Checked continuity through both wires up to the control and found that the black and white wire was open. Found part of the wire had been pinched that one spot and had completely separated. The customer advised that they are having to run cycles several times depending on which loads theyre running at the time. They did advise the unit does heat, but the results are mixed when it comes to having the clothes be dry whenever that the cycle is completed. Ran the unit through diagnostics and confirmed the moisture sensor bar was working as designed. Found the unit, tumbling and heating. Did explain to the customer that the moisture sensor bar can sometimes countdown the dryer and finish prematurely, especially with mixed loads, light loads, or heavy loads. "Arrived on site to inspect washer odors. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with no out of the ordinary odors. I pulled the unit out and inspected under the drum and found dry water markings from what appeared to be a leak. I inspected the bellow and found no tears. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and once the drum filled and it began to agitate, I found a small leak at the front bottom area of the bellow. I drained the unit and removed the bellow ring and found a small tear/hole in the bellow at the bottom drain area (photo). I advised the customer of my findings and am ordering the bellow. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I was to replace the sealed system componentscompressor, drier, access valve. However, upon arrival, I found the unit cooling and the ice bin completely full. I checked temps in the FC=6 degrees and RC=37 (setting at 35). Customer advised there was ice on the right side of the evaporator at previous service call. I contacted in house tech support and was advised previous tech found ice on the right side of evap. When I inspected the FC evaporator, I found ice at the right upper corner on the coils; ice on the left upper corner on the coils and could see where ice had been across the top of the evaporator as if there was an air leak (photos). The evaporator had a good frost pattern as well. Also found the customer had a large amount of food items in the freezer section that could potentially cause the door to not close and seal completely. I found debris on the condenser coils at the front bottom of the unit (photos) that could have a huge effect on cooling. I advised the customer of my findings and recommended that the sealed system repair not be made based off my findings. When reassembling the unit, I found rust on the freezer door in several different areas (photos). I am ordering the FC door, nameplate and the right bracket assembly. I advised the customer the door would take 6-8 weeks to arrive and once it arrives, the office will contact them to schedule return service. I placed the right pan stop on top of the unit on the right side for use when I return. Returning tech to replace drain pump, control, and pressure switch. If latch does not actuate properly it also needs to be replaced. "MVW7232HC0 Arrived to inspect lid not locking. I entered service test mode and found F7E4 as the only stored error code. Inspecting the gearcase area, I found the slider had separated and was the cause for the error code and subsequent failure to lock, an indication of drive system failure within customer mode. Further inspection revealed the gearcase lower seal had failed and there were subtle signs of oil loss, including a slight amount on the rotor and all around the inside of the cabinet. The failed slider and subsequent engagement failure had also damaged the rotor teeth and replacement is required. The wash plate was severely stuck, but utilizing the washplate puller tool, I was able to remove it. I applied Amblygon as a temporary anti-seize to prevent the installing tech from having to extract the washplate. I am adding a replacement washplate, just in case, but it may not be required. "WRS588FIHB04 Arrived to inspect ice dispenser not working. I found the ice dispenser drivetrain had failed and parts have been ordered. The customer advised me they were experiencing freezing of food within the lo part of the RC and I tested temperatures. The FC was 4?F and the lower RC was 29?, with the upper at 38?. Thermistors tested within MFG tolerances. Inspection revealed the air duct in the FC was incorrectly installed and permanently warped. I temporarily sealed with perms-gum and the returning tech will need to remove and discard the perma-gum upon replacement of the cover and ice parts. The chassis was out of square and the right door was leaning to the left with over 1/4 difference, top to bottom and I re-aligned. No leaks observed during service. Tried using 2x4 but unit will drop and one man cannot lift back into position. Notified customer that a second tech will be needed. Returning with TOD and elements. Attempted to run the unit into a diagnostic cycle and found that the unit was kicking me out several times. Finally got the unit to start a cycle and found the unit working and operating as designed. Went to check a normal cycle and found the unit showing the lid was open. Found that the lid was not actually fully closed due to an issue with the hinge, causing the lid not to fully close and caused the machine not to recognize the lid closed when it was unlocking. "Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was not agitating. Examined unit and found actuator was broken again, arm was not moving. Did not find any other issues wuth unit. Called tech line and spoke with Chris. Tech line / engineering have no notes / reports of this issue happening, not multiple times either. Had no additional repair recommendations, tech line advised it may be overloaded / off balance causing damage to the actuator. Advised to contact whirlpool for further assistance as no other repairs recommended and actuator has been replaced 3 times. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes and the door is difficult to open/close. Upon further inspection, I found the customer not using rinse aid (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics and found error code F10E2-vent electrical problem. Cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed except the vent failed to come on. I tested amp draw to the unit and found the element showing 7-9amps during cycle. I tested the door and found the trim on the cabinets not cut properly and was rubbing on the door on both sides at the top control panel. Also found the customer has an RO system and the RO drain tube is connected to the dishwasher drain tube at the disposal. I advised the customer that if the RO system drains and causes backfill into the dishwasher, it could potentially flood the dishwasher and their home and the manufacturer would not be responsible for any damage. I advised the customer that I am ordering the vent and main control and they would need to contact their builder to adjust the cabinets trim so the door closes properly and they would need to contact the person responsible for installing g the RO system and have them relocate the RO drain tube to the lower P trap. I am ordering the vent , gasket and main control and scheduled return service No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W11649995 (Vent) and 1 W11545539 (Vent gasket)"

