Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that sometimes the ice gets stuck in the ice chute when they dispense cubed ice. Check the ice container and found all the cubes were proper sizes and there was no clumping going on in the ice container. Tested the unit five times and was able to dispense cubed ice as designed. I did not find any obstructions inside the ice shoot or the ice container causing the issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7735137927. He advised that the issue would most likely be due to ice clumping in the ice container and that the reason why we cannot replicate it right now is because the ice is not clumped. Checked all door gaskets and found all door gasket sealing properly. He advised that this is a Yusen care issue and the consumer will need to dump the ice bin out once every week to two weeks and to make note for the repair. Call complete.

Upon arrival I performed a temp test and found Rc at 28* set to 37*fc at 4* and falling . I tested the rc thermistor and found that is was good I then tested the rc Evap thermistor and found it good. Arrived onsite for ar Andover that is having Intermittent sparking issues. Upon arrival I tested the unit and found that the unit lit and it had good flames. "Arrived onsite for a dryer that will dry one load and then when the cx puts another load in the unit would flash its drum light and it would not power on till it sits for a while. Upon inspection i checked for power at the wall and found good voltage, I then checked the terminal block and found that the was a loose connection there I corrected this and tested the unit ad found the unit operating as designed. I the tested the unit for airflow and found that it had poor airflow then contacted to the vent hose and good airflow when disconnected. I advised the cx to have the event checked to clear any developing clogs in the vent. Unit otherwise is operating as designed. Job complete"

Arrived onsite for a wall oven that trips the breaker when bake is turned on and broil was staying on prior to the last visit. I found the broil element burned off on one side and the element grounded to the chassis. I replaced the broil element and tested. "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice. Upon further inspection, I found the bin empty and unit turned off. Turned the unit on and placed it in diagnostics. I found the cleaning light illuminated. Tested all the components and found the valve slowly dispensing water, the reservoir drain pump has failed, the evaporator is dirty and at the end of the test, I found the on/off light blinking showing the bin thermistor is out of range. I tested the thermistor and did find it out of range. I tested the cutter and found it getting 10.6VAC and 4.8ohms well within range. I tested the unit in a normal mode and found the unit is making a good slab of ice on the evaporator but due to the evaporator needing to be cleaned, the slab would not drop too the cutter. I am ordering the reservoir drain pump, bin thermistor and cleaning solution and will return with all prescreened parts. Scheduled return service for 12/07/22 at which time, the reservoir drain pump, bin thermistor and valve will need to be replaced. Recommended that the customer wait to clean the unit until after repairs have been made due to the reservoir drain pump failing. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I removed the bottom front panel and found the metal plate in the center of the element was badly warped. I disassembled the unit and found the unit with a large amount of lint inside (before photo). Removed the element and found the coil broken. Also found all four rollers and the tension pulley with a large amount of oil debris built up on the axles and the drive belt worn. I removed the lint and vacuumed the remainder of the unit. Removed and replaced the rollers (4), tension pulley, belt and element and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, I pressed the cancel button and engaged the drain pump and could hear the pump come on, but no water was being extracted from the unit. I removed the water using my shop vac. I removed the drain pump and tested it and it is operating as designed. When I inspected the drain hose, I found the proper hose connected to the unit, but it was modified going through the cabinets and to the disposal. I advised the customer that the actual drain hose that comes with the unit is good and clear, but there is possibly clogging in the modified drain hose. I recommended that the customer have a plumber inspect the modified hose and drain that the hose connects to under the sink. Arrived onsite to assess leaking fridge. Upon arrival powered unit. Was checking ice maker for potential leaks but noticed that compressor kept kicking off on overload. Inspected unit and found fridge is having compressor failure. We cannot move forward with a good repair. Job complete

Arrived on site to test unit for right front burner staying on high. Test unit and found and switch. Replaced switch. Test unit and found unit working as designed job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for oven not getting to temp on bake but working on convection bake. Test unit and found bad console and board.

Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Test unit and found opened thermal fuse not allowing power to control boards. Replaced thermal fuse . Test unit and unit pre heated to 350? job complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on dishwasher that was dead shortly after control replacement. Tested unit and found diagnostic light is on, but UI is unresponsive. Per directions from SW, power cycled unit several times after verifying the CSM was not tripped. After 6 power cycles the unit powered on, which per directions requests to update software with Module WD98R5957301 from GE. The unit is working at this time. Customer advised we do not have this module and it's on back order from GE until January at this time. Customer will follow up mid Jan to see if we have module to update. Customer requested I replace the bezel on the UI with their part, which they are aware has several broken tabs. I was able to get the bezel on successfully, but advised there's no warranty since clips are broken. Call complete, customer will follow up in Jan for status on update module. I also advised to get in touch with GE if we can not get the module easily. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for MW caught on fire. The door is melted, the turntable is melted. The inside of the MW is scorched and melted (see pics)SR 7735112358. Safety team is going to replace the MW. Informed the customer to contact WP CUSTOMER SERVICE. FOR REPLACEMENT."

Arrived onsite to diagnose a dryer that had power but would not start. Tested door switch and found light corresponding to switch and belt tension on drum. Tested power at the outlet and found only one leg. Reset breaker which had not tripped. Power restored to both legs. Unit is now operating as designed. Explained findings to customer and that ongoing or repeat symptoms would require the electrical supply to be repaired. All else checks good.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator making noises, inspected unit and work area. customer showed video of unit making noises and I could not pin point where it was coming from. I took temps and RC 30? FC 07. Found ice build up on cap tube in the fc evap. Will need UI, CONTROL, HARNESS.

Arrived onsite to replace faulty compressor. Replaced compressor dryer and access valve. Pulled vacuum and held. Charged unit per spec and ran unit. Found unit also needed inverter. Ran unit and compressor is running properly. Check for frost pattern and was good. Recommended customer monitor temperature for 24 hrs before loading. Job complete

"Arrived on site. Replaced power supply control powered unit on all lights powered on,compressor and fans powered on.

"Arrived to inspect heating issue. The customer would have to start the bake process after every initial heating cycle, as the unit would not relight. I tested the temperature sensor and found it within range. I then tested the bake hot surface igniter and found it at 163 at room temperature. The broil was 94 and the replacement bake igniter was 80. I removed and replaced the bake igniter and tested. The air shutter was set all the way open and there was excessive unburnt fuel and noise and I corrected. I believe this was a contributing factor to the early failure of the igniter. The unit heated to the set temp and then cycled off. Subsequent ignition pulses operated as designed. No gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that is not drying properly. Tested all parts and components and found no failures to unit at this time. Advised customer on findings and best cycles and options for best performance. No further repairs needed and no leaks were found at time of service.
