"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and checked temperatures in the fridge and freezer sections. Found the refrigerator at 38?F and the freezer at 20?F. Due to sealed system repair done or year and a half ago, took pressures on the Unit and found the high side at 105 psi in the low side at -10 psi. Check for die around the unit and could not find any dye anywhere. Went ahead and charged the unit and tested pressures. Found the refrigerator showing 140 psi on the high side and zero psi on the low side. Advised the customer to keep an eye on the unit and call back if ice production stops again. Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that is not turning on. Found breaker tripped and reset it. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time. Advised customer on issues between gfci and afci protected circuits and that appliance manufacturers do not recommend connecting units to these type of circuits as ungrounded parts can cause them to trip.

Arrived on site to replace door switch for refrigerator. Replaced switch and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and I did not see the element illuminate at the back right corner. I disassembled the unit and retested and found the element has failed. I removed the element and found it burnt and warped. I replaced the element and retested and found the element continued to fail. I tested voltage at the wall outlet and got 242V. Tested voltage at the element and it is not getting voltage. Following the tech sheet, I tested the control and found it has failed as well. Removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit is operating as designed. Arrived onsite to inspect cooktop not installed correctly. Cooktop is moving over and exposing the cut out. Cooktop was installed with plumbers straps causing the center of the cabinet to bow and the cooktop was already up against the right side were it was up against the cabinet. Arrived onsite to inspect dishwasher making loud noise and not running cycle. I found error codes F10E2 and F7E1. I pressed the cancel button and found the drain pump very noisy. "Arrived on site for a dryer that is still not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that after they had their vents cleaned, the unit still takes 90 minutes to dry a load of clothes. Ran event test kit on the unit and found poor airflow circulation on all dryers with the vent hose on and good airflow for all dryers with the vent hose off. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Butch SR# 7734587726. He had me check cycling temperatures on the exhaust. Found the exhaust cycling between 161?F and 131?F averaging of an internal temperature of 145?F. He advised that was good and indicated that the dryer is working properly. He advised that the issue was with the airflow going up and out of the home. The customer attempted to check to see what the issue was in the attic and was having me run testing on the dryer with altercations he was making inside the attic with removing the vent hose from the attic going out. He explained that the vent hose makes a sharp turn back down and then a goes upward going out. I did explain to the customer that the issue was probably most likely with the venting in his attic. Advise the customer there is no further repair that we could make to this unit that would change how this dryer works. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for microwave smoking during use. Upon arrival confirmed customer complaint, but customer did state unit had still been heating fine prior to issue occurring. After disassembly of unit I found no signs of burns/damage on an heating hardware or wires/connections. Did find capacitor was to hot to touch physically after running a minute water heating test as well as a 10 minute bowl of ice test back to back. Replaced capacitor and diode and reported findings to techline Scott sr#7734586497. Unit functioning as designed call complete"

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator not getting cold enough. Took Temps at time of arrival and found FC ar 2, RC at 42. Checked airflow and had minimal airflow coming from diffuser, but a healthy frost pattern at the evaporator. Compressor was at average operating temp, and not excessively hot. I blasted the return vent and diffuser channel with steam to clear out any blockages. Based on some ice i had seen on the panels, unit may have briefly lost cooling one or more times. Checked sealed system again for leaks with black light and did not find any other leaks. If unit loses cooling it has to be due to a leak in the cabinet which we can not repair, since there is no evidence of leaks in other areas. Advised customer there are no further repairs I can do at this time. Call complete."

