"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher element bushings. Upon further inspection, I found the bushings to be copper colored and were in the beginning stages of deteriorating. Per service pointer #W11540964, I removed and replaced the element and tested. Unit is operating as designed with no leaks. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I evacuated the system and removed and replaced the compressor, dye drier and service port. During initial testing, I found the system appeared to be restricted and I removed section by section of the high side and flushed with nitrogen. I was not able to determine the exact location of the restriction, but after clearing the lines, the issue was resolved. I vacuumed the system and then let it set for an additional 15 min. Loosing no vacuum, I charged with the MFG prescribed 56 grams of refrigerant and tested. The unit cooled as designed. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a cooktop that is not heating properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advises the issue was with her cooktop and that after the previous repair, it really has not made a difference on her unit. She advised that the issue was with all four burners not heating the way that they used to. I ran testing on all four burners using a medium heat to determine whether the elements would come on and cycle. Did confirm proper operation of all four burners. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Chris SR# 7735084889. He advised that if the unit is turning on and cycling on and off for the burners, the unit would be working as designed and that no replacement of parts would guarantee any change to the unit. He advised to make no further repairs and that the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washer that is not operating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to go off balance on most loads and he believes theres something wrong with the washer. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E5 (off balance load) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer advised that and only seems to happen when clothes are in it. He grabbed a laundry basket worth of clothes and we ran the unit in a quick wash until the clothes got soaked. We did find the unit go off balance initially but that was due to uneven loading. However, once all clothes were soaked, I then put the unit into a drain and spin and found the unit spinning and operating as designed. He advised that the issue normally happens with towels and grabbed some extra large towels. We did the same process as the previous wash cycle and found the towel spinning an operating as designed. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Robert SR# 7735084239. He advised that based on all my testing, the only issue would be with loading and to instruct the customer on proper procedure. He advised of the unit was the problem, it would replicate the issue with or without clothes. E said to make no repairs at this time. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for Maytag washing machine shaking. I inspected the unit and work area. I found no fault codes in diagnostics. I gained access to the gear case and tested the motor winding I found both winding at 6 ohms, I tested the capacitor and found it at 45 farads, I tested the drain pump and found it at 16 ohms, I tested the actuator motor and found it at 2.4 kohms, all is in range. I gained access to the control and retested all the components from the control, everything still showed in range. I tested the suspension and found it rising equally after being push straight down. I spun the inner basket by hand and found it rotating evenly in the center of the out tub. I tested the level of the unit and found it level. I ran a high speed spin and found the inner basket stabilizing. The unit is working as designed. Job complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer that is taking more than one cycle to dry clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit does heat and tumble but they are still having issues with their dryer drying the clothes. They advised they got a vent test kit from whirlpool but were unaware of how to operate it. Ran a vent test kit on the unit and found poor airflow circulation for all dryers. Removed the vent hose off the dryer and tested it again and found good airflow for all dryers. Checked the hose for any obstructions and did not find any buildup inside of the hose or at the back of the wall. Reattached the vent hose and the vent test kit read the airflow circulation was poor for all dryers again. Advise the customer that they will need to get a vent cleaning company out to clean out their ducks as they have an airflow restriction inside of the vent in their wall. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Looked on the bottom of the door and found it was never screwed on from factory. Added screws from customers extra hardware. Verified unit is working properly. I found the lift motor assembly had failed and removed and replaced it, along with the fan switch, which had failed and required replacement. During the repair I found the cooktop was not secured and it had slid back, binding the upper section and causing the damage to the motor assembly. After correcting the position of the cooktop the binding was resolved. I advised the customer of the issue and further notation will be added to the cooktop service order. Operational test good."

I tested temps in the FC= -2 degrees. I inspected the ice bin and found ice clumped and frozen at the bottom and in the dispenser. Removed he ice bin and cleaned it out. Removed the ice chute plate and cleaned the ice from it. Also found frost/ice built up on the ice maker housing and cleaned it off. Tested the ice door and found it not sealing properly and had water around the seal. I removed and replaced the ice door assembly and tested and it is operating/sealing as designed. I recommended that the customer remove the ice bin at least 1 time per week and clean it with hot water and allow it to air dry before placing it back in its space in the door. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave door not closing. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit door closes fine, but when they use it, the unit makes a loud moaning noise. Using a cup of water and my microwave tester, I tested the unit for one minute and could not duplicate the noise. Customer advised when they hear the noise, they press on the door and the noise stops. I tested the unit several times with my tester and a cup of water and could not duplicate the noise. I tightened the mounting screws in the cabinet above thinking maybe the unit was vibrating due to the screws not being tightened/secured and retested and still could not duplicate the noise. I recommended the customer take a video of the noise should it happen again and call the unit in for service. No repairs needed at this time as unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is not responding to touch. Upon inspection I found that the power cord was wired properly and there was good voltage too. I also found good voltage in and out of the control. To the panel but yet it would not respond. I replaced the panel and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete

"WED5000DW2 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the motor sluggish to start and I removed and replaced per prior tech and technical assistance recommendations. The replacement motor had the same issue and I retested the unit and electrical supply. During motor startup, there was a very large voltage drop on the L1 line. Unloaded voltage was 122.4 and the low point reached during motor startup was 62.9. The voltage only came back up to 113.2 until the motor was deactivated and then it went back to the 122 VAC. Monitoring L2, it was initially at 122.5, but when the motor was activated, it jumped to 132.7, which should not have occurred as the heat was off and there is no other internal connection to L2. As a furtherance to testing, I swapped L1 and L2 and obtained similar results. I corrected back to the normal L1 and L2 arrangement and disconnected L2 and monitored L1. There was a 1.1 volt increase during startup to 64VAC and the running voltage was also 113VAC with L2 completely disconnected. Under normal expected conditions, less than 10VAC drop is usually noted during startup and 1VAC or less is the difference from an unloaded circuit with the motor running. L1 to L2 at rest was 245.1, motor only was 244.5 and the addition of heat was 237.7, which is too much drop on a 240 line. The CX will need to contact a qualified electrician to correct the electrical supply issue and it is likely that no other repairs will be needed."

