"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. Take a temperature of the refrigerator and freezer sections and found the refrigerator sitting at 36?F and the freezer sitting at 2?F. Did not see any evidence of any defrost issue on the unit and the unit was calling as designed. The customer advised that she had a another service company out who had determined that there was a defrost issue and that they had come four days ago to defrost the entire freezer. Check resistance on the Thermistor is from the control and found 10.7 ohms of resistance on the RC thermistor and 22.5 on the freezer defrost thermistor. Found that matched the temperature readings inside the freezer and refrigerator sections. Checked resistance through the heater and the defrost thermostat. Found both within range. Check voltage going to the heater during a forced defrost and found 120 V going to the defrost heater. Spoke to JC and was advised the issue would be most likely a DC Short or an electronic issue, but he had me read a message from management regarding issues with the 5 door refrigerators.

Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not filling up with cold water. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complain and found hot water coming in and cold water was requested. Checked out the back of the unit and touch the houses. Found that the hot water hose was hooked up to the cold water valve and the cold water Hose was hooked up to the hot water valve. Swapped the two valves and test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed.

"Arrived on site for a wall oven. That is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced the transformer and tested the unit. Still found the unit would not heat. Check voltage going to the transformer in Carmel voltage across the transformer or the red line going to the chassis ground. Check voltage at the Magnatron TOD and still found no voltage being supplied. Traced voltage back to the control and found no voltage coming from the control.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found frost on the FC evap cover. Removed the cover and found the evaporator engulfed in ice/frost. Using my steamer, I removed most of the debris and tested the bimetal and found it closed. I researched the part in the parts breakdown and found the part prescreened was the incorrect part. Using a part from my van stock (WPW10225581) I removed and replaced the bimetal and removed more ice. Tested the unit in diagnostics and forced defrost and could hear the element sizzling from the water hitting it as the ice melted. I recommended the customer leave the unit unplugged for at least 24 hours and leave the FC door open and place a fan on the compartment to defrost the ice faster. I vacuumed the water from the drip pan at the back of the unit. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a cooktop that has no power. Upon inspection I found that there was no power at the wall I plugged the unit back in and checked the breaker and found that it had tripped. I reset the breaker and found that it tripped immediately I then unplugged the unit and reset the breaker again and found that the same thing happened again. Meaning that there may be some wrong with the wiring on that circuit or the breaker itself.

Arrived onsite for a cooktop that is no longer igniting. Upon arrival I checked the breaker and found that it was miss labeled as lighting on the outside breaker box. I reset it and tested the outlet and found polarity good. And a solid 120 at the plug. I tested the unit several times and found that the unit is now operating as designed. If this happens Agatha cx will correct the issue.

"WFG550S0HZ0 Arrived to inspect control for oven not working. I found the unit was displaying F2E1 and there were a few segments missing within the DRO. control removed and replaced. All functions returned to the unit and it operated as designed. No gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was not advancing through cycles. Ran diagnostic cycle and found cold inlet was super slow and weak. Removed cold line and found sediment covering the screen. I was able to blast and clean off the sediment. Retested unit and verified proper flow.