Arrived on site to test unit for no ice production. Found valve was restricted preventing water from filling. Replaced valve with no change in performance. Isolated from water line exiting valve to reservoir fill tube. Recommend replacing filter head. Customer stated before this issue water was filling but wasnt making ice. Once filter head replaced recommend further diagnostics as components individually engaging in diagnostics. . Customer recommending AH only and needing 2hrs on return visit. "Arrived on site for a range that wont turn on the left hand oven and is not cycling properly in the right side oven. Ran the right side oven up to a 350?F. Bake cycle and found the unit fluctuating between 327?F and 379?F. The customer cooked I said biscuits during the test and the biscuits came out perfectly. Found the left hand oven knob not turning properly and the interior metal clip broken causing the issue with the left hand oven not turning on. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7736003115. He advised that with the temperature readings I was getting, the unit was fluctuating properly and working as designed. He advised to go ahead and replace the knob, but did advise the customer that the unit cannot be calibrated on this model. He advised that if she believes that she is getting hotter than normal temperatures, that she would need to adjust down the temperature slightly to achieve, the temperature shes looking for. Ordering the mode knob and the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability.; ordrng 1 W11596839 (Mode knob)"

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher leaking. Before replacing tub ran test with unit pulled from install position. Found leaking from upper left side of inner door panel and trickling down the left side. The tub does not seem to be the source of the leak. While closing the door found the door not closing properly. While the wash motor is running, water is splashing between the door seal and inner door panel. Returning with boot seal , inner and outer panel. Also ordering hinges. "Arrived on site to test unit for leak and not cooling. Found previous company used soft hose to repair bad water tube. Soft hose was unable to seal properly in compression fitting to valve causing leak. Also found drain tube is block and evap frosted over. Advised to unplug unit for at least 24hrs prior to return visit to allow evap to defrost. Needing to replace dispenser water tube, drain tube and apply permagum around water lines entering cabinet. "Arrived on site and replaced control board diagnosed by previous technician. After replacement dishwasher will still not run in normal cycle and in diagnostic cycle it fills up with water and then drains immediately. It now has saved error codes 7/2, 8/4. Disconnected vent fan and replaced float switch and it made no difference. Found only continuity on one wire from float switch to control harness. Will need a new wiring harness to correct issue.; ordrng 1 W11391581 (Harness)"

"Arrived on site to follow up on dryer that is not heating. Ran unit and found unit is not heating, but had good ventilation. Found safety thermostat open again. Per service guide, recommendation for repair is to replace the full heating element assembly due to likely shorting / sagging coil. Customer approved. Replaced heater and ran. Verified unit is cycling properly and not overheating. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site to replace dispenser switch to resolve broken switch, causing constant flow of water. Removed trim and replaced dispenser switch, and also water filter. Tested unit and verified all components functioning as designed. Repair completed."

Arrived on site to install new icebox fan to resolve unit not making any ice. Replaced icebox fan and tested unit. Verified icemaker is cycling and filled as designed. Unit should produce ice. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. After further inspection I found that unit would not need the gasket due to the gaps and leaks being from the drain tube being clogged. I cleaned out the drain tube and removed all ice. Unit is now draining properly and used my heat gun to reshape the door gasket. no leaks where observed during service. Job completed."

Arrived onsite and found unit frosted up evap causing failure to cool fc. Entered diagnostics and tested heater. Heater is operating as designed in diagnostics. Reset control and defrosted evap to repair. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator ice maker low production. Upon arrival inspected unit. On arrival customer stated secondary issue. Initially the unit was slow to make ice. Then the supply line was recently compromised and water needed to be shut off. Inspected area and found multiple machines being fed by single supply and filter. Inspected ice maker and was making ice. Found tray not being filled adequately. Notified customer that it is ideal that the unit have its own designated supply. Low pressure will result in inadequate supply and resulting in slow ice production Job complete

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is making unusual noise. Found cam worn out and replaced cam. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived onsite for cooktop burner not igniting. On inspection found the secondary orifice was clogged and not allowing the burner to ignite. Pulled and cleaned the orifice and retested the burner. The burner is operating as designed and no gas leak detected during service.
