Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the door latch and tested the unit. The door lock worked as designed and went thru the safety child lock cycle but the unit would not fill or do anything else. The UI did not count down. I called techline and spoke with Andy. After some test he stated to test the harness and then replace it if needed but if it checked good to replace the main control. I tested the harness and it checked good but while checking the harness I tested the new door latch and the door switch on the new latch is defective. The original latch had a defective solenoid and switch. Ordering another switch. Office to RS.; ordrng 1 W11035628 (Latch)

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced the user interface and gave the unit five minutes to update. Went through diagnostics and could not get the unit user interface to update with the model and serial numbers needed for the unit to work properly. Removed the new user interface and checked the old user interface for the model and serial numbers. Found the proper model and serial numbers on the old user interface and allowed the unit to sit for five minutes with the old user interface plugged in. Disconnected the unit and attempted to try to use the new user interface again. Check the unit again after five minutes and then another five minutes and still could not get the model and serial numbers to update. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Drew SR# 7734667868. He had me check voltage from the control to the UI and found the yellow to black wires bouncing between 5V DC to 0 V DC consistently. He advised that the issue is with the main control because its not allowing the proper communication to the user interface to allow the user interface to update the model and serial information on the new user interface. Advised this also might be the cause of the heat the dryer stopping midcycle due to programming not being compatible between the UI and ACU. He advised to order the control and return with the user interface just in case. Ordering the control and the office will need to contact the customer about our return date due to limited parts availability.; ordrng 1 W11618917 (Control)

Ran diagnostics found unit would exit out of diagnostics and shut off,after shutting off unit would power on and off. Diagnosed a defective main control,replaced main control powered unit on unit powered on ran diagnostics evaporator fan not powering replaced defective fan motor fan powered on. Fan covered by appliance express warranty.

"Arrived on site. Pierced valve on low side found dye in valve,checked low side pressure reading -20 no traces of dye in compressor compartment,removed both evaporator covers no traces of dye on either evaporator possibly leak internally.

"Arrived onnsite to follow up on sealed system repair for failed compressor. Pierced system and found pressure still remaining. Evacuated system and replaced compressor and dryer. Vacuumed system for 30 minutes and verified good pressure held. Did find a large amount of oil in the system which appears to be cleared now. Pressures held. Charged to 5.9 Oz R134. CX reports sometimes her clothes dont completely dry when the dryer is set to a sensing cycle. I found that the dryer legs were completely up and the dryer needed to be leveled. Leveled the dryer. Arrived onsite for a dryer that the drum lamp turns on when the door is opened but the unit will not turn on. I found the main control not sending 5 volts to the control panel. The main control was getting supplied with 123VAC. The main control would need to be replaced

"Arrived onsite to inspect dishwasher not draining. I found an obstruction in the pump and cleared it. I tested the unit. Operational test good. However, the water intake gasket is leaking water and the inlet water line from the home has a small leek from the crimp on the hose. CX has elected to replace the reservoir himself. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite to inspect dryer drum not turning. Upon arrival CX reported that the drum turns, but when it does it makes a very loud screeching noise. I tested the unit and the noise is coming from the blower wheel. I found two broken pens, a mangled nail, and some sling shot pellets in blower wheel. I cleaned out the blower wheel and tested. Operational test good. Call complete

Arrived onsite for range display scrolling and blinking. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found issue on display present and will not clear. Also found that the unit has an error code preventing oven from being used. F3E0 shorted oven temperature sensor. Disassembled unit and accessed harness to sensor. Sensor ohmed 1098 at room temperature. Found main control causing error code by not reading the temperature correctly and also causing the display to flicker.

Arrived onsite for washer not responding or turning on. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found unit totally non responsive. Checked power supply and found open ground on outlet. Used extension cord and power unit. Found UI communication error. UI no longer communicating with control. Potential shorted due to outlet. Replaced control and tested. Arrived on site and found homeowner has not had an electrician out yet. 10 paired old control board and new control board and all motor and new motor and dryer still loses power very quickly and shows a PF. Lights in the room also visibly flicker. Customer is now convinced that they have a power issue not an issue with the dryer

"Arrived on site for washing machine drain motor running constantly, and the lid being locked. I opened the lid and unlocked the door. I removed the clothes in the unit. I was able to get the unit into diagnostics mode. I found it filling, but throwing an F3e1 water level system error. I removed the pressure hose and blew through it. I tested voltage to the sensor and found proper voltage

Arrived on site to test unit for red dot. Found red dot to be unit not connected to Wi-Fi. Connected unit to Wi-Fi