Also found the freezer section filled with too much food items. Cleared the food items from the freezer baskets and closed the unit door and it is closing properly and sealing properly. Customer advised the fresh foods section ice maker isnt working properly. I advised that due to the air leak and frost/ice build up, the freezer section is getting too warm for the ice maker to harvest properly. I recommended the customer leave the fresh foods doors closed and unplug the unit and allow the freezer section to defrost and clean the remaining water before plugging it back in before placing their food items back inside and to not fill it as much to allow the door to close properly. "PFE29PSDCSS Arrived to inspect noise and cooling issues. The unit had gone through an apparent freeze-up and had recovered well, but the drain tube assy for the RC was plugged and the drip pan overflowed, filling the area below the crisper. I removed and cleaned both the FC and RC drain tubes and then removed the ice from the floor of the RC chamber and verified all functions present and operating as designed. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not heating. Upon further inspection, the customer advised thst the unit oven is not heating and after attempting to heat on bake at 350, the oven stayed at room temp. I removed the bottom panel and tested on bake at 350 degrees. I found the ignitor failed to illuminate. Tested ohms to the ignitor and found 1417 kohms; way out of range for room temp reading. I removed and replaced the ignitor and retested and the unit continued to fail. I tested the control and found it not providing voltage; therefore, I removed and replaced the main control and retested and I could hear the relay clicking, but the unit continued to fail. I tested voltage at all points and got good voltage (123V). Using my jumper wire, I jumped the harness to the valve and tested on bake again and found the unit operating properly. I advised the customer of my findings and they advised that they need the unit repaired before tomorrow evening. I am ordering the valve and another ignitor. "Arrived onsite for a washer making a grinding noise and leaking water. I tested the washer in the auto cycle and it completed the cycle and worked as designed. I found no water leaks. I did see where the cold water line at the valve had been leaking and saw a water stain on the back panel but the line was already tightened up. I ran a manual high speed spin and could hear a metal crackling sound. I removed the gasket and ran the high speed spin and could still hear a noise from the gearcase. I replaced the gearcase and reassembled the machine then ran the high speed spin test again finding it making the same noise. The basket will need to be replaced. Arrived onsite for a cooktop with abnormal colored flames. I tested the cooktop and found the flames normal height and burning baby blue in color. The cooktop is working as designed. The customer showed me a video and the flames were all orange in color. I asked the customer if they use a humidifier and they confirmed they do at times. I explained that this would cause the color flames they were seeing. I explained that when it does it again to open the back door for a few minutes and it will go away. The customer stated the right grate will slide to the right of the cooktop and will not stay in place when moving pots or pans on the grate. I found the grate warped and not staying in place. While the unit was unplugged and the refrigerator compressor had stopped, started hearing the screeching sounds coming from the top of the refrigerator, indicating refrigerant going into the evaporator. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop missing a screw from the top right burner. Upon further inspection, I found one of the screws, to the back right burner, was missing. Also found the ignitor to this burner not seated properly. I raised the cooktop onto my supports and removed the cooktop from the base and found the ignitor clip had fallen off. I found the screw to the same burner head was broken and I removed the base of the screw and re-installed the ignitor. I reassembled the unit and using screws from my van stock (W10758282), I replaced the screws that were damaged/missing and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. "WRS588FIHZ04 Arrived to inspect ice dispensing issue. I found the button had to be pressed very hard and for a long duration to dispense the ice. The door flap would initially open and then there would be no dispenser motor. I replaced the switch and found no issue and tried a second one that was sent out, just in case. Seeing no difference, I replaced the UI and found the issue resolved. I suspect the circuit board within the UI may have been damaged and the excessive pressure in the button flexed the dispenser area and UI mount, causing continuity within the circuit. The chassis required squaring and door matching. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking inside of the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that over the last few weeks, they have noticed water droplets at the top, the refrigerator section and has been dripping down in their refrigerator. They also advised that the freezer has been frosting up in the freezer section too. Confirmed both complaints and found no issues with the gaskets, but air seeping in from the edges of the cabinet where the liner does not meet the cabinet. I found the refrigerator liner at the bottom creating a half inch wide gap at the bottom, causing the refrigerator issue and two spots up at the freezer corners, causing the freezer frost. I called Whirlpool Tech-line and spoke to Andy SR# 7736395100. He had me take several photos of the gaps and advised that this unit would be sent to review based on the photos sent. He asked me to tell the customer that whirlpool will be in contact with us or them depending on the next steps. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for microwave, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was microwave not heating. Confirm the issue and found it not heating. Removed unit from wall and replaced magnetron, tested and its now operating as designed. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that when the light bulb is screwed in it caused the bulb to fail and the lights on the control to go out. I found the socket shorting when the bulb was seated. I replaced the LED bulb and the socket. All is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for washer not cleaning. On inspection I but the unit in diagnostics mode and heard a grinding noise during agitation and spin cycle. Flipped the unit up and found oil all over the bottom of the unit. I installed a new gear case,clutch and slider. Re ran the diagnostics mode and the grinding needed was gone. I calibrated the unit. The unit is operating as designed and No was leaks detected during inspection."

Arrived on site to test unit for burner flames to high. Found flames perfect advised customer if she wanted to simmer something she would have to move it to the simmer burner. Job complete.

"Arrived on site and found no ice production, found waterline is frozen. Used steamer to remove ice and icemaker is cycling and will fill with water. Also found a large air gap on the freezer door gasket, took one picture. Aligned doors and used heat gun on gasket until it is sealing properly, took multiple pictures, job complete"

"Arrived on site and found timer is still not advancing for apartment resident. Found airflow is good on meter and it is heating properly. Found orange wire on thermostat is not connected. After reconnecting thermostat timer can be observed moving properly, job complete"

Removed evaporator cover and found ice build up or from icemaker fill tube dripping, took one picture. Anglade is making contact with ice and causing noise. Removed ice and used foil tape to wrap around bottom of Ice tube funnel in an attempt to prevent water drips. There is no known repair to correct issue. Job complete"

"Arrived on site to test unit not operating properly, customer stated that a LO FLO error code popped up when the unit is filling and during rinse cycle, tested unit found water valve not letting enough water through, inspected valves and found excessive amount of calcium buildup, replaced cold and hot valve and tested, unit is now running as designed no leaks detected job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not heating. Upon further inspection, I found the unit performing a wash cycle and I cancelled it. I found a large amount of suds in the tub (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. While testing I tested the amp draw to the components and found the element showing 7-9amps during wash and drying cycles. I found the customer not using rinse aid (photo). I found a large amount of powder detergent and hard water deposits on the element as well. I contacted techline and spoke to Brandon and advised of the complaint and my findings. Brandon recommended advising customer they must use rinse aid, especially with plastic tub and provided SR#7736305336. I advised this customer of my findings and made recommendations for use and care,,as well as detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
