Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not washing clothes well. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the issue with the washer is that the washer does not fill high enough and thus does not submerge all of her clothes in the washer. She advised that she does notice that unit will complete each cycle but shes having to wash loads twice sometimes in order to get them actually clean. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored air codes. I ran the unit through an auto test twice and the unit ran as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Scott SR# 7735034302 . He had me run a calibration on the unit and advised there is nothing more we can do on this washer due to all components working as designed. He advised the issue would have to be a use and care issue otherwise. Went over Techlines findings with the customer and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon inspection, I found the chassis was forced into the cutout due to the lower front of the cabinets not being prepped properly. This caused the chassis to be warped and it was evident from the venting at the top of the microwave door having a droop due to pressure applied at the sides, causing the vent to buckle. The lower front border at the bottom front of the unit was incorrectly cut out, causing the vent to press against it. The sides of the cabinet board that was cut incorrectly, show movement back from the pressure of the chassis pressing back and binding. The CX has been having issues with the door and required additional closing attempts the get it to operate and to shut the interior light off, which is an indication of the warped chassis. I advised the CX that the cabinet issue will need to be corrected before and further repair maybe attempted and likely not required."

Found that fridge has little to no food product stocked. With no product to cool and limited door swings the temperature will gravitate towards the water line and freeze. Recommended lowering settings to level 2 when not stocked and raising back to level 3(recommended when fully stocked. Also running the dispenser at least once daily will keep line from freezing. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the drawer does not lock into place. The CX stated that the middle drawer and shelf comes out of place when opening the drawer or putting anything heavy on the shelf. The bottom shelf and the middle shelf are the same part number so I swapped them to see if it would lock into place on the middle section and had the same results with it coming out. I pushed both shelves against the left side of the liner and measured the gap on the right side between the shelf and liner. The middle shelf has a 7/16 gap and the bottom shelf has a 1/4 gap. I called techline and spoke with Sterling SR# 7735034825. Unit is getting sent up for product review. I called the customer and let them know. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher not stopping. I found out from the customer the unit would. It start. I put the unit through a diagnostics cycle and found fault code F4e4 wash motor error. I tested the motor from the control and found 17.2 ohms across all 3 windings. I tested voltage from the control to the motor and found it dropping to 60 vac. I found good voltage to the control. I replaced the control and retested the unit. The unit filled, and the wash motor came on it, drained and the heating element activated. Job complete."

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher not drying correctly. I tested the dishwasher in diagnostics and found no error codes present. The unit completed the cycle and worked as designed but I did find the pump motor cavitating from to many suds because the rinse aid was set just under max. I turned the rinse aid setting down and explained to the customer what to watch for with pump cavitation and suds. The tub is curing because the water droplets at the end of the cycle are far apart from each other. I added some oil to remove the suds and tested the unit again with the dispenser lower. Arrived onsite for convection fan not working. On inspection but the unit in diagnostics mode and found error F2E1 Key stuck. I cleared the error and ran the unit in self test mode and the error came back. I cleared the error again and did a factory reset and re ran the self test and the error came back ordering a control board W1102943. After the factory reset the convection fan started to work. "Arrived onsite for for dryer that will not power up. On inspection found all the components on the back test good. Tested the timer found the time was bad replaced it. Still no power, talked with Susie and we trouble shoot the control and found 2 resistor were bad on the control board. When we were testing the circuit when you pushed the power button the voltage would drop from 118 vac to 6 vac. We isolated the motor and the circuit would stay at 118 vac when the power button was pushed when the motor was out of the circuit. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator still making a noise. I could hear the unit making a tapping noise again after the compressor came on and I could hear the noise in the FC. I removed the door and baskets from the unit with it running and could still hear the noise but when I removed the evaporator cover the noise stopped. I found the capillary tube out so far that it was making contact with the evaporator cover. I pushed and bent the suction and discharge lines towards the back of the liner and reinstalled the cover and the noise didnt return. The customer stated he would text me later and let me know if the noise returns. Upon removing the bins I found the thermistor cover not snapped in place and found the locking tab broken off. Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing water properly and leaking from icemaker. I will confirm the icemaker legal to do two separate or not sealing causing ice to form and milk together in ice bucket. Also found filter head reservoir was failing to seal around filter. "Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the washer leaked water from underneath. I inspected the valve/hose connections at the back of the console and they were good with no signs of leakage. I found the drain hose was 4 inches in the standpipe. I tilted the unit back and inspected underneath and found no evidence of water leaks anywhere. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and when the unit began to drain, I found water backing out the standpipe (photo). I stopped testing and placed the unit in manual diagnostics and slowly drained the water from the unit and monitored the standpipe. I was able to get the unit drained. Tested agitate and spin and the unit is operating as designed. Using my borescope, I checked the standpipe for clogs and found it clogged appropriately 6-8 inches down (photo). I recommended that the customer contact to clear the debris. No water leaks observed, within the unit, during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has a door that wont close. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they have a number of issues that they wanted me to look at including their freezer door not shutting fully, their pantry door not shutting properly, no ice production from either ice maker, and water dripping from their ice dispenser consistently. Confirmed all the customers complaints and found the rails on both freezer door and pantry doors worked broken and not closing properly. Also found the ice door separator leaking warm air into the ice bin area and causing condensation. I advise the customer that we would not be able to fully determine whether either icemaker needs to be replace due to loss of freezer air temperatures and all compartments. Advise the customer that we would at least need to replace the slides on both drawers and the ice door separator.

