"WRV986FDEM01 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the prior service damaged FC light switch and verified operation. Testing the unit, I found no faults within any sensors, fans, harness and control parts, nor any other computational systems. The FC defrost circuit had the expected continuity and resistance measurement and manual defrost voltage testing was operational. The feet were not set, but may have been prior and I squared and leveled the chassis, requiring over 1/2 of front-end lift. The doors were incorrectly aligned and I corrected all RC door alignment. Finding no other faults, I suspect the issue was with an item(s) that may have blocked complete FC door closing, as the ice development within the FC evaporator is atypical of other issues found with this type of chassis. I coached the customer on frontal FC item placement.

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop display indicators not turning. Off while unit is off. Upon further inspection, I found the display showing the hot surface/cooktop on indicators lit up but the unit is off. I pulled the unit out and removed he back cover to expose the cooktop switches and found the front right burner switch with a burnout mark. I unplugged the switch and the display indicators turned off. I removed and replaced the switch and retested and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range ignitors clicking all the time. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged and plugged it back in. Tested all the cooktops burners and the oven and unit is operating as designed. The customer advised that the cooktop burner ignitors were constantly arcing even when they werent using the unit. I tested several times and could not get the unit to duplicate the complaint. I removed and replaced the spark module and retested and unit continues to operate as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they have been finding a large amount of water coming from under the unit and around the sides. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. I removed the back panel and once the unit filled, I advanced to engage the drain pump and found no signs of a leak and there were no leaks within the valve hoses. I tested the unit several times with the customer present and never found a leak. When I went to put the unit back in its space, I found a small amount of water on the floor where the door was positioned over the puddle. I found the door is leaking at the bottom of the bellow. I found a small amount of debris on the bottom section the inner glass that was causing a break in the seal and water was leaking out. Customer cleaned the bellow and inner glass and I retested and unit is no longer leaking. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and if it leaks anymore to contact our office to schedule service, at which time, the bellow will need to be replaced.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not heating. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for codes and found F2E1. Also found the key tone was turned off. I cleared the code and tested the components and all are functioning properly. Once out of diagnostics, I went into the tools/options and reset the control and turned the key tones back on and tested the unit in Bake at 350 degrees. The unit reached temp and is operating as designed. I tested the bottom drawer and it too is operating as designed. I advised the customer that the unit had the error code indicating there was a stuck key on the control panel, but since resetting the control, the u;it is operating as designed.

Arrived on site to test unit for temp not being correct. Customer stated inspector found temps to be off 25 degrees. Heated both ovens to 350 and found temps were correct. Also found elements cycling as designed. Unit is working as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was not properly starting most cycles. Customer also got a flashing F6E2 error as well. Checked in diagnostic and confirmed presence of F6E2, which is UI cant hear control. Ui has already been replaced, leaving control as likely cause. Replaced control and verified I could start multiple cycles with no issues.

"Arrived on site for stuck on sensing. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got error codes F5-E1 lid switch, F2-E1 stuck key, F7-E1 basket speed fault, F0-E5 out of balance. "Arrived onsite for oven not heating. On inspection the upper oven is working and the lower one is not. Tested the temp sensor was 1k and the heating element was 16 ohms. Tested the glow igniter was OL, replaced the igniter and it is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during inspection.

"MDB8959SKZ0 Arrived to inspect no water entering and burning odor. Service test mode had F10E2 stored in memory. I found no issues with the element and it had the appearance of dry operation. I found debris within the drain and circulation pumps and removed. The control would not effectively operate within service test mode and I suspected the debris had locked motors, causing control overheat and failure, compounded by excessive heat soak from over detergenting, cause by pre-measured pods. After replacing the control, the unit resumed normal operations. No leaks observed during service.

"110.61202010 Arrived to inspect noise. I found the roller wheel in the left rear had failed and was freely spinning on the hub. There were signs of excessive back pressure as well. I R/R the dryer rebuild kit and removed all lint from within the chassis. The unit would heat, but due to extremely restricted flow, would short cycle. I advised the customer to have the venting cleaned out prior to any attempted use. Operational test with vent off, good.

"Arrive onsite for a vent hood that will not release the vent filters when attempting to remove them for cleaning. Upon inspection I found that the filters were extremely hard to remove I had to use a plastic pry tool to get them out and put them back in. Which is abnormal . I attempted the to adjust the rings that hold them in, but that did not help . I advised the cx to contact whirlpool speak to them about the vent hood as this could be a manufacturing defect. Cx to contact whirlpool .

"Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I was able to remove the wash plate but it cracked and I showed the customer and explained it would have to be replaced because of this. I replaced the gearcase, cam, belt, and wash plate. I lowered the leveling feet all the way down and then leveled the machine. I ran the DLMS calibration then the service cycle. The machine completed the cycle and worked as designed.

