"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not producing ice. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=8 degrees. When I went to remove the ice bin, I found it full of ice. The customer advised that the dispenser wont dispense the ice. I tested the dispenser and found the motor functioning but no ice being dispensed. I pulled the ice bin out and found a large block of ice in the bin (photo). I removed the ice maker and found the fill tube chute clogged with ice and when the ice maker fills with water, the water is overflowing the chute into the ice bin. I cleaned the ice maker and ice bin and when I went to clean the ice box I found the fill tube dripping with water. I removed and replaced the dual valve and tested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

I ran a clean washer cycle and found a large amount of suds, and a leak coming from the door as well. Found debris sandwiched between the door and bellow, causing the leak. I cleaned the debris and retested and found no further leaks. Found no other issues with unit. Rugs cause unit to bang around and stop the cycle due to being heavy and unable to distribute the load equally, leading to off balance issues causing unit to stop. Advised to limit rugs in unit, regular loads should be working as designed at this time. Repair completed."

Notified customer that its possible the sensors are not picking up on the remaining moisture in the drum. Customer will run 2 test. 5 towels on sensor mode and 5 towels on timed dry. "WDF520PADM9 Arrived to inspect drying. The customer had an end-of-first-year inspection and the report showed deficiencies of the unit. The first listed deficiency was the lower rack wheels loose. The inspection showed listed them as angled and possibly loose, but the angle of the wheels is part of the design of all four and I verified them operational. The report showed water bending at the end of a cycle and I tested within service test mode. All functions were present and the unit filled, circulated, dispensed, heated with the correct amp draw and cycled as designed. The customer does not regularly use the machine and they do not use or need rinse agent and I suspect that was the cause of the mention within the report. The only deficiency I found was the RO drinking waters rejection water drain line was co-located with the dishwasher drain and I advised the customer that is not advised by the manufacturer and to ensure the disposal does not clog, or have the drain line moved, which is the preferred method. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing water. On inspection found the water reservoir frozen. I took a heat gun to unfreeze the reservoir. Water started to flow after about 5 minutes after the use of the heat gun. I sealed the evap cover that the reservoir sits next to. The rc evap thermistor tested good. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected.

The customer advised the unit does wash and clean their dishes, but that the dishes end up with at the end of the cycle. They also advised that sometimes the user interface does not accept their selections. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F9 E1 (slow drain), F9 E2 (drain pump electrical problem), and F6 E4 (float switch open) error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer advised that the unit has always been empty of water and has not left water inside of the dishwasher but that the heater just doesnt seem to work as well as it used to. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7736260021. He advised that the issue was with over sudsing, and that this was a Usen care issue. He advised that because the unit does complete the water cycles and just does not dry. Does not mean that the unit had a problem. Advise with the float switch and draining error codes that that would be a clear indicator of oversuds. He advised to have a customer run a clean dishwasher cycle and to switch to liquid soap. Advice to make no repairs on this unit and that the unit is working as designed. Cole complete."

The customer advised of the unit does cool but he has temperature concerns with the unit as some of his milk has been expiring. Took temperatures on the refrigerator and freezer and found the refrigerator at 33?F. Check the freezer and found it at 0?F. The customer advised that hes been using it meat temperature probe to check temperature of the refrigerator and it has not gotten below 40? even set at 33?F. Did advise the customer that the issue may be with his temperature probe not being submerged into water or anything showing product temperature. Found no evidence of any defrost issues of any kind. Had the customer try the unit two more times with the unit starting a cycle each time. Did advise the customer that it is possible they just had a power outage or a loss of power at the outlet. Arrived onsite for a wash that is making a loud noise when in use. Upon running the unit I found that there was a noise like something hitting metal. Upon further inspection I found that there was a comb that was left in the basket of the machine. After removing the comb I tested the unit and found all functions are normal and no noise present.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is tripping the breaker as soon as it is turned on. The customer tried a different outlet and it tripped that outlets breaker. The breaker was off when I arrived and when the customer turned it on the UI illuminated and the breaker tripped. I did a visual check of the harnesses in the control box and in the compressor compartment seeing nothing wrong. I disconnected L1 and the neutral molex connector from the main control then reset the breaker and it didnt trip. I disconnected all the loads from the main control and reconnected L1 and neutral then powered on and it didnt trip the breaker. I powered off and added one molex connector at a time then powered the unit back up and could not get the breaker to trip again. After connecting all loads and powering back up the refrigerator is working as designed and all loads are functioning properly. I explained to the customer to load it up with minimum food supplies for a couple of weeks and monitor it. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is still not defrosting. On arrival I inspected the evaporator and found it with a normal frost pattern with the frost slightly thicker on the lower two coils. I found the FC at -7 degrees and the RC at 39 degrees but the customer stated that it was at 37 before she started opening it up. I found the dampener and the return vent in good condition and the evaporator fan working as designed. I went over the setting adjustments with the customer and showed them where the return air vent was and explained to not block it with product. At this time the unit is working as designed. I found the door gaskets in good condition. I did find some small gapping at the bottom between the chassis and liner. If the lower coils frost up again we will need to return with white sealant and close the gaps up. Call complete.

