customer we could come back to remove the grommet if he wanted but the customer advised if he was going to have his contractor pull it out, he might as well do it himself since there wasn?t much more to it.

DRYER MAYTAG MEDX655DW1 Arrived on site for a dryer that was making a rattling sound during operation. Inspected unit and work area. Tested unit in a time dry normal cycle and found cabinet rattling when in use. Customer advised that she wasn’t sure if it was really an issue but it just has seemingly gotten louder since they bought it. Advise customer of the issue and tighten screws all the way around the dryer. Added sound pads and tested unit. Unit became much quieter. I advise the customer that it is normal for dryers to become a little louder as they get older just due to moving parts. Went over user care guide and nit is working as designed. Call complete.
