I talked with the customer about the functionality of a touch panel interface like this one, and that they are very sensitive to steam and moisture and must be treated differently. Repair completed.

Arrived on site for washer WTW4816FW3 with chipping basket and also not spinning out some loads. I examined the unit and found half a dozen spots on the basket that had their coating chipped away, causing rust spots. I checked for errors and found an F8E1 for slow fill. Suspension and spanner but are good. Tested valves and found almost no hot water coming in at all. Replaced Valve W11210463, and basket W10554251. Calibrated unit and tested. Verified all functions working as designed. No water leaks observed.

I received a text notification a few days prior to the appointment time, as a reminder. On the day of service, I received a phone call to inform me that the tech (Robert) was 15 minutes out. Robert introduced himself upon arrival. He was very courteous and friendly with my puppy, who was happy to see a new friend. Robert had everything on hand and repaired the fridge in a timely manner.