Upon inspection I found the drain hose was installed too far down the stand pipe causing a slow drain issue and I also found a cloth under the wash plate. I checked the gearcase and found it good. Arrived on site for door locked and error code F9-1 long drain. Upon arrival unplugged unit to reset control. Restored power and door unlocked. There is standing water in tub. Ran diagnostics and got F9-E1 log drain. Forced drain and pump energized just got small trickle of water. Disassembled the front of unit to access drain pump. Inspected drain pump and found filter completely blocked with debris. Uploaded pic on SD. Cleared all debris and test unit by running a quick cycle. Unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit to an auto test. Found the unit Woodfill, and when it came to agitation, the control turned itself off. Drained out the water and diagnostics due to the unit not clearing out the water when power was restored to the control. Check voltage to the unit when I ran the unit through manual agitation. Did not find the voltage drop below 119 V when the control will turn itself off. Ran an extension cord to another outlet on another breaker. Still had the same issue on the other outlet. I called whirlpool techline and Spoke to Steve SR# 7736079035. He had me run several checks and resistance checks, and advised that he still was unsure about the power supply to the unit due to the control turning itself off. He was the only other issue could be a lower harness issue, but did advise he was unsure whether or not that would work. Did go over that with the customer and the customer advised they would prefer to replace the wire harness as a last ditch effort.; ordrng 1 W11233718 (Lower harness)"

Arrived onsite for a washer that will not lock and makes a bad noise when spinning and agitating. The customer stated it started the noise and she turned the machine off at the breaker but when turning it back on it started running on its own. I determined it was the drain pump that came on because the tub still had water in it. I tested the unit and duplicated the grinding sound finding the motor pulley stripped. Arrived onsite for unit missing bracket to install. On inspection looking for the bracket that holds the chimney up by the ceiling on a vent hood. ; ordrng 1 Bracketforchimney (The bracket they put by the ceiling to attach the chimney for the vent hood.)

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit makes a loud groaning noise during the wash cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error code and tested. The unit completed testing as designed. Ran another test and I could hear a faint groan noise. I am ordering the sump/motor assembly and scheduled return service for 04/28/23. Returning tech will need to use their floor protector when pulling the unit out as glass tile floor will scratch. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice. Upon inspection I found that the ice dispenser was not copper. The auger motor did not turn on when I pushed. I made sure that the control was not locked. Turn off ordered auger motor solenoid. Ice door. Coupler, bracket. Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed isolation valve. Upon arrival customer stated unit wasnt cooling. Confirmed both compartments at room temp. Found compressor shutting on and off continuously. Found equalized psi at 60. Found running pressure would immediately jump to 0/100 under 2 seconds. Found compressor locking up. Arrived on site for cycle not operating properly. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got error code F2-E1. Everytime testing agitation or spin control will just power off. Need to replace control. Ordering control. Offer to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11607637 (Control)

"Arrived on site for dishwasher, inspected unit and work area. Customer explained it starts to leak around 40 min into the cycle. Used the clear door to see if the spray arms where moving and found the lower spray arm cracked from one section and allowing more water to come out. Replaced both spray arms and re-tested. Unit looks to be working as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Job is completed. ; O-emld tckt"

Arrived on site to test unit for low cool. Found internal temp was 60 degrees. Accessed evap and found frost ball around cal tube and suction tube. Customer stated unit worked good for a few weeks. Recommend sealed system replacement as potential restriction with in system. Needing 2 hrs and SS tech on return visit. Unit is r134a. "Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop burner(s) not functioning properly. Upon further, the customer advised that the front right burner doesnt ignite properly. I tested all burners and found all but the front right operating as designed. I found the ignitor is arcing downward and sometimes all over the place and not straight up as the others do. I attempted to adjust the burner head, cap and ignitor and nothing seemed to correct it. I am ordering the front right burner head and scheduled return service for 05/01/23. Arrived onsite and found unit power cycling board when motor activated for spin or agitation. Replaced capacitor. Unit is still shorting and overloading the control. Ordering control based on unit case history for this problem. ; ordrng 1 W11607637 (Control)

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a door that will not seal properly. Upon arrival I attempted to replace the gasket but torn it. I reinstalled the old one the and secured it the best I could and ordered and new door office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 LW10648584 (DOR-FIP) and 1 W10249195 (Door gasket)

Arrived on site for refrigerator making intermittent humming vibration. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found no failures in fc/rc areas. Found drier as well as condenser coils making contact with different areas in of compartment. Used sound pads and adjusted lines. Found noise no longer present. "Arrived on site for IM not working. On inspection found the thermistor is open on the old unit. I installed the new ice maker and the thermistor was open on it to. I took a look at the wires on the fc door and they were good, I then used the test button on the IM and it ran though a harvest, home position and a fill test and it all worked. I could not use the units self test to do any of the test (harvest,fill etc) on the old or new IM. Going to order a control board and another IM; ordrng 1 W11546935 (IM) and 1 W11558182 (Cntl brd)"

Arrived onsite for oven door handle and glass not working. On inspection found the Handel was minor a screw and the front glass had slipped down a 1/2 inch in there is a gap on top now. Ordering a new front glass.; ordrng 1 W11176456 (Front glass) and 1 W11178521 (Name plate)