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the ice maker and it harvested, but failed to complete harvest and dispense water into the tray. I removed the ice maker and found the heater had corroded and shorted out. I removed and replaced the ice maker and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I cycled power to the unit to reset controls. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not washing correctly. Test unit and found unit not draining correctly. Test unit fans found glass in the unit and found plastic stuck in drain motor. Removed plastic test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that had been making some noise and had some fluctuating cooling. On arrival checked Temps and found RC at 39, FC at about 12 degrees. I checked all components and found the sealed system working properly. No excessive Amp draw from compressor, healthy frost pattern on evaporator. Fans are blowing good, and no indication of failure in the control. I found the drain tube had a ton of space / gapping on the sides of it going into the cabinet, so I used some truck stock permagum to fill the space around the drain tube and seal it, also sealed liner with adhesive. Door gaskets sealed. Could not find any other failures with unit. Issues with Temps are either from an air leak causing excessive ice or liner is thinning out keeping unit running. No other repair recommended. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for ERROR CODE F8 AND IT WONT DRAIN - MAKING A HUMMING/BUZZING NOISE LIKE ITS STUCK. CANT UNLOCK. Upon arrival inspected unit and door is locked with water inside. Ran diagnostics and got F9-E1 long drain,F3-E0 F5-E2 lock failure,F8-E1 valve failure , F8-E3 overflow, F0-E2 over suds, F5-E2 lock failure. Test unit and drain pump has failed. Removed front panel and inspected drain pump. Found debris in filter and caught in impeller causing impeller to fracture. Need to replace drain pump. Replaced drain pump and test unit. Unit operates as designed. No leaks present at this time.

"Arrived onsite for MAKING A NOISE SIMILAR TO BEFORE REPAIR. DOOR IS VERY LOOSE, STILL ON THERE BUT DROPS DOWN. Upon arrival test unit and found noise coming from blower area. Inspected blower and found screw on housing was not secured. Secured screws on house and test unit. Unit is now operating as designed. Inspected door and found bottom of hinge is worn. Need to replace hinge Replaced hinge and door now opens and closes correctly.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with frost built up inside. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=11 degrees and RC=44 degrees. I found the RC section with ice built up at the bottom of the evap,cover (photo). Also, I found moisture on the cabinet liner in the FC section with some frost on the back wall (photos). I inspected the door gaskets and found the FC door gasket has a gap along the bottom of the door and the RC gasket has a gap at the bottom corner near the mullion (photos). I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the thermistors and fans and all passed. I contacted techline and spoke to Chris and advised of the complaint and my findings. Chris requested photos and I provided photos of the cabinet behind the toeplate using a long piece of straight cardboard to show the metal is bowed and creating the gap with the gasket (photos). I provided several photos showing the bowing and how the center mullion sticks out away from the cabinet as well. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

On arrival spoke with homeowner who advised me the inspector had said it wasn't heating hot enough after measuring with an IR thermometer. Tested unit and measured Temps. Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not sealing properly. Found gap between cavity and lower mullion. Sealed gap with food grade silicone and no other repairs needed. No leaks were found at time of service.

"Test 56 shows E0, freezer temperature is 7 degrees, test 57 runs properly but test 45 water line is frozen. After thawing water line with steamer it will now fill with water properly. If issue continues heater will need to be replaced, job complete"

Arrived on site for washer making rattling noise . Found warranty company dispatched wrong model number . Talked to MS . Customer will need to reach back out to warranty company and have then dispatch with correct model.

"Arrived on site for burning smell and vibrating dryer . Found belt wasnt on tension pulley but on shaft of pulley . Causing smell and vibration. Reset belt and all checked normal. Called safety , same sr number . Also recommended custome clean exterior venting . Job complete"

Arrived onsite for a washer that is showing a F02 code. Upon arrival I found that the cx had already taken the top off of the machine. And the drain hose was not installed properly I corrected the drain hose then checked the drain pump trap and and found it clogged. I cleared it and then checked the impeller for anything obstructions and if the motor on the pump was hot all checks good. I ran a few quick wash and drain cycles and found unit operating as designed. Job complete.

JM: Arrived onsite to inspect washer making scrapping noise. I placed unit in a diagnostic cycle. CX reported that the sound she was hearing was when the unit would agitate. I instructed the CX that the unit is operating as designed. No leaks observed during service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite to inspect oven powering off during cooking. I found error code F2E1. I tested unit in a bake cycle and I found the control panel failing giving F2E1 with proper voltage going to it. R/R UI control and tested. Unit is now operating as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite to inspect refrigerator not cooling. I temperature tested FC and got 65?. I checked pressures of the sealed system and the pressures were low.I found a pin hole leak on the yoder loop were the splice was put on the condenser.I used my torch kit to seal the pin hole, vacuumed the system and recharged it. I tested unit. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer not heating. I test the unit and found the flame not igniting. I ohmd out all components and found the ignitor open. I replaced the ignitor and the unit began working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install the heater per the special project. I installed the heater and then test the unit. I found it working as designed with no leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.
