Arrived onsite for DW that is not starting. Upon inspection I found that the knock out in the disposal was not removed causing the drain pump not to pump the water out of the unit causing the unit to think its flooded so it wouldnt start. I removed the knock out and tested the unit several times and found the the unit s now operating as designed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator dropping slabs of ice and filling the RC compartment with water. I examined the RC compartment and found water and ice slabs a 1/2 inch thick coming from the evaporator drain. I found the icemaker is also not fully twisting to drop ice cubes and double filling and leaking out. I replaced the icemaker to resolve this. I attempted to steam out the drain and found the drain was choked out with foam, and will not even allow steam to penetrare from either side. Called tech line and spoke with Andrew, SR7736349128.

"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not producing ice. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. I found the valve not functioning and allowing water to dispense into the reservoir. I removed and replaced the valve and retested and found the filter was past due to be replaced. I replaced the filter and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"MVWC465HW3 Arrived to inspect noise during spin. Service test mode showed F2E3, as the only stored error code. Manual test mode, high speed spin revealed the unit would shift to spin mode and operate. I did not hear any unusual noises during manual testing and inspected the gear case area. I found the belt loose and there was some splutch chatter. As a precautionary measure, I replaced the belt, splutch and shifter and the capacitor for being right at the lower 5% allowable of its capacitance. Further inspection revealed the F2E3 returned after clearing codes and the unit would not calibrate. The harness connector for the left-most switch, the Soul Level was not fully seated. After correcting, the code self-cleared and I was able to calibrate the unit. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for dryer that is making a rattling noise. Upon inspection I found that the blower wheel collar rattling when in use. I used the pads to isolate it from the blower wheel housing. And a pad on the chassis under the motor and tested the unit and found that the noise was gone and the unit operated as designed.

"WSR57R18DM05 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the compressor, service port and dye drier, after evacuating the system. I pressurized to 140 psi of N and checked for leaks. There were no signs of any leaks at any of the accessible joints and I charged the unit and monitored. After 10 min of run time, I re-checked the evaporator with UV light and found a pinhole leak at the upper left side of the evaporator, within the finned seen. I removed and replaced the evaporator and re-charged the system. The unit operated as designed, no water connections to the unit."

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that is not draining during use. On arrival unit was switched off. Powered on unit and was able to get it to drain. Filled and tested again and this time motor ran, but did not drain. Cycled and repeated and unit drained successfully several times. Since drain motor is running, only other possibility is that the check ball in the diverter is sticking due to buildup in the unit. I advised customer to run some cleaner through it several times to remove buildup and keep the check ball moving. Sump is not available to replace if the cleaning does not resolve. Customer will clean unit and use.

"MDB8959SKB0 Arrived to inspect leak from tub. A prior company had been about and claimed the tub was leaking. I found the area and verified no leaks, through four complete service mode tests. The two deficiencies found were the drain line was incorrectly routed through the outside of the left rear leg, causing he rubber connector portion of the line to kink, which is known to be an issue that can cause overflow conditions. Secondly, the OWI sensor was not fully installed and I could see the seal, which was supposed to be at least 1/4 within the sump housing and not visible. I corrected the two issues and tested. No leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite for center burner would blow it self out when igniting. On inspection the large flame would take 5 servings Belford it would try to lite. When it lit it would blow it self out. The simmer had no issue. I took the dual burner apart and adjusted the position of the igniter. The flame lights form the right going left. It was trying to light the flame left going right and would not ignite until the gas mad it way around the burner to where the igniter was. Then there would be a small explosion and the flame would go out. The unit is open as designed now and no gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site to test unit for gas smell. Test unit and no leaks detected from unit or regulator. Found leak coming from shutoff valve. Customer took a video of leak detector going off at valve and not going off at regulator. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that is not cooling in either compartment. Customer said unit did not cool for 3 days, then randomly started cooling again. I examined the unit and found FC set to max, but won't drop under 10 degrees, RC around 40. I checked the compressor and it's scalding hot and also rattling. On further inspection found the compressor severely rusting out as well. Didn't see rust anywhere else on initial inspection. I advised the customer we need to replace the rattling / failing compressor, drier, defrost timer. Unable to access the unit due to so much water being trapped in unit that tipping the unit causes flooding. "Arrived on site for refrigerator. That is still intermittently parents off off. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit worked for about five weeks before stopping cooling again they advised that theres no specific time that it happens but that temperatures in the refrigerator will get up to the 50s before the unit recalls and starts working again. Found temperature in the freezer and refrigerator sections at 1?F and 40?F. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Kurt SR# 7736349133. He had me run it amp draw off the compressor to confirm that there was not an issue with the sealed system. Found the unit measuring 9.2 to 9.35 A while running. He advised that this was perfect. I did check the compressor and did not find it overheating. He advised that based on all of our service done on this unit that the most likely issue would be with the user interface.