Arrived onsite for a washer not draining or spinning out and the door will not lock. I checked stored error codes and found an F9E1 & F5E1. I ran the quick test cycle and found the drain pump not turning on. I found correct voltage at the pump and the drain pump resistance was good but the electrical connector had broken and was not making good contact on the harness.

Arrived onsite for a washer that the ring has come loose and it will not work anymore. I found where the tube ring has gotten wedged under the rear sound pad causing the unit to be out of balanced. The tub ring was just scraped but wasnt cracked or broken. The shipping donuts were still on the leveling feet and the feet were tight against them and not screwed all the way out. I removed the shipping donuts and screwed the leveling legs all the way out and then leveled the machine. I found multiple F2E1 error codes stored but the console passed and all selections are working properly. The center digit on the left side display is out and not working. I ran the service cycle and the gearcase is extremely noisy. There is oil all under the machine. The gearcase and the slider need to be replaced.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has frosting up in the freezer section and has a drawer that is not sitting right. Inspected unit in work area. The customer advised that the freezer has not been freezing up since you initially called and that its only happened two times since she bought it back in 2020 but just wanted to have it looked at. Did confirm that the gaskets were properly sealed and no frost buildup inside of the freezer. Checked the freezer brackets and found the brackets working properly, allowing the door to open and close as designed. the customer explained that the issue with the drawer that shes having is the upper freezer drawer because the front plate keeps falling off every time she tries to pull it out. Did confirm the customers complaint and did not find any abnormality with the cover. Attempted to reposition the front cover, but could not get it to see it properly. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=36 degrees and RC=49 degrees. I disassembled the FC section and removed the evap cover to find a ball of ice at the top right corner on the cap tube. Pulled the unit out and checked amp draw to the compressor and got .46amps. With my gauges on the low and high sides my readings were 10psi on the low and 35-40psi on the high. I contacted techline and spoke to Scott and advised of the complaint, history and my findings today. Scott recommended isolating the system and using 140psi into the system to find a leak and use bubble solution to find such leak. He advised that the gauges should be fresh R600 system gauges. Provided SR#7736206501. I advised the customer of my conversation with tech support and the process we need to take to get the unit repaired. Customer requested that the unit be replaced and I recommended the customer contact the manufacturer customer service with the SR number Im providing today to discuss replacement as I cannot replace it at this time. Arrived onsite for a range with a broken outer glass. On arrival all the glass was broken out of the outer door and the customer had cleaned most of it up. I took a photo of the outer door showing no dents in the stainless. "Arrived onsite for a microwave to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I confirmed the HV transformer was defective because the secondary winding was open. I found the upper interlock actuator flipped back. I corrected the interlock and checked continuity on all the door switches while opening and closing the door. The switches tested good. I found the fuse good. I powered the unit up and found the cavity lamp staying on whether the door was opened or closed. I found when the door was closed the turntable was also running. I checked the harness at the turntable and found it good. I tested continuity from P1-3 to P1-4 and found the relay on the main control not stuck closed. I tested the door switches with live voltage and found them good. I found the left mounting bolt had gaulded to the wrapper nut. I called techline and spoke with Scott SR# 7736206806 and gave him my findings and he confirmed by my findings that there is either an issue with the control panel or the main control itself but recommended replacing both at the same time. Arrived onsite for MW door not closing. On inspection the MW did not have the installation kit installed that allows the unit door to move freely when pushed all the way into the cabinet. I pulled the unit out about 4 inches and the MW worked every time. Push the unit all the way in and it did not work with out holding the door closed. The bottom of the cabinet is causing a issue for the MW door when pushed all the way in. The builder came to inspect the issue and is going to get JB Hunt back out to install the installation kit.

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher with a leak. On inspection found the evidence of a water leak around the kitchen island the floor has water damage marks. Pulled the unit out and found mold on the sheet rock behinds the dishwasher. There was water all under the dishwasher, on further inspection found that the brass 90? elbow was not tighten up all the way. It looks like it was dripping and running down the hose to the back of the unit. I tested the over flow float and it was working. It through a error of F8E4 when I pushed the float up to simulate a flood."

"WFC150M0JB1 Arrived to inspect burner issue and knobs falling off. I discussed the new type of burner with the customer and advised the cycling off shortly after initially turning red, is normal for this type. The customer understood the issue and will attempt different cooking strategies. The knob issue was due to the knob friction clips not being installed on prior service. I reinstalled the switches and tested. Operational test good."