Customer advised some of the cycles at tends to do it on and noticed the fabric softener was being activated on those cycles. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Chris SR# 7734572932. He advised there is a known issue with the tub rings and that they are being updated for these unit with the fabric softener dispensers at the front left corner. He advised there is no known ETA for the part in question. He advised to have the customer call back inside n a couple of months to check on the status of the tub ring to see if it is available at that time. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling to possibly replace previous diagnosed parts. I found the unit with power and everything running but both compartments were at room temp. I tested the compressor with a test inverter. I found it only putting out 28 watts and dropping to 14 watts almost immediately. I put the 3way valve in the home position and tested pressures. I found the system flat and no refrigerant in the system. I exposed both evaporators and filled the system with 127psi of nitrogen. I put bubble solution on both evaporators and all solder joints finding no leaks. I called techline after 30 minutes and the gauges still showed 127psi. I spoke with JR SR# 7734573815 at the 45 minute mark of the call and the gauges still showed 127psi. I explained to JR what I had found and what happened on the previous visit. He stated the compressor and drier needed to be replaced. He also wanted the 3way valve replaced because of the possibility that no nitrogen entering the FC. I removed the compressor, drier, and 3way valve. I hooked nitrogen to the FC capillary and made sure it was clear. I found the FC side of the 3way valve partially restricted when I blew through it. I replaced all 3 parts and put the new 3way valve in the home position and filled the system with 130psi of nitrogen. After 30 minutes the gauges were still showing 130psi. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 4.65 ozs of R134A. I tested the unit and both evaporators were building frost. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite to inspect refrigerator not dispensing ice. The ice shoot was completely clogged with ice blocking ice from dispensing. I found the shutter on the ice bin stuck open from a piece of ice allowing ice to continue to drop into the chute. I cleared the ice and the shutter on the bin started working as designed. I found the ice door on the separator not sealing and leaking warm air causing the chute to sweat and allow ice to stick to the sides of the chute. The separator will need to be replaced. Ms stated the unit would not dispense water correctly. I found very slow water flow out of the dispenser. I found the filter housing door taped closed. I removed the tape and the filter would pop out and not keep the filter installed properly. When the filter was removed there was good water flow. The housing needs to be replaced and possibly the filter. I advised the customer that they could order a filter or I would bring one because it would need to be replaced when the housing is replaced. "Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed parts. I gained access to the hinges and replaced them with new. I tested the door and still found it lifting on the left side of the door. I called techline and spoke to Rich. I advised him of my findings and he recommend replacing hinge receivers and the inner door rails. "Arrived to inspect door closing issue. I found the left RC door closer cam had stripped and will require replacement. I was able to temporarily get the door to close, but the adjustment is unable to be performed. The right RC door gasket is starting to tear at the lower flap and the left leveling leg requires replacement as well. No leaks observed during service. Arrived on site to replace previously ordered parts for washer. Upon trying to remove rotor found rotor bolt seized and stripped preventing repairs. Drive assembly and gearcase will all need to be replaced to complete repairs. Arrived onsite for refrigerator ice maker not making ice. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found multiple appliances in home affected by lightning strike. Found ice maker motor fried. Ran diagnostics test and confirmed issues. Unit will need ice maker replaced. Customer will be contacting home insurance . Will contact office if moving forward.

"Arrived onsite for E1 F3 ERROR CODE . Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got error codes F3-E1 water level system error, F8-E3 over flow condition, F9-E1 long drain, Found drain pump making louder than normal sound. Also found standing water in bellow and taking too long to drain. Bellow was completely clogged with debris. Cleared debris and all water drains correctly.No leaks present at this time. Job complete"

"Arrived to inspect airflow error code. Both the electronic vent tester and manual card stock method showed a very high to nearly complete restriction of airflow when the vent tube was connected. The unit operated as designed without the venting connected. I advised the CX of my findings and that they will need to have the vent cap and associated venting within the structure inspected for restriction. No gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I removed and replaced the smart valve assembly and tested. I found no signs of leaks after the replacement. Operation test good.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator. Found the diffuser frozen and inoperable. After replacing the diffuser I ran the unit through diagnostics and it operated as designed. No leaks found during service.

Arrived on site for range with front right burner not functioning. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found cause of smell and failure was faulty wiring as well as broken element. Unit showed signs of previous splicing repair to wiring that had melted and wires wire clipped to far back to safely repair. Found harness after speaking with SR about part availability. Due to wiring failure unit cant be reliably repaired and will need replacement. Need findings reported. Call complete

Arrived on site to diagnose a freezer that is not cooling properly. Found control not cycling defrost but heater activates in diagnostics. Replaced control and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time. Customer to thaw unit for 24 hrs and has signed waiver.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher, inspected unit and work area. CX complaint was unit not draining. Tested unit and verified and found it draining as designed. CX explained that when they removed the filter screen water was sitting at the bottom, I explained to CX that it was normal to have some water at the bottom. Unit is operating as designed, no leaks where observed during service. Job completed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Gained access dryer and recovered the system and access the compressor and RC evaporator unbraced the joints and replaced them with the new parts and braced. Verified my work and then vacuumed the sealed system and then charged it with R134. Reassembled unit and tested. Also found a rust spot at the back of the refrigerator that can cause all types of issues in the future the CX is aware that refunds cant be issued. Explained to CX unit would start to cool back up within 24hrs. No leaks where observed during service.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not turning on. Inspected unit and work area. CX stated no power to dishwasher. Verified outlet to dishwasher was correct. Inspected junction box on dishwasher and observed loose wire connections. Secured loose wire connections and verified unit was receiving 120VAC. Ran unit through diagnostics and found no issues with components. Unit is working as designed. No leaks were observed during service. Job complete.

arrived on site to test unit for lower oven not heating. Test unit and found and tod and maybe bad control board.

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is not producing ice. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit through diagnostics. Found that the fill valve would not let any water through even when the filter was removed. Replaced the inlet water valve and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not dispensing water properly. Upon further inspection, I tested the water dispenser and found the water dispensing slowly. I removed the filter and retested and got the same results. I disconnected the water line at the inlet valve and tested water flow and found the valve had failed. removed and replaced the inlet valve and retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