Did confirm the customers complaint and check voltage to the unit found 120 V from line 1 to neutral, 120 V from line 2 to neutral, and 1 V from line 1 to line 2 indicating an electrical supply issue. Check voltage at the plug and did confirm the same results. I advise the customer that they have lost one leg voltage and are not receiving the proper voltage to power the machine. The customer will need to contact an electrician for further assistance. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop knob being melted. Upon further inspection, I found the far right knob (front right burner knob) outer cover melted. Due to the front right burner being one of the higher temp burners, I advised the customer that they cannot place large pots and pans on the burner as the flame will spread and cause the knobs to melt. Also, customer advised that the burners dont get hot enough. I advised the customer that due to the design, the grates sit higher off the burners than most cooktops which may appear that the unit is not getting hot enough. Tested all burners and all are operating as designed with appropriate flames. I recommended that the customer contact the manufacturer to discuss replacing the knob. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. Unable to get customers signature due to ticket not downloading before technician left the home."

Arrived on site for a dryer that will pop open intermittently throughout the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it doesnt always happen but she will come through her dryer and find that the unit is paused only to find the door open in the middle of the cycle. She did advise that it is not an issue with Her kids or herself. Did verify the issue and found the catch worn but the screws on the hinges not fully seated and screwed in. Fixed the screws and replaced the catch and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a ice machine that is not Functioning properly. Up onsite I found that the Pump Harness was corroded along with the connectors on the pump assembly side. "Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. CX complaint not dispensing ice and water. Found that CX has not used ice in the last 6 month or so and ice was badly clumpy. Removed bucket that was stuck and cleaned it it for the CX. Tested the icemaker and found the UI child locked so it would not dispense water. Unlocked it and its now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service.

"Arrived on site for dryer making a loud screeching noise. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found cause of failure was idler bearing coming off of bearing wheel as well as back right roller failing. I made the repair, and found screeching noise gone from unit. Dryer functioning as designed. Call complete ; ordrng 1 Cnote (Used one roller and returned the others in parts box)"

Arrived onsite for a dryer to install the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the heater assembly and installed a bearing kit. I tested the dryer and found it working as designed. Upon disassembly of the control panel the pressure switch broke. Ordering the pressure switch. ordrng 1 134996900 (Pressure switch)

"Arrived onsite for a cooktop with the burner valves not turning. The CV stated the left, left center, and center burner knobs would not work. I found the left center and center burner valves both locked up and they will require replacing. The left burner valve turns but the burner doesnt lite correctly because the orifice is dirty. The two burner valves need to be replaced and all the orifices cleaned. ; ordrng 1 WB19T10093 (Valve)"

"Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and found customer is having poor wash experience. Ran cycle and did not see any saved error codes. Found no high drain loop installed And corrected the drain hose by adding one, dishwasher completed cycle properly. Recommended running hot water at kitchen sink Before starting cycle And discussed detergent usage. Job complete"

"Arrived onsite for Making a lot noise when it washes, banging noise , shaking too much NOISE . Upon arrival inspected suspension and is shot. Ran and there were no saved error codes. Need to replace suspension . Replaced suspension and test unit. Unit is not shaking as much but basket wobbles. Inspected gearcase and found all lower components covered in gearcase oil. Need to replace gearcase, motor, cam, belt , shifter, agitator and shield. Ordering all needed parts. Arrived onsite for Noise During Spin . Upon arrival unit is in apartment 1207. Ran and there are no saved error codes. Ran unit on manual test to test high speed spin per service pointer. Unit is squeaking during spin test. Found cam pulley completely worn. Replaced cam W10721967 and test unit. Unit now only speaks briefly at beginning of spin test. Inspected belt and seems a little loose. Need to replace belt. Ordering belt. ordrng 1 W11239857 (Belt)

Arrived onsite for a wall oven that beeps like its trying to warm up but never does and gives an err message. I found out from the CX that it was the upper oven causing the issue. I tested the oven and found it working as designed. It reached set point and started cycling. I powered the unit off with the knobs and started a bake cycle again. When adjusting the temp control the unit started beeping and temps started bouncing around on the display. I also found the convection fan motor locked up. The temp control potentiometer and the fan motor will need to be replaced. I also explained to the customer the temp control would have to be replaced but there is a possibility the main control could have an issue

Arrived on site to replace tub and doors and spray arms. Replaced all parts and found upper rack tubing broken too. Will need to order new tubing office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 WPW10340542 (Manifold)

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not making ice and taking 2 days to freeze water. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found previous issues Whirlpool tech line recommended replacing the control. However unit is having intermittent defrost issues. Found Frost buildup on evaporator cover. Per known issue will need to order and replace the UI And evaporator thermistor as well. Will need to order UI and thermistor. Customer to have unit manually defrosted 48 hrs prior to next appointment.