"WDF330PAHB0 Arrived to inspect dishwasher not completing cycles. There no stored error codes and service test mode showed all functions to be present and operating as expected. I did find the drain line was too low, right at the level of the bottom of the sink basin. Due to the description of the issue and my findings during testing, the drain likely backed up during operation due to the incorrect drain line installation and I corrected, verifying the drain line now is routed up the the level of the top of the left drain basin. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

The customer also advised that the lid does not seem to be sitting flush with the cabinet. Found that the washer top was not aligned with the cabinet. Remove the screws out of the top and realigned the top to fit properly over the cabinet. Plug the unit in and found the unit immediately go into a drain. Attempted to get the unit to stop draining, but was unsuccessful and because the unit was draining, the lid would not unlock. Found an F9. E1 (long drain) error code. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven with no power. Upon further inspection, the customer provided photos of the unit control panel showing error codes F6E1 and F9E0. Customer advised that they cycled power at the breaker 3-4 times and after getting the error codes the unit never came back on. I removed the control panel and tested the fuse and found it bad. I removed and replaced the fuse and cycled power and the unit came on and began showing the mentioned error codes. I cleared the codes in diagnostics and before I could begin testing, the F9E0 error came on again. I pulled the unit out onto my oven dolly and tested the control and found from PX1-1 to PX3-2, I had a constant 240V. I cleared the code and tested the unit in Bake at 340 and tested voltage to the bake element and hood no voltage and then the error code came back on.I removed and replaced the main control and tested and found the thermostat is bad. I removed and replaced the thermostat and retested and unit is operating as designed. Retested unit while packing up tools and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is tripping the breaker as soon as it is plugged in. I found the dryer neutral wire connected to chassis ground with the power cord ground causing the issue. I moved the neutral wire to the neutral lug on the terminal block and tested the dryer. The unit no longer trips the breaker and it is heating and tumbling as designed. After leaving the job I talked with the previous tech and he thinks he didnt connect the sensor bar harness. I let CS know and called the customer letting her know and what would happen if the harness wasnt connected and explained that she could use it in time dry until we get back to correct it. "WRS325SDHZ01 Arrived to inspect no ice. FC temperature was -5?F and RC was 36?. I found the ice maker within the unit was an after market and it had failed internally, having two electrical failure points, viably within the gear head assembly. I verified valve actuation, but there was a mass of ice within the fill tube and it will need to be cleared. Further inspection revealed the RC door, bottom right corner had shipping debris within it and it was incorrectly adjusted as well. The debris and position allowed excessive room airflow to circulate through the unit, likely the reason for the now second, ice maker failure. All issues with the door and cabinet alignment were corrected, returning tech may need to remove ice from ice maker fill tube. Office to contact the customer to arrange return service. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is no longer heating. Upon inspection I found that the unit had no airflow with the vent tube connected and with it off full air flow returned. Up further inspection I found that the heating element had separated. I replace the element and advise the cx to have the vents clean. Cx agreed and I replace the heating element and tested the unit and found that the unit is now heating as designed.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has frost occurring in the freezer section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit stopped cooling in the refrigerator section and then began to frost all over the evaporator cover in the freezer. She had unplugged it after this happened due to calling in for service. Found the unit completely defrosted upon entry. Send access to the evaporator and check the heater for resistance. Found proper resistance. Checked the freezer harness for any of the fuses to be open. Found them both within range and showing they were not blown. Replaced the evaporator thermistor and control and tested the unit. The unit began to cool and operate as designed. Call complete.