"ART308FFDM10 Arrived to inspect RC too cold. The customer advised me that since the last repair, there has been no change in items freezing and the issue has not resolved. I tested RC temperate and found it at 20?F in the lower section and 26? in the upper. FC was 5?. The chassis was still sitting in the black plastic shipping trays that come with the carton, but they were not contacting the door, nor able to prevent it from fully closing. Measuring the thermistor and also against a replacement, I found that it was only .01 ohms, equaling approximately 1/2 of a degree in difference and not the cause of the issue. Thermistor reference voltage from the control was 4.96VDC. Testing from the control showed an expected resistance with the thermistor reinstalled and I elected to install the replacement. I removed and replaced the control and tested. During final testing, I found excessive gapping of the FC chamber to outer panel at the door opening. The top left corner showed gapping of 1/4 inch and the rest was around 1/8th. I was able to inject MFG approved sealant around the top and sides, sealing all affected areas permanently. Operational test good, no water connections to unit."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is slow making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint but found the ice been completely full of ice. The customer advised that the unit seem to take several days in order for it to run through. Did explain to the customer that this is normal operation due to a low production icemaker. The customer also complained about the leveling of her refrigerator. Went ahead and leveled out her refrigerator. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for an oven. That is not heating properly. Inspected unit and work area. Found the element completely broken. Replaced the bake element and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer lid not locking. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested the unit. Unit operated as designed including the lid locking. I retested in diagnostics and again it operated as designed. I tested the unit in a normal wash cycle and the unit continued to operate as designed. I demonstrated for the customer and the unit operated as designed. Tested two more times and the unit continued to operate as designed. The customer advised that the unit failed to operate for her. I recommended the customer use the unit and made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use. Advised to call for service if the unit fails again. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not draining. Inspected unit in work area. Found the washer on the front porch. Move the washer to an area with an electrical supply and added water hoses to a splitter off the garden hose to test the unit. Did confirm that the customer could not drain the unit after filling the unit with water. Drain the water out of the unit manually and check the drain pump. Found a nail stuck in the drain pump assembly, causing the issue. Due to how long the unit continue to drain and potential issues with stripping the impeller, went ahead and replaced the drain pump. Tested the unit and the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer that is making sounds during operation. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and disassembled the unit. Found a screw and a nail stuck in the felt liner on the front panel causing the issue. Removed the obstructions and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install new ice container and dual valve to resolve large sized ice production causing auger to bind. Replaced both and testes. Verified proper function from unit. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with some lights out. Found the freezer module was out, others were dim. Replaced module and retested. Verified lights good. I also assisted the customer with getting her left pantry door back in track. Repair completed."

"Arrived onsite for cooktop not igniting. On inspection the front right takes a few clicks to ignite. The customer showed me that she accidentally bumped the knob and it turn the gas on without igniting the burner, she said it happen one time that the knob was turn on without igniting and if she had not come back into the house to grab something she forgot the gas would have filled the house up with gas. She is worried that it could happen again. Informed customer that she could call and talk to the wp customer care about the issue."

"Arrived onsite for washer leaking. Talking with the customer she said it was the front left corner where the leak was. Gain access to the dispenser and found water marks on the frame of the washer. There is a SP for issues on the dispenser, I installed a new dispenser and tested the unit. The unit is operating as designed and there was no water leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site for both sections temps higher than normal. Found evap covered in frost . Defrosted freezer and found brown wire on defrost heater harness had pulled out of connection . Reinstalled connections . Ran heater tests all checked normal. Now . No other issues found with unit . No water leaks detected at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site to install previously ordered part. Upon arrival removed unit from cabinet. Removed panels to inspect harness. Found harness connector from control to harness connector to lights is not connector. Secured the connection and test unit. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete

Arrived onsite and installed the previously ordered rc fan moisture kit. Unit fan is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. All checks good.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that shut itself off again. On arrival the customer stated it was working at this time but it had completely shut off for almost 24 hours this time before turning itself back on. I called techline and spoke with Chris SR# 7736191002 explaining that the unit had shut off for almost 36 hours the first time and explained what the customer said it did this time. I explained the customer did confirm that the unit had power at the outlet when this happened. I also told Chris the customer had concerns about how hot the side was getting at times and Chris stated the condenser lines are in the side wall of this unit and it can get very warm depending on how long the compressor had been running when you touch the side of the unit. Chris stated to go head and replace the main control and filter harness but didnt feel like the UI would cause a complete shut down. I replaced both parts and tested the machine. The unit is working as designed at this time. Call complete.

Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was stuck in drain loop. Replaced upper harness and control after confirming that's where the stoppage occurred. Tested and verified all working as designed. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose range that had a heat leak due to a bad seal. Examined the oven door seal and found the gasket had torn on the bottom, and left a 6 inch gap. Replaced oven door gasket and verified a proper seal. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher door not closing properly. Upon further inspection, I found that when the unit was installed, the unit wasnt leveled correctly and the right side upper corner of the door was rubbing on the tub when closing the door. I leveled the unit and placed it in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
