"Arrived on site to test unit for not heating. Upon arrival customer stated an inspector using a hanging thermometer claimed unit was 30? off temp. Explained to customer that aftermarket thermometers, especially hanging thermometers, are not recommended by manufacturer due to the fact they cannot keep up with fluctuations in the temps. Tested unit by preheating to 350? and using thermocouple to gauge temperature. Unit reached 380? and than begin to cycle down to 350? in a 10-15 minute period. Unit is cycling and heating properly. Explained to the customer that unit will reach a higher temp to account for the door opening, than in the next 15 mins unit will balance out at 350?. Unit is running as designed, job complete."