"1234-Arrived on site to test unit for frost build up in FC. Found plastic trim liner had excessive gap causing air leak and frost build up. Last visit on 08/29/2022 noticed gap and filled with silicone with hopes of making it air tight. Found ice formed between linear and made gap larger, was able to put fingers through. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still not progressing through cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced of the control as diagnosed per last visit and tested the unit. Still had the same issue with the unit not allowing the drum to spin. Did check underneath the basket and did not find any items stuck between the basket and tub. Check resistance through the motor, shifter, and capacitor, and all tests passed. Removed the rotary switches off my control when trying to get the unit to spin to eliminate any rotary switch issues. Spoke to SW, and was advised that the issue could still be with the motor but at this point due to multiple written off parts, we could not write off any further parts for this unit. Advise the customer and the customer advised that he had already planned on buying a new washer anyway, and did not want to proceed further with any further service. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is buzzing and is not starting cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit did not finish the cycle and began to drain immediately after the cycle it was cleared, she advised that since then, they have run a couple different troubleshooting steps to try to get the unit to work. She advised that her daughter had pushed and held the button for 5 to 10 seconds, and it began to work after that. She also advised that during the drain and spin portion of the cycle, it seems to drain and spin several times before actually completing the cycle. I did explain to the customer that when the unit goes off balance, that typically the unit will be stuck in a drain, and the only way to clear that is to hold the cancel button for at least 5 to 7 seconds. Ran unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test, and the unit ran as designed. I did explain to the customer that the drain and spin portion of the cycle is going to go through a couple different spins and drains before it completes and that it is designed to run for at least about 20 minutes. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the compressor failure, I removed and replaced the compressor, UV dye drier and access valve and vacuumed the system. Pressures held good and I installed 5.0oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures. Pressures held good and unit is cooling as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not spinning out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Ran into diagnostics in for an F0 E5 (off balance load) error code. I ran the unit through manual diagnostics and everything checked good. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Ran the unit on a high speed spin for over two minutes and cannot get the unit to bolt. Check the suspension on the unit and found the suspension was good. Did advise to the customer that the issue was most likely with an off-balance load and that certain loads like sheets, blankets, or other bulky items may have a harder time completing cycles. The unit is working as designed. Car complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose microwave with stationary turntable. Tested unit and found turntable not moving. Toggled the turntable on / off button next to start and verified turntable came on properly. Customer had disabled on accident and just needed to turn it back on. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed console. Replaced console unit is now operating as designed. Tested. All checks good

"Arrived on site to install lid for washer, inspected unit and work area. Installed new lid and did not need the hinges. Tested the functionality of the lid and its working perfectly. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E2. I cleared the code and continued with testing. As soon as the unit dispensed water into the tub, when the motor was supposed to come on, the drain pump kicked on and water began to leak out onto the floor. I stopped testing and cleaned the water and pulled the unit out to find the drain hose was not attached. I had the customer sign the waiver of damages when working with water. Due to the error code, I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly and reattached the drain hose properly and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed with no further leaks. I advised the customer of my repairs. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for dryer not heating. Unit is not heating but would tumble . Ran diagnostics and found control failed .

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not starting a cycle without having to be unplugged and plugged back in. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit will so,e times start and wash a load of clothes, but they will have to unplug the unit and then plug it in to get the unit to finish a cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested the unit. The unit operated as designed in diagnostics. I ran a speed wash and the unit operated as designed. The customer advised that they will attempt to set the washer on certain settings and it wont respond (turn on). I checked the control harness and all connections were good. Tested voltage at the wall and its showing 122V. Based off the description the customer gave of the issues theyve been experiencing, I advised the customer that there is an issue with the main control or control panel.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Installed the control board and reassembled the unit. Tested unit and it is operating as designed and no water leaks detected.

"JMC2430IL03 Arrived to inspect potato cooking and convection heating. The customer presented two potatoes for testing, they had been refrigerated and were at 36?F. The unit started the cook for the two average sized baked potatoes and 8:54 was the initial cooking time. The unit completed and the smaller of the two was 206? and the larger was 195? internal and cooked approximately 20%. I then attempted a single, 46? degree large sized potato, obtained from a local store and it heated to 196? after 5:33 program time. I advised the customer to attempt potato cooking with room temperature potatos and see if the results are acceptable. Additionally, I advised trying different doneness settings. Convection bake at 375, with a starting temperature of 145? and after 25 minutes the unit reached 325 and then cooled to 140? and I ceased the test and contact tech assist. Spoke with Ed and got cut off. Called back and reached Austin. SR# 7736323910. Through various testing measures, we found the L2 line showing ground. Only one circuit breaker is installed and I verified it cuts power to L1. I advised the customer that there is an electrical supply issue and to ensure both L1 and L2 are supplied to the unit, with N as well. I left the breaker off due to unknown wiring issues. Customer will contact us if there are further issues."

"Arrived on site for cooling issues in both sections. Found evap cover frosted over. Found evap drain pan covered in ice . Checked heater and ohm out correctly. Unit is not going thru a complete defrost . Recommended replacing heater and adding element prob kit . ordrng 1 W11446726 (Ui)"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator needing the coils cleaned. Upon further inspection, the customer pointed out that there is cold air coming from the front of the unit from in between the RC doors. I opened the RC doors and found the mullion not making contact with the pivot block and the mullion was staying in the open door position even when the door was closed. I found the RC doors not level and the unit rocking back and forth from the back right corner to the front left corner. I pulled the unit out to inspect the coils and compressor and found the coils werent bad and the customer requested that I clean them. Using my shop vac, I cleaned the coils and other debris from the unit (photos). Placed the unit back in its space and leveled the unit. Tested the door opening/closing and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is still making chime noises and displaying power outage on the eyebrow UI. I inspected the unit then disconnected power. I found that after the compressor started up the condenser fan tried to start but stopped. I spun the fan blade and it started running. I powered the unit off again then powered back up and checked voltage to the fan. I had 12VDC and the fan started then stopped again.