Arrived onsite and found unit with SD error and f9e1 long drain. Determined the drain trap is clogged. Cleared water from unit and found clothing in the drain trap causing long drain removed and provided maintenance instruct on procedure.

Inspected brackets and found they are both plum but door is not. Freezer door, Support bar and ears would need to be replaced at minimum

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised of the unit will fill but will not wash the clothes or spend them out. Ran into diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low /no water detected during fill) error code. Test of the unit in manual testing and tested both hot and cold valves. Found very weak water pressure coming through the valves on both sides. Checked behind the unit and found that the unit was hooked up to one water pipe with a Y splitter leading to the back of the unit. Found water pressure was weak from the water supply and did advise the customer that their issue is an installation one. Advise the customer to have thetheir water supply updated to have a hot and cold line going to each valve. I also advised that they should have their water pressure checked due to insufficient supply. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Tested the valves and found the cold water valve not pulling in any water. Remove the hose from the cold water valve and found buildup inside of the valve assembly. Replace the water valve and test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to disassemble both oven doors to clean the inner glass. I disassembly the doors and removed the glass so the customer can clean them. After cleaning I reassembled the doors and reinstalled them. They are now clean and shutting properly.

Arrived on site for range tripping breaker in oven was in use. Upon arrival found no error codes and diagnostics indicating a hardware failure. Then check voltage from the outlet and found a stable on correctly polarized 240 V. Found range had a gfci breaker installed causing breaker to continuously trip. Explained to customer they would need to contact their builder and have dedicated circuit installed without gfci. Range is functioning as designed. Call complete

"Arrived on site for LG washer, inspected unit and work area. CX complaint was washer off balance code and a UE CODE. Ran unit in diagnostics and found no problems. Tilted unit and inspected the stator and rotor and it looked good. Control board will have to be replaced to fix the problem. No leaks where observed during service

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed condenser fan motor.. Completed repair and tested. All checks good.

