Arrived on site for range over heating in oven and showing f6E1 in diagnostics. Upon arrival confirmed issue and error code. Upon further testing I found oven sensor ohm8ng at 1.23kohms and broil relay would randomly get stuck and leave broil element on during use. "Arrived on site for a microwave that is vibrating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is constantly buzzing every single time they cook. Tested the unit several times boiling water in a cup and after a while finally heard the noise but found the noise coming from the vibration between the right side cabinet and the microwave itself. The sheet metal off of the microwave cover was vibrating off of the right side cabinet. When holding the sheet metal back away from the cabinet, found the noise stop completely. Found that the microwave was installed directly against the cabinet but still had a space on the left-hand side for the other side of the cabinet. I did advise the customer that the issue is with the installation because they dont have a gap between the cabinet and the microwave and that all other noises and functions are working properly. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not making ice. Upon further inspection, I found several scratches and dents on the RC doors and FC door and the right RC door cant open up very far due to the unit being up against the wall on the right side (photos). Customer advised the unit was the floor model at the box store. Using my jumper wire, I tested the ice maker from points T-H and it failed. I disassembled the FC section and removed and replaced the ice maker and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I recommended the customer get an extended warranty on the unit due to it being a display model. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Clean the water up and ran unit in diagnostics mode. The drain pump is working but it is making a grinding noise. Took the drain pump off and called for the unit to drain and the pump was cutting off and on continuously. It stopped working for about 10 seconds and came back on. Upon inspection of the harness I found that it was broken in multiple spots I attempted to repair it but the was not enough wire left over to make a proper splice. "WRV986FDEM01 Arrived to inspect interior light issue. The customer advised me the light issue actually occurs when the unit has lost power and continuously clicks. Cycling the power to the unit immediately remedies the issue and it occurs two to three times per month. I performed a full inspection of the unit and found none of the usual indicators of interior moisture within the unit, as is usually found when the reported problems occur. The three way valve solenoid has already been replaced, but the usual click associated with that issue, is different than the customer described sound, approximately a click every 3/4 of a second and is continuous until power interrupt. Thee were no signs of moisture within the cabinet at any accessible points and frosting was not an issue with either evaporator. I suspect one of the evaporator connectors may be getting wet, or an issue with the control section of the unit and the customer believes the issue has gotten significantly worse since recent power outages. Thermography of the power supply showed a slightly elevated DC regulator temperature as well. The drain pan has bowing and Technical Service Pointer #: W11092686 Rev. G applies. The right crispers right slide does not retract well either. No leaks observed during service. When I went through the harvest, I found that the motor would not turn. "Arrived on site to inspect venthood fan not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that while the fan is on it will turn off on its own and doesnt matter what speed its in. I turned the fan on and it came on without issue. I removed the harness cover and moved some wires and found the fan cutting out. I found the fan molex connector was damaged and was not making good connection. When I went to replace the fan assembly, I found the new part was damaged (blades broken) (photo). I was able to replace the fan and harness, but will need to order another assembly to replace the blades that are cracked. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is leaking and at times it wouldnt dispense ice . Upon inspection I found that the unit was leaking from within the chassis. The units insulation was saturated with water in the area around the drain tube. The unit had difficulty starting the compressor and I monitored current. 12 amps declining to 10 before start device shutdown occurred and I removed and replaced the start device. "Arrived on site to diagnose range that had tripped breaker. Talked with customer who said unit tripped during preheat 1 time, and has not repeated since. Examined unit and tested 2 preheat cycles for bake and broil, no issues found. Advised the range is on a GFCI breaker, which is known to be problematic with new appliances. Removed all of my loads off of the control trying to determine what part of the machine was causing the issue and found that no loads removed would get the unit to start any kind of cycle or drain. Replaced the user interface and tested the unit. I still have the same issue with the new user interface. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7735795276. He had me check voltage. Found voltage drop to 50 V at the control as soon as power was restored. He advised that the issue was with a floating neutral and that this was completely an electrical supply issue.

