Arrived on site to diagnose unit displaying F8E4 error code (water detected in float switch). Inspected float assembly and found water present in the float pan. Removed water and reset unit. Ran diagnostic and test cycle and observed water leaking from the fill valve during the fill portion of the cycle. Determined fill valve was the source of the leak. Replaced fill valve and reassembled unit. Ran multiple test cycles to verify repair. Unit is now filling properly with no leaks observed at this time. Unit operating as designed. Job complete.