"Arrived on site for fresh food leaking and water on floor . Found no frost build up, drain tube was clogged up . Cleaned fresh food drain tube . No other issues found . No water leaks detected at time of service

"Arrived onsite for it's the heating element needs to be replaced. It overheats no matter what temperature is set at. Upon arrival customer stated that all burners get hot even when set to low heat. Test unit and set to low but unit heats up to full heat. Found front left and front right burners never cycle. Contacted SW for assistance. Recommended replacement of both front left and front right elements due to elements having temperature sensors. Job complete"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is not cooling correctly in either compartment. The CX stated it was cooling ok in the RC but the FC wasnt cooling at all and it stopped making ice a few days go. I ran some test and found the FC evaporator fan not running. I found the door on the FC not closing correctly and a large gap halfway down both sides of the door and along the bottom because the drawers and the bin was not installed correctly. I corrected the drawers and the bin so the door would close and found the evaporator completely frozen up. I explained to the customer that the air gaps from the door not closing caused this. I ran a forced defrost and the unit worked as designed. I explained to the CX that they would need to defrost the unit and then see if the fan would start working again. I went over laying out towels around the unit. The upper rails are also bad for the top drawer and need to be replaced. I also found the deli UI and wiring in the deli drawer badly corroded and explained to the CX what this could cause. MS stated they never had any cooling issues until just now.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser not shutting off. Upon further inspection, I found the unit in the garage with the water turned off. I removed the dispenser assembly and found water behind the assembly and the harness badly corroded (photo). Also found the dispenser switch connection badly corroded (photo). I advised that due to the corrosion on the switch is what caused the dispenser to be activated and spray water without pushing on the dispenser arm. I traced the harness back to the side of the door where it goes inside the door. I advised the customer that the only way to replace the harness is to replace the door. I also found the ice door not sealing properly and allowing warm air up inside the ice bin melting the ice. Customer advised that they would leave the water turned off to the unit. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed float switch seal. Cleaned unit seal and tightened nut. Tested unit for leaks and found unit is now operating as designed Leak free. All checks good. Advised customer on repair.

"Arrived on site for whirlpool fridge freezer ice maker not producing any ice. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the ice maker receiving good voltage. But will not cycle when called for.. I installed the new ice maker. I found it cycling and filling. The unit is working as designed.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher not cleaning the dishes. I inspected the unit and work area. I found no fault codes in diagnostics. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit filling with water. I found the wash motor activating. I found both spray arm( upper WPW10317197 , lower WPW10319027) jets clogged with debris. I tried to remove the debris but could not remove all of it

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making noise during operation. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised the unit seem to be making the noise when the unit went to cool but did not happen every single time. Remove the back cover and found one of the return refrigerant lines touching against the bottom of the cabinet causing the rattling. Added some insulation to the refrigerant line and advised the customer of the issue.Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a dryer that you can hear a hum but the drum doesnt turn. I found the unit stacked and ai could hear the motor running but drum wasnt moving. I found the belt broken and the idler bad. I replaced the parts and tested the dryer. All works as designed. Call complete.

Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I verified the issue with ice production and water dispensing was due to a faulty filter head and I removed and replaced the filter head assembly. I tested and the issues were resolved. The dispenser had a very aggressive spray and I found and removed hard water deposits from the tube and the flow resumed normal flow rate and pressure. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer with no power. Upon further inspection, I attempted to test the unit and it failed and the interior light is not coming on. I tested voltage at the outlet and got no voltage. I found the left side on the outlet was bad. I checked the breaker and it was on. Cycled power and retested voltage at the outlet and got same results. I recommended that the customer inspect the breaker and outlet and once it repaired and the unit continues to fail, contact our office and schedule service. No lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the right rear burner switch and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Once I had the unit back into place, I tested all burners and unit continued to operate as designed. Secured/sealed the vent tube with foil tape. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with a cup of water and my magnetron tester. During testing, I found the magnetron would only function 1 time and at the end of testing, the water was warm but not hot. I pulled the unit out from the cabinet and removed the top panel to gain access to the components. I tested the magnetron and found it out of range. Since the magnetron, capacitor and diode are covered by AEX 1yr warranty, I removed and replaced the mentioned parts and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I placed the unit back in the cabinets and retested and it continues to operate as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived onsite for oven not heating up to select temperature. Tested the sensor it was 1K, tested bake element in it was 19 ohms the broil element was 22 ohms. CX said it all started after a bad storm. Installed new control board and tested unit at 350?. It topped out at 393? and cooled down to 333? before going backup to 380. Unit operating as designed."