Customer advised they replaced he filter and purged the system and then went to get some water and it wouldnt dispense. By disconnecting the inlet water line from the filter head I tested the valve at the back of the unit and found it dispensing water. I removed and replaced the filter head and dual valve and retested and unit is operating as designed. I recommended the customer their filters directly from the manufacturer or one the local box stores that get their supply from the manufacturer and not from the internet. "Arrived onsite for a no heat dryer. I found the thermal cutoff open causing the no heat. I found everything else working as designed. I installed the thermal cutoff kit, vacuumed the lint, and tested the dryer. I found the dryer cycling between 125-170 degrees on the high setting and working as designed. I tested the dryer vent and found it partially restricted which caused the issue. I advised the customer to not use the dryer until the vents have been cleaned. Call complete.

"Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and found overfill tray is full of water. After clearing Found incoming water valve connection is leaking, Tightened water connection and started a wash cycle and it is no longer leaking. Sent video to KB/service management.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice or dispensing water. I found no water getting past the filter housing. The customer had a new filter and housing. I changed the filter and the unit dispensed about a gallon of water and slowly stopped dispensing water.I replaced the housing and the unit started working as designed. I explained to the customer to monitor the icemaker to see if it will harvest. Call complete. /

"Arrived to inspect no spin. The unit had F7E1 stored and the basket was difficult to rotate and made a grinding noise when turned by hand. Initial assessment was failed bearings, but inspection of the gear case area revealed the cam assy had failed. I removed and replaced the cam and re-calibrated the control. The unit operated as designed in manual and automatic modes. Drain safety strap attached. No leaks observed during service.

"253.9266411 Arrived to over-temp alarm. I tested the temperature and it was -5?F. I found the compressor would immediately start up after interruption of power, and should have tripped the start device. The compressor drew .94 amps, but throughout the entire service call and near the low shutoff temperature, it ran continuously. The customer reported the compressor runs nearly constantly as well. The compressor has lost a significant amount of ability to move refrigerant and the only repair would be to replace the compressor and the customer did not want to invest in this unit due to age.

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not cycling properly. Found bad tub bearing in unit along with counter balance issues.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that is taking too long to dry. Tested unit and found clogged external venting preventing proper airflow through unit. Advised customer on findings and venting issue will need to be resolved prior to using unit.

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop burners not igniting. Upon further inspection l I tested the burners and found none of the ignitors would arc. I pulled the unit out and tested the spark module and found it getting voltage but not providing voltage to the ignitors. I removed and replaced the spark module and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer damage and shaking during use. Upon further inspection, I found the top panel badly dented at the front of the panel and several scratches in the middle of the top panel (photos). The customer had some clothing inside the unit and I tested the unit with the clothing inside. I found the unit vibrating, but was normal considering the clothing moving around inside the drum and the u;it is operating as designed. I referred the customer to the manufacturer customer service for assistance in getting the top panel replaced.No lint observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed drain pump. Completed repair and tested. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good.

Arrived onsite for clothes not coming clean and found failed actuator stuck in spin. Replaced actuator to repair. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is not draining. Upon arrival I put unit into diag mode and tested the drain pump and found that the pump was not operating properly. Upon further inspection I found no clogs in the hoses. I replace the pump and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed no leaks. Job complete

Arrived on site for dishwasher not finishing cycle. Ran unit in diagnostics mode and found no issues. Called in talked to Susie and she said that the diagnostics did test the heating circuit. Gain access to the control board and found a burnt mark next to P9 which is one side of the heating element. The heating element ohmed out at 15 ohms specs 10 to 30 ohms. It was good. Replaced the control board and tested unit. Informed customer that the main harness is brittle and may need to be change out going forward. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with broken ice maker. Upon further e, I found the ice maker arm hanging down and had come disconnected from the ice maker. I reattached the arm and tested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for occasional f8e0 error code and advised that the fan speed error usually indicated a failing speed sensor. And the issue is degenerative.. Completed repair and tested, unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found customer had replaced disposal and the knockout plug was still intact. Removed plug and tested. Unit is functioning properly.
